Me watching this video: Totally zen, paying attention, imagining myself hitting the balls exactly as demonstrated. Me in a match: Headless chicken in total panic
LOL!!! So hilarious!! I just played padel last night, only second time ever, and I did my first tennis tournament this weekend so I had to adjust based on the tips from the guys. Totally echo this comment, the corner hits that smacked against both windows felt like I'm doing awkward ballet, not padel. Also why I'm here, doing my hw and this video is soooo amazing, I'm gonna watch all the videos and go back better, as I'm the only girl with them three guys. With your awesome tips, I'll take them by surprise because your explanations are so clear, particularly the "do/don't" intercuts. Also, "Ka-reeeem!!" is an excellent break from the more serious talk, I vote it stays in the full series 🎉😂🎉 I'm a happy go lucky person so I laugh even when I lose because that's really the truth of it all for me, I'm measuring myself against myself and take my improvement as my little wins from month to month and season to season. So glad I found you online, señor, ¡¡muchiiiisimas gracias!!
@@annas6863 such a nice comment 😍 love to see that passion and attitude towards pádel. We need more players like you 🙌 Also, super glad you found it helpful 🥰
you discussed literally every important thing for padel basics in one short video. Most people often forget at least one thing that you mentioned and don't realize how important these things are. Thanks for this reminder!
The first 4 minutes are so basic but so important. I see myself in all those errors when I started and I see the evolution in my defensive game after applying these tips. Amazing, clear and simple.
Of all the padel channels that i have been watching since i started few months ago this is by far the most explanatory and the funnier. Thanks so much for the videos and big love from Spain
Such a nice message 🥰 This made my day. Thanks a lot for this, this kind of comments help us push our limits everyday to bring the best content poss to all of you 🙌
GRACIAS HOMBRE !!! I just am starting to learn PADEL coming from a lifetime playing traditional tennis and I LOVE your videos here. I am soaking up all your training tips and advice like a sponge!! Unfortunately, I am in USA and so it would be a little difficult to commute back and forth for coaching with you at the moment !!! But......... thank you for taking the time and effort to educate and train all of us........ I will be closely following your posts.
Muchas gracias Stefano!! 😍 Very glad to hear you found it useful! We will bring the best content possible so that you can all (hopefully) enjoy and learn at the same time!
This has been an awesome video. I’ve played padel 4 or 5 times since I’ve living in argentina for a few months now and I love them game. Coming from semi pro pickleball its a been a really rewarding but difficult transition as almost nothing translates except for positioning and net mentality. This video is pure gold and I love your coaching style its so entertaining without feeling fake or overdone
Hope the algorithm pushes this video even more because you deserve it, great not so- standard tips but so valuable, just let the video not reach my opponents 😉
Thanks Goncalo & Karim, really enjoyed your video with basic tips. I also like your relaxed attitude. I am level 4 in Padel back in Portugal so still a lot to learn. Padel is growing in the UK so I hope to be playing more regularly here.
Creo que eres el primer monitor de pádel de youtube que simula correctamente los fallos y parecen fallos reales, los demás hacen movimientos muy ortopédicos porque ya han olvidado cómo se hace mal 😄😄😄🤣 👏👏👏👏
Found your channel by accident, I really like the way you summarize important concepts and the way you explain is cristal clear. Also I must say that this video was not only usefull but also funny to watch! Keep the good work up, I am sure this channel will grow very soon🤙

Apenas descubriendo estos videos y me encantan! Soy nueva jugadora de padel y me gusta un monton pero soy muy mala por ahora hehe espero poder aplicar todos tus consejos y mejorar pronto 🤩 Graciasss!! ❤
Thank you for all the good tips, as a newby there's still alot to learn. What I was wondering, I didn't see you play anymore backhand, how do you decide what to use? You can't always use the forehand right? And also I would like tips on where to play the ball from the back position, and the front position.
In the back position, I think you simplified a lot the decision of waiting the rebound or not. Nothing was said about the spin of the ball, neither about the speed or angle it comes with. For the rest, I totally agree.
You are right. This is a general rule for beginners mainly. There is much more to analyse on how to play of the glass but we tried to keep it as simple as possible here 🙌
Buenos dias desde España ! Me ha gustado mucho tu vídeo, sobre todo la reflexión final. Si viviera en Bristol... te contactaria para que fueras mi profesor de padel ! Un saludo!
Excellent content! love to see quality videos in English too :). Question, I've seen you are grabbing your racket almost from the bottom, is that correct?
Thanks Salva 🙌 I grab it quite low yes, but it is personal preference. The lower you grab it the higher the momentum you can generate, so more power (specially for overheads). Some pros do this and some others grab it a little bit higher up, so you will have to find what works better for you!
@@padeldriver thanks for your answer! Actually I do the same, and as a consequence of that, I have to play with light raquets (360gr)... it took me a while to understand why rest of people could play with heavier rackets until I realised that they were grabbing it much higher :D
thought the same given the acceleration and way the racket ends/pathing, but I guess if you play to the middle or side glass and you're quick enough to comfortably get back to your net position then you could pull it off. Well-explained in a short format. Interesting to see coaching differences back in the UK/between coaches.
Amazing content but a pity that the audio is of your mic is way over-saturated with gains (you can fix that in the mic itself or lowering input on your camera). Cheers!
yeap...your best shot is as good as your early prep and focus following the ball and plan it while just crossed the net onto your side or even earlier if you can read that ball opposant's racket and body movement.
Es una pala exigente, sólo la recomendaría a jugadores avanzados. Si te la quieres comprar me iría a la del año pasado, bastante más barata y la única diferencia es el color.
Play the net means that when you are in the back you dont want to try to go for points, you want to first get closer to the net allowing you to attack and then go for the point. The Lob is a type of strike this makes the ball go over the players making them retreat and allowing you to move forward towards the net
Guys hello, i am new padel player and i bought the nox at10 pro cup coorp genius, my racket is brand new i played only 3 games with it, i want to ask something and explain me if is normal or not, when i put a little bit pressure on the racket with my fingers i feel the racket start squeezing, not at middle of the racket but more at the edge, is this normal? Thank you
Hey, where is the correct point of impact on the usual forehand without glass usage? Is it somewhere in rhe middle of your body or infront? Or depends on direction like in volleys? It is weird but different coaches answer this different. In logic if you have a continental grip and playing straight direction the correct point of impact should be somewhere i nthe middle of your body otherwise you will start bending your wrist to go more in front point of impact.
slightly in front of your centre providing the correct rotation (which few players do) a good rule of thumb is level with your front knee. If you imagine that the holes of the racquet are eyes, they need to be looking in the direction you want to place the ball.
