I used to make bbq ( charsui pork ) and I marinate it with the Lee kum kee charsui sauce, a bit of black pepper, mince garlic, juice of ginger I let it marinate overnight. I oven cooked it and it taste delicious 😋😋😋. I definitely try your recipe using the airfryer, it's look yummy though 😊....cheers and keep uploading your recipes 👍
Thank you so much for sharing your delicious recipe, if I can’t fined Char Siu can I use anything else to use instead… Thank you for your response in advance xxx
Lol, when the ribs were ready, and the chef pulled out the tray of ribs from the airfryer, I swear you could hear the dog in the background whining and barking for some of those ribs! 😂
They look so delicious but my question is, can I use stevia instead of sugar and honey (for diabetics) or do you need these elements for the caramiliseation? I can hear doggo wants some!
Those are what we in the U.S. call Spare Ribs and in Texas we don't do ours in a Crock Pot Slow Cooker or a Oven or a Air Fryer. We do ours in a BBQ Smoker Unit that has a offset fire box and we apply a light coating of yellow mustard to both sides after having removed the silver skin membrane on the back sidd then we season with a Pork Rub seasoning and place them on the grill of the smoker that has a temp of 225 degrees to 250 degrees and close the hood or bonet of the smoker and let them cook about 3 to 5 hours. Then we remove them from the grill and lay them out on heavy duty foil and apply a little butter , brown sugar and honey. wrap them up and place back on the grill meat side down and cook for additional 1 or 2 hours. Remove from grill and unwrap from the foil and place them back ob the grill meat side up and baste with BBQ Sauce of choice and allow them about 15 to 20 minutes more unti;l the BBQ sauce has set then remove from grill , slice portions beyween the rib bones and serve . Note : While cooking on the grill one can add chunks of either pecan, apple, peach , mesquite, cherry or oak wood to give the ribs smoke flavor
Although your ribs look very delicious, spectacular even, I feel and I'm going to speak plainly here, that there is way too much sugar in this recipe. You use hoisin sauce, Chinese BBQ sauce which is the char siu, oyster sauce which has sugar, Chinese cooking wine and then you add sugar or granulated sugar in addition. I realize that most orientals when they do ribs, chicken and other meat recipes they use a lot of sugar but my goodness there's such a thing as overkill! And I ask is it necessary? I feel you can make wonderful barbecue ribs and use just a quarter of the amount of sweetness that you have in your recipe. Just my opinion...🤔

Are you using baby rib or just regular rib . Thank you from Miami Florida
Regular
Do you remove the membrane from the back of the ribs before cutting them up???????????????
Nope
YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
Thanks 😆👍
Yum
Thanks
They look so delicious but my question is, can I use stevia instead of sugar and honey (for diabetics) or do you need these elements for the caramiliseation? I can hear doggo wants some!
Yea my dogs😅, you can try. The sugar is for the sweet taste and the honey for glazing
I don't drink whiskey or brandy. Can I use regular cooking wine?
Yes
Wow
Thanks

RECIPE PLEASE,,,,THANKS
Recipe on video description
I do not have an air fryer…..😢 can I make these in my oven?
You can, just check on your temperature
Thank you son, look delicious…Calculate how many kg of ribs with you marinated.
2 pounds.
About how many pounds of ribs can be used?
2-3 pounds, doesn't really matter just need enough marination ingredients
You don't live in queens do you?
Nope
Be kind people with your comments please 🙏
Thanks 😁👍
This. Ignore the trolls.
My friend you should have pulled the silver skin off the back of the ribs it will make the ribs tender
I'm looking for a bite not tender
❤❤
Thanks😁👍

Ok
Why not, remove the membrane? This creates very tender ribs.
Its fine
Yes I was wondering that too...remove the silver skin
lmao @ olive oil!!
Yes
The dog is hungry
Yip😅
why not put the bowl down to make it easy for you ?
Its easy

A lot melts off the ribs onto the foil
The salt in the beginning was not necessary since most of the sauces are already salty.
Ok
