Sarge, I bought this 4V based on your 2V rally kit review. Can't thank you enough for helping us find the most VFM ADV! As you mentioned, this is the closest thing to a motocross machine in India!!

Thats such an amazing review. Now that ive got the 4v, i think its the most fun bike out there. Well the power is adequate, the maintenance is cheap, the bike is super capable and the best part is handling cos of the weight and stance. I own a gt650 too, but when its time to hit the road, this is something i always go for. ❤
Fun off road, easy going on road, able tourer within controlled speeds. Very very frugal compared to other options can easily return 40+ kpl on highway infact inside city fuel economy is good. Best part is it is very very very frugal to maintain , with economical service cost and very economical spares. Had crashed my bs6 2v and the cost of repairs was very minimal with few parts changed and nothing major damage considering the crash was really bad one. I am a very satisfied bs6 2v owner.
The gear indicator going blank when the clutch is pulled in is by design, I think this bike determines the gear based on your road speed (kmph) vs engine speed (rpm) and when the clutch is engaged it evidently can't reliably tell what gear you're in, so this is a feature technically ;) The "right way" is to have a gear position sensor but that probably meant more cost so Hero probably skipped it.
This is a great product .. it’s simple and well thought out design .. it can be your daily commuter , highway tourer , off-roader , great mileage , low maintenance.. I just miss a 6th gear ( something like a overdrive gear) given the shortened gear ratios now , switchable rear channel abs and a slipper clutch.
I can’t wait for the 300/400 cc iteration of this incredible bike. That’ll be something to really look forward to. Thanks for the fantastic videos, specially the scenic routes. Great content indeed. Cheers.
Hero Xpulse 200 4V with a rally kit is amazing;(for riders not commuters) . if the channel was true, they would have mentioned that this bike is very tall(with the rally kit) and that normal motorcyclists will find it hard to control until and unless they have had some experience with it. The stock Xpulse is a great beginner bike, but with the rally kit; it is one of the best off-road bikes in India.
If you watch the video again with an open mind you will see that i recommend the rally kit only for people who are buying the 4v as an offroad tool. Rally kit doesn't make any sense if you are buying this as an everyday bike more so if you are short.
The most awaited review ❤️😍 everytime I see a new upload notification i wished it's 4v.. and while waiting for this I have even rewatched the normal Xpulse review 😁

😍👌👌👌 Loved your review sarge sir. My opinion: comparing it with 2v the 4v has better refinement and heat management to munch miles. My only concern is with seats and brakes as you mentioned in the review. A little more padding and better progressiveness in brakes makes the hero a better ADV.

I am an Xpulse 200 2v owner, BS6. About the heat, I would say that the problem lies with the stock engine oil that hero uses in 2v, 10w30 mineral, it really is pathetic. Using synthetic 10 w 40 oil makes a really big difference. Also, hero uses has a different oil for 4v, a 10w30 fully synthetic oil, manufactured by servo, which makes all the difference.
