    Nice review. I went with the new Aero, but added weight to the head and in the handle to increase stability, static weight, and swing weight.

    What does the “Pure” mean in the pure aero?

  • @CalvinCrispo
    @CalvinCrispo 9 месяцев назад +1

    I’m playing the 2022 Head Speed MP as an aggressive baseline player. I use a semi western grip and like pace. Would the aero line be better to switch to? I’ve never played the aero. Slowly switching from Wilson’s pro staff series after 10 years. Couldn’t generate enough pop with the prostaff.

    • @rf10is
      @rf10is 8 месяцев назад

      The speed MP is a very solid racket thats good at everything but leans a little towards power and spin. The Pure Aero will have a some extra spin, and maybe a little extra power. Basically if you want more spin its worth a try

    The stiffness in the Aero Rafa is 71 !!! I have it, and in the plastic said 71 RA.

    Thanks for a great video... I'm a novice, probably level 3.0 and I want to up my racket quality. I'm considering the 2019 Pure Aero Rafa Strung only because it's on sale at a third-off. Is it a good racket for my level?

    • @RacquetGuys
      @RacquetGuys  10 месяцев назад

      Hello Paul,
      I would need a bit more information in order to help you find a proper racquet. The pure aero Rafa could be a bit stiff for most novice players unless they really are looking for that feel. There a tones of racquets on the market but it depends what you are looking for. Soft or firm, power or control, ball launch angle etc. - Richard

      Hi Ryan,
      That is something we are definitely looking into once we receive the racquet. I am very much looking forward to testing the Aero 98 to see how it compares to the previous model vs and the 2023 aero - Richard

    Is pure aero raga good for intermediate/advanced female player (5.5 height and 127 pounds)? Is it too heavy?

    • @RacquetGuys
      @RacquetGuys  10 месяцев назад

      Hello Julie,
      I dont think it should be that is around the same height and weight I am, and I am using a much heavier racquet with customized specs. Typically when females come into the store the max weight which I noticed that they are comfortable with is 285G-300G max. But just take into account that when the racquet is strung it adds 15g of weight on average. - Richard

    Blade 98 v8? Or pure aero 2023 for the player agresive baseliner?

    • @RacquetGuys
      @RacquetGuys  10 месяцев назад

      Hello There,
      That would be hard to say, both of these frames are great for an aggressive baseliner, but it really depends on what sort of feel and ball you are looking for from your racquet. - Richard

    Great review guys.
    Any news about how long the "old" version is going to be in production? I have 2 (yellow and Black ones) purchased from you but have cracked them both.
    I'm also thinking of switching to the Pure Drive and was wondering if:
    1- you have reviewed the 2019 Aero vs the latest Pure Drive and
    2- If you're going to review the New Aero vs the latest Pure Drive.
    Thank you for the video and overall the great job that you do.
    Cheers!

As for your request for the comparison between the to here is the link to our video ruclips.net/video/_F3jQBKO3Ds/видео.html We will for sure be making that video of the 2023 aero vs the 2021 pure drive, Stay tuned!! - Richard

      @@LiamApilado Nice to see you here Liam! I have a few 2019 Babolat Pure Aeros, but since I had them heavily modified I have cracks in their frames. I love them still but they're more for spin enthusiasts, and I'm more of a flat hitter. I'm thinking of Pure Drives at this time. Looking forward to more videos from you hopefully soon! 🙂

    • @RacquetGuys
      @RacquetGuys  Год назад +2

      Hello there,
      I personally didn't notice any sound when making contact with the Aero 2023. The only feedback difference I felt upon impact was the stiffness of the frames. The 2023 being more plush than the 2019 - Richard

      @@RacquetGuys thanks for your response!
      I have already heard some complains that the racquet make some tiny noises (like the apd 2013 GT) on contact when playing without a dampener.

  • @chanrun7331
    @chanrun7331 Год назад

    The stiffness rating of the new Pure Aero 2023 is 71 according to the Babolat official webpage. It is not 65.. Theoretically the stiffness rating has been unchanged from 2019.

    Older is much cheaper. I don’t see much reason to go with the new unless you prefer the new color or are an Alcaraz fan.

      Finding it impossilbe to find the old aero, ebay sellers are selling used and seem a little sketchy considering the fakes avaliable for that raquet sadly. Lmk if you found a good vendor still elling these!

    • @rafapazos06
      @rafapazos06 День назад

      @@sricharanpusala2469 I got a 2018 Aero team in yellow from my local shop in Budapest half a year ago. They still sell those in both yellow and Rafa’s colours for 125 Eur. I recently got my Pure Aero 2018 in Rafa’s colours also for 125 eur but that one is indeed harder to find now. Only one tennis local shop was selling at good price. I found another selling for 250 eur. I actually bought mine somewhat as a collectible as my name is also Rafa. I played with it a little but my level is a ~280gr racket.
      Anyhow, when I wrote the original comment 6 months ago there was still much more stock of Pure Aeros here in Hungary.
