    Just purchased Pure Areo Team in 2024. New to tennis. Unbiased demo. The Pure Aero worked best and not that I am getting better it's really coming to life for me

      It's a solid racquet! I wonder as you get better if your taste will change a lot or go in a similar direction. I went a very different direction after getting back into tennis but I got back in with a Pure Aero of the time, which isn't all too different from current models honestly.

    OMG, you talked about 2013 babolat aeropro drive, i had one back in the day 😂😂 the frame was really fun to play with. My inside out forehand was my ultimate weapon back then. But i had to sell it because it was causing pain on my arm and wrist. Afraid of the big consequence, i had to sell it. Still missing it 😂😂

    • @time410s
      @time410s  10 месяцев назад

      I understand! I feel a little something sometimes if I'm tight and am using a stiffer racquet. Good reminder to stay loose haha otherwise it'll all go to your arm but it takes good timing/spacing/follow-through and extension and I'm sometimes just not that great at all of those things on every ball every day!
      Babolat was stiffer in those times, too.

  • @juanbruce5981
    @juanbruce5981 Год назад +1

    I agree 100%. My two racquets of choice are the Pure Aero 2019 and the Ezone 100 2022. I use one or another depending the surface or rival, on clay the Aero is safer and allows you to defend better, you can put the ball deeper and with a higher launch angle, while the Ezone is better to attack and produce faster balls. I guess the Ezone allows both spin and flat shots, while the Aero is just spin. That's why I haven't tried yet the Aero 2023, it looked too similar to the Ezone and you're confirming it.

    Have you tried the vcore 95? Excellent control and spin. I’ve been demoing the 2021 version but will buy the one coming out.
    I’ve used the, owned a few. But I can’t get precision and does not feel solid. Feels a bit like a toy.
    What I like about the vcore 95 is that I can rip the ball more. It has great control. But I’ve only used it 5 or 6 times so I’ll have to see. Also, the new vcore they say it’s a bit different from the current one.

      I did a review of the last generation. Can't wait to try the latest one! I didn't love the last one but I could play pretty well with it. However, my tennis is much more weaponized with the EZONE 98 that I use currently. I would love to see the new vcore 95 rival my love for the current ezone 98

    so, did the extra weight in the pro stuff helped you level up your game? Next week i will get my vcore 98 2021 (305gr) for that same reason. Demoed it once and i loved it. I started with clash 100L (280gr) but i find it now really unstable. Started my tennis journey almost 2 years ago.

    • @time410s
      @time410s  Год назад

      Yes because I had to. I actually think it's partly that I was ready for more and partly that it was necessary to keep up with the extra heft.
      It wasn't until I was hitting with a guy ranked in the top 60 nationally that I felt I saw the limitations and crutch of the weight. I'll make a video about that as well since I think there's a valuable lesson in that story.
      Congrats on a good 2 years then! You're probably looking in the right weight spec with the VCORE and it's a pretty spin oriented racket. You might even find that adding a leather base grip gives you even more stability without feeling heavier.
      Let me know and good luck!

    My 2 rackets are the vs and the ezone 100. Both play very simmilarly, but I like the vs more cuz it controls the ball a bit better and its aerodynamics help u with the forehand swing

    • @time410s

      Not actually all that similar. I actually think the EZONE 98 and Pure Aero are much more alike. The EZONE 100 wants to swing and hit a bit flatter.

    There will be coming out a Pure Aero 98 substituting the Aero VS (That's what Alcaraz endorsing not the new standard Aero)
    This new Pure Aero is far from the Ezone 98 regarding control. Aero VS was closer, but Ezone 98 is more control oriented.

    • @time410s
      @time410s  Год назад +1

      I believe Alcaraz is currently endorsing the current Pure Aero. I just double checked right now. Tennis Warehouse lists this as his racket on product page. He was endorsing that VS just a few months ago which is why I mentioned the switch seeming strange.
      I do find the EZONE 98 to play much more similarly to the Pure Aero than I do the EZONE 100. But perhaps the 98 is more controlled than the Pure Aero.

    • @viktorbenedek868
      @viktorbenedek868 Год назад +1

      @@time410s it's a tennis warehouse fault. Holger Rune, Alcaraz, Felix AA listed there as well. They all play with the VS. FAA uses the older thinner frame VS.

    Everyone is going softer. Call it what you want: Auxentic, Kraibon-FS System, lowering the stiffness, you name it.
    I played half an hour with the previous version, the Babolat Pure Aero "Rafa" 100 sq inch.
    The throat is very aerodynamic, but too thick for my taste. It made the bottom part/grip of the racket feel too short. I'd prefer an extended version. Standard length with this thick throat felt like playing a 300 gram Junior Racket.
    I don't like the new Need For Speed Unbound, Street Graphity cosmetics.
    Babolat is only left with Alcaraz and Rune now.
    Head is waaay ahead with next gen tennis players.
    Anyway, Babolat decided to go for a more control-oriented racket with a denser string pattern and kept the thick aerodynamic throat as a reminder of what the Pure Aero used to be.
    I see identity-crisis.

    • @time410s
      @time410s  Год назад

      I get what you are saying. Is Auxetic supposed to be softer? I thought it wasn't really about that. I generally hear more feel but not more comfort. I think some could associate the Auxetic tech to bring more harshness just by allowing more and longer vibrations to be felt.

    • @experientialtennis
      @experientialtennis Год назад

      @@time410s Auxentic is a tech on the bottom part of the racket face/upper throat part that helps with stability on off-center hits. You're right. In my mind this means, less jarring, better stability/comfort. I've got the Boom Pro, but it's my first ever Head racket. I've played with 2 strings at 24kg/53lbs. They V2 Diadem Elevate is much more comfortable, but/and more spin friendly.
