I think it's the most valuable video regarding Padel I've ever watched (and I'm watching lot's of them for half of the year :D). I loved the tips and how they are provided with that sense of humor. Subscribed!
Awesome video. So many helpful tips. Adding sections/chapters to your videos would go a million miles! Bring some structure to all this great advice. Keep it up!
Thank you sven, I really watch all your videos and follow all your tips it has helped me tremendously on court! And this last tip that you gave about playing to the same person will completely change my game as I was making the mistake of switching and wondering why was it so hard to win the points. Appreciate your content!!
Thank you Sven, very good job. You perfectly explained the sense of playing a correct Padel. Good decision making and appropriate tactics applied in a single match makes you improve your level much more then tons of useless playing hours repeating always the same mistakes because uncapable of recognizing them.
Great video, the wrong angle movement is something I see all the time at the recreational level. It is so important that both players are on the same page and know what they are doing. I often see (and I do it myself) switching sides and then my partner gets in trouble. Thank you for these important tips 🙏🏻
He Sven, tot nu toe wat mij betreft de meest heldere uitleg over hoe het spel het best te spelen, met name de laatste tip. Zeker voor beginners erg nuttig. Thanks!
@@OtroNivelPadel this, I would add playing straight lobs. But if the difference is too big there is no way to do much, opponents will gladly do an horrible shot to your partner to avoid you in every way they can, happens to me all the times 😢
Also at 9:10, I guess that if you are forced to the fence, your partner probably is already moving to the center to help, so if you cross the ball back, he will have a huge gap open to his right.
Thanks for the tips! One thing where I differ: I will switch to the other player if he's not getting enough balls. For me it's a game that we play together. I will not play just the weakest opponent. It's not about winning, for me, but about building up nice rallies together.
yeah ....tomorrow i will start my three-ball training and IF it doesn't help at first I won't blame you ..... straight away, but try the next day again 😆
8:15 Wouldn't a non-blockable ball on the side glass work fine there, because it ends up in the middle? Double glass would give you time. If you play the volley to the right it also opens up the space behind you for a lob. Imho it's debatable. I think the rule should be if you need to play a shot out of position, play a shot that gives you time or play a definite winner.
No absolutely not, because if your opponent is positioned in the corner. Which is the position he should be, he can block the ball and your gone. You should play that angle if you don’t have to move side ways. If you move to the right of play to the right. We were are not going to play winners if we have to move, only if we don’t have to
@@OtroNivelPadel thanks. I did say non-blockable... But I suppose what you say is, the ball there ís block-able no matter how you play it. Just seemed to me in your example your forehand volley was pretty high. And a higher ball you can hit a vibora like shot that's hard to block. Block without risk that is.
playing 3x to the same player is even on Premier padel women level so often a common error. 'A' puts pressure on 'C' and 'A' plays the next ball to her partner. 'C' shows a visible relief. Sometimes I wondered wether it were the coaches telling them to use that tactic but I doubt it
Sometimes the court is very slow, and they need to make the angle because otherwise its very easy to defend. But I need to see the matches for those examples
one explanation I wd give is the response time coming from the net. Net player has to react very quickly on the ball coming back from defence, not having the time to be aware of the position of the defense player. Therefore playing for security to the other defense player instead of taking an uncalculated risk
Question considering mistake #10: Sometimes your (ex-tennis) opponents play every ball from left to right and it is very hard to controll that play of game. How do you deal with that? Playing 3 x to the same player looks impossible. Tnx Wiep
A quick question. Hitting 3 times to the same opposite player, is this from only one or both players from across? Or if it is switched mid play, does each player start the 3 times across again?
This is some of the worst explainations I've heard in a padel video. I'm a few matches in and watched a few videos and I can honestly say I understand very little of how this guy speaks and what he says.

But I also like the 3 balls to one player rule, so simple and easy to remember even when you are stressed during the game.

Hey Sven is there a way to compensate for your teammate who is playing bad. A way to help him/her or a way to dominate the court.
Yes there is! You can take more risk with your position. And you can ask your partner to play straight, you will get more balls

Three times to the same play, even if they switch to one of you. So you might end up playing two balls straight
