Nvidia makes great Graphics cards, but sometimes they have certain problems like screen tearing. Today we will be eliminating all screen tearing from your games.
You did it!!!! THIS was the video I needed!!! I'm a 45 year old man, I must have watched 8-10 different videos fighting with settings for the better part of the last hour!! I heard this young man's voice (I don't mean to insult) and I knew youth is key when it comes to modern technology!! I followed this guys advice it fixed my screen tearing!! I'm good to go now!! Thank you sir!!
I'm 70 and after replacing my PC with a new one and windows 11 all the videos I produced were tearing. This young man walked me through a fix and I must thank him.
wow, great video, thank you so much! It worked! I just bought a new PC with a 3080, and it was tearing really bad in Overwatch and Fortnite. I changed v-sync to "Fast" like you showed, and it instantly stopped tearing. My PC runs like a champ now, thanks again!
Oh my god, Obviously you are young but the way you explained EVERYTHING was so efficient and easy to understand. Whoever you are kid keep making vids, subbed.
Thanks so much I built my PC 1 year ago and I had the tearing issue and thought it was maybe a faulty component and just lived with it. It didn’t bother me a lot because I do a lot of flying on xplane and I don’t get it but I’ve recently recently upgraded to 3080 and it was still there, and you just saved me so much hassle.
Dude, you helped me a lot, i had screen tearing in normal apps even though i had a good pc, i looked for a video but you were the only one who really showed me a solution. Tysm
Absolute legend, thankyou dude, was trying to figure out what to do to fix the issue and you explained it in a simple but effective way, thankyou so much!

Pretty good explanation thanks man, I have a 60hz monitor but I play fortnite on 240fps just cus it feels smoother and less Imput lag sadly I tried everything and the vsync things works but can't play on 60 it feels odd so igima just have to get used to it until I get a better monitor
Have you tried capping your fps to a little above your monitors refresh rate? (Maybe like 70fps)Also if you do end up getting a new monitor be sure to buy one with gsync, that way you don’t have to worry about any kinda tearing.
@@yummycoolman3316 thank you so much for tellin me that man i will make sure i get one with gsync and i would but playing comp games plus i have an rtx 3060 so id rlly wanna cap it at 70fps but fr thank you bro i appreciate it
Was gaming with rtx 4070 super and a lot of tearings happened, now set to fast vsync and change tv display frequency to 60 hrz (not sure why it capped my sony x90j to 60 only) but it's looking much better now! Thanks!
thank you young man i got this enb mod in fallout nv that i just started using and i noticed this trippy glitch going on in shadows causing like screen tearing in the shadows for some reason hopefully this fixes it!
Thanks man, I thought my graphics card was breaking or something cause I had like these grey flickering lines at the bottom of my screen but this fixed it.
Didn't even have an introduction to the problem because we brought it with us. 10/10 Also, solved my problem. I forgot I put the settings at "Performance" because of Xenia tutorials
just to add for anyone wondering this works so far i was doing this for ac valhalla i have a gtx 1660 and was getting bad screen tearing turned on v sync and triple buffering like the dude said and it works!!
If you dont want screen tearing in your games just cap your fps to your monitor refresh rate in the game settings. By doing that your refresh rate is the same on your pc and monitor. And whats causing the screen tearing.
I'm still testing, but I guess you also solved my screen flickering Issue, I have a flickering issue with my graphics card, especially when scrolling in youtube or any site with some active content, my card is G-force RTX 3050
But what if I'm playing on a Windows computer that doesn't have a Nvidia card and I don't have a Nvidia control panel? Then what would I do? Did you forget to explain that part? Other than that very informative?
@@nitrorj06 Nope it shouldn’t, all vsync does is automatically set your max fps to your monitors refresh rate. If anything vync will make your pc faster!
I clicked on this video and was like oh and then i realized that a kid on a computer is probably way more intelligent than an adult with 200k subs trying to explain it and he explained it way better than them so i was right
What about went i play cyberpunk went i turn on dlss frame gen .screen start tearing but the fps bosst up to 144 fps vysnc can't on went dlss on..went i turn off dlss screen not tearing just ok after on vsync but fps drop to normal 60 fps.my monitor 100 hz rtx 4070 ti super.i5 14600 kf 32 ram .ssd 2tb.should i follow your advice just like in your video?.same isue right? Not just cyber punk , god of war ragnarok same to.

hey man i know 2 years have passed but if you see this i got a question. i tried using geforce experience and it didnt work i reinstalled it and it worked but with it screen tearing came too and i just cant fix it now doesnt matter what i do even uninstalling geforce exp doesnt work if you see this please explain if you can edit: also capping on 60 fps stops the tearing but i want to have more than 60 fps thanks again!
If i choose Screen definition 720p and resolution 720 too , game runs smoothly but screen pixels tear so much , On 1080 so much lag , Should i change my nvidia 3d settings
I only have *On* and *Fast* options, using a 3070 with a MSI MAG2712cqr monitor it doesnt have G-sync, it has Free-Sync and no tutorial has been able to eliminate my horizontal screen stuttering while playing Valorant in Fortnite this didnt seem to happen its supper smooth

Well there is, when you turn vsync there will be a bit more input delay. But unless your a professional gamer then it shouldn’t affect you.
