This thing has got me binge-watching Johnny Depp movies over again and realizing what an amazing actor he is. He can do the most serious and dramatic role or he can give you Looney Tunes mixed with The 3 Stooges and Buster Keaton with a dash of Abbot and Costello. He's a marvel to watch on screen. Media/coverage on him is really mixed...on the one hand you have reports of drinking and partying, and on the other hand you have endless reports of him being kind and charitable. Johnny has battled addiction. That's tragic (for Johnny Depp), but they haven't shown any evidence that he was abusive.
I find it criminal that the recordings are even allowed in court. As far as I understand, these recordings were made by Amber without his knowledge, so of COURSE she’ll be on her best behavior, of COURSE she’ll play victim, and of COURSE she’ll make false accusations he doesn’t bother to refute in the recordings. He doesn’t KNOW she’s setting him up, why would he bother to aggravate the situations further if he doesn’t know she’s setting him up? What a vile woman.

I seem to remember it came up during testimony that their marriage counselor suggested JD & AH record each other during arguments. Later when they had clearer minds should discuss how they interacted and behaved during an argument and perhaps learn from it.

Why can’t they play the full recordings? Instead of jumping around playing different sections, which are not in order, a few minutes at a time. It takes away from the full context of the conversation or argument.
