Loved it!! And this time I was able to follow easily thanks to the color of your shirt 💪🏼💪🏼 It's so nice to be able to relate to a "normal" player who teaches others but also admits his flaws and mistakes. Unlike many other teachers who presume of knowing it all. You are so real and so humble, man. Kudos for the big win and also for your great videos. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Love this type of videos! Understanding the mindset within the game, decision-making, communication with your partner, etc. really a masterclass for us beginners… thanks!
I think I once asked you to play on the right to see if all balls come to you, how would you solve the problem? (Because you had this problem with your previous partner who plays on the right) I guess you don't have a big issue in this tournament :) Or it means whatever you did, you did well that it didn't become an issue 😊🎉
bravo well done!! Your are also very honest on your comments during the video about how you played, your partner and your opponents..very nice indeed!!
Well done on a great result, but also thanks for posting some excellent footage of great rallies. I play in Spain, but am looking forward to some matches when I’m next in the UK. So many padel clubs opening up over there - ¡es fantástico verlo, vamos! 🎾
Congrats, great games!! As a right side player I think you could create more pressure from your service from the right in the following way: if the return is to your backhand, slice it down to the side glass of the opponent on the left - this one is pretty difficult to return properly! (Example situation in video at 5:16)
Great perfomance and nice rallys. its great to hear that you could put your ego beside and go for solid options rather than risking a lot. I would love to have a partner like this, you are a great teamplayer!
Yes, but that is what it takes to win a tournament at the end. Its the same with chingotto and galan. Chingo does everything to be as solid/consistent as he can and always trys to bring galan in the game so he can finish them off. Maybe you are the next british version of chingotto 😂😅
I'd say, based on the final gameplay, that's category 3, or higher end of category 4, if playing in Madrid, Málaga, etc. tournaments. Since it's highlights only, it might look a bit better than it actually was, but overall, I'm willing to guess both couples would fare quite well in the 3rd category.
Hey, I'm interested in the pallap rackets, I'm looking at the power velocity pro 1, I have some questions if you can help! How is the quartz coating holding up? How would you compare the racket to other power rackets you used in the past (which ones did you use previously?)? From a power vs tolerance point of view for example...
Ewan you got any tips for intermediate players I’ve been playing some tournaments recently I struggle mainly with overheads and volleys into the corner
Bro in the battles volleys you need to get the ball to the feets.. it doesn't matter if goes harder .. just keep the ball in a low direction , its all that matters!...
Hi! Im 2m tall, prefer playing left, agressive player, but still love that spin.. been playing on and off for 2 years.. I see my self as a new player still, but now I want to become better.. I want to join tournaments next year.. but! here is my question.. I have around 150euro to buy a racket can you help me! I love power and control and soo many sites and videos says soo many different things about what to pick and how to pick!...
There were a lot to be fair but some of most entertaining rallies are like volley battles and smashes - it’s cut down like from 3 hours footage to 10 mins so a lot is out
@@EverythingPadel tournaments is the most fun :) but normal matches in the mix i think alot of people would appreciate! also it would be very fun and informative to know what racket you chose and why. cheers!
Normally when you sign up to tournaments it’s implied that photos or videos will be taken either by the organisers, sponsors or the individual themselves
It costs a lot of money obviously but it would be very nice to see you go to Sweden and work with one of Swedens best coaches. ruclips.net/user/tr%C3%A4napadel
Congrats bro!!! Great meeting you, and look forward to getting some games in soon :)
Played partner, just like the good old days❤❤
Unreal performance!

Thanks man - still so much to learn and improve on!!!

Incredible performance from the two of you! Congratulations
Thanks mate
Good job! Finally! 🎉
Jake is a great player 👏🏼

I have seen all your other tournaments videos, and Im happy that in this one you have won. Congratulations! You deserve it. Greetings from Mexico
Gracias

Thanks , it’s tough to play like that

Thanks for another great video. It's tough to see that this is the higher level in the UK though. Keep making progress🙌🏼
Really like these tournament vids, very nicely done. Will you be doing any more of these?
Congratulations champs! 🏆🏆🏆
Thanks a lot!
1:38 return ball out?
yes
Well spotted! He must have known that...
Congratulations! Well done.
Great video!🎉 and congratulations on the win!🎉
These are the best type of videos😎👍
Nice win! Saw you'd won this so was hoping a video would land.
Thanks mate
Congratulations!!! Love your padel tips btw!!!
Hi! Great video and great win! I’m watching from Spain and was wondering what a grade level 3 tournament would be in the Spanish system. Thanks!

nice 2 last matches, great level and smashs
really well played! I see a lot of improvement in your play aswell!!
plz make more of these
Wow, congrats! Massive win. I felt you should have played on the left as you were better then your partner. Your beebs won that final
😂😂
Felt like this in Scotland
Please upload more. I live your vids
Nice video! Greetings from Poland
nice video! congrats on the win!!

mate that return from charles went clearly out
Ewan you got any tips for intermediate players I’ve been playing some tournaments recently I struggle mainly with overheads and volleys into the corner

Grade 3 looked AA! Great performance.
such a vibe video!
Thanks bro
Cheeky that behind the back at 2:23
Enjoyed that
well done!!!
1:39 he shot it in the fence. :/
Well done chicos
At 1:40 the ball is out en you keep going😂😅

What is grade 3 padel tournament in terms of playtomic level?
Is grade 3 C-Cateogry? not familiar with the grades
Congrats and well done adjusting to the *right* side 👍
P. S. Just curious - you weren't allowed to film by opponents?
I couldn’t film second round, it was a younger guy and the parent didn’t want it filmed
@@EverythingPadel fair enough; hate mysteries 😂
Cheers Ewan!!!!!! What rank are you currently in UK?
No problem, around 35 ish
Good song choice!!
thanks
1:40 That clearly touched the fence?
I would be expecting more very high lobs at a tournament of this level.
There were a lot to be fair but some of most entertaining rallies are like volley battles and smashes - it’s cut down like from 3 hours footage to 10 mins so a lot is out
gratz! love this type of content and commentary! keep it up
Thanks, will make more, would you be interested in normal matches, or only tournaments?

I think you carried Jake
Well done
Haha thank you but maybes that’s just how it came across in the edit. He carried in the final, won so many points with the smash
Wich racket did you play at the tournament?
Pallap velocity pro
1.30 that ball was straight fence
1:42 was out
A racket as prize for 3 games? wow, here you gotta win 6 matches in a Beginner category to come 1st place
Was 4 games and we got a bye so should have been 5 really
Why weren’t you allowed to film the 2nd match? 🤔
One of the people didn’t wanna be filmed
What a melt
Normally when you sign up to tournaments it’s implied that photos or videos will be taken either by the organisers, sponsors or the individual themselves
The thing is they played really well like way better than expected so it would have been really good for them
Just when you start talking about Charles at 1:40 in the beginning, he hits a return out to the fence. You lost the point. 😢
Yeah noticed too 😏
If that is 3rd i am Ale Galan..
You’re playing against Grade 3’s of course you’re going to be beat 9 year olds at padel
Quality 😂
It costs a lot of money obviously but it would be very nice to see you go to Sweden and work with one of Swedens best coaches. ruclips.net/user/tr%C3%A4napadel
I’ve played this game once and I’m better than you.
Did i really just come from @Padelactico video to this one and he got a shout out??
He’s a great guy and he makes such good videos
