GTA V Screen Tearing FIX - PC

Fix for GTA V Screen Tearing on PC
Change to "windowed borderless" to fix, do not use fullscreen
If you look from 0:03 to 0:27 in the video you will see differens. In Windowed Bordless is fixed, in fullscreen its screen tearing. Look at the between the posts carefully in the video
With Vsync on, it makes the game laggy in some places of the map, with windowed borderless it dosent lag at all and also fixed the screen tear.
I have BENQ GL2450 monitor. This fixed my problem I had.

Dudee i had the same issue lmao, all settings was perfect all of a sudden it responds different, then i changed it to window mode and it was good again with fps gains aswell.. Before that fullscreen was the best overall now this, its crazy

im not sure why this fixed the issue, usually going full screen and 144hz is good but the screen tearing makes it worse. This tip did help, thanks!

@ just play fullscreen and if u have a monitor that has freesync or gsync use it. the only way i can make any game smooth is using freesync on my nvidia control panel

Your aspect Recio is on auto. Try putting it to 16:9

he fixed it.also his monitor is probably 1080p so 16:9 it auto detects that its 16:9.also aspect ratio does not matter if you get screen tear

Trust me constant tweak ur ingame settings v sync on of half etc. Also try controll panel if you have geforce.
