I've never tried KKNT with the matching KCCC but I ❤ KKNT paired with The Doux Bee Girl Honey Curl Custard. It produces a very defined, shiny, smoothe, elongated, medium-strong/flexible hold (strong hold on day 1 of wash and go then more of a medium hold on remaining days esp. if hair is stretched with heat) with lots of movement and minimal but wearable frizz. This wash and go combo seals in & maintains moisture for a beautiful long lasting curl set that lasts 10-14+ days. However, one may experience some light flaking towards the end of a 2 wk WNG esp. if too much gel was applied.

I've successfully paired kinky curly with too many things to name over the last 10+ years. I just make sure that my hair is wet. I really like it for twists under mousse def.

I've been using the entire KC system (leave-in plus custard) underneath Obia Naturals Curl Enhancing Custard. Haven't tried it yet as a wng since it's cold and dry where I am currently. I wear clip in extensions in a ponytail style during the winter mos. I like how my curls look with this combo, so looking forward to seeing how they hold up in a wng when it warms up.

TFS! You’re so methodical and systematic in your approaches. I think that’s important for this journey. I’ve officially gone from a wash n no girlie to a wash n go girl!
I’m trying to find a product I can use as a one & done but can play with others for a better set if desired. I visited CRN curlmaker. I think they changed the formulation from when they first released this. They added xanthum gum. I think the price is lower than kkcc. Good chance I’ll bring it to my arsenal. Would you try curl maker in your trial series?
