The new Hero Xpulse 200 4V, with its updated engine and gear ratios, promises better mid-range and top-end performance. Do you think these changes make it a better highway performer? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

If this was a 300cc, I think Hero would stand alone in a dual-sport bike that's made in India. That can pretty much do it all!

I would buy one and make it a supermoto. Put 17inch wheels front and back, reduce the weight by removing all the bits that are used offroad or for touring. I think it would make a good supermoto. But For now, I am stuck with the Apache rtr 160 4v that I bought recently. How is the build quality of hero, is it better than tvs?

Just changing the downtube chassis with a Steel twin-tube will make a whole different experience to riding this motorcycle. The use of high-strength steel gives the bike extremely high strength, making it three times as stable as aluminum. As a result, the use of a much thinner chassis can produce the weight difference between the two materials steel and aluminum will below and can be compensated.
it's a KTM secret by the way...

But the rest 60 kms was the other way round (the roads were terrible infact most places there were no roads just loose gravel)...i have never seen a bike with just a robust shocks...i was hardly closing the throttle at some instances yet she took everything without any issues..

17000 kms done with xpulse 200..inshorts: save your hard earned money And go for some other bike in the market...story: I change engine oil for every 1500kms ..even after caring so much .....I was complaining from the 2nd service about a sound and excess heating of engine but the service team never bothered ...now the piston is broken ..service team didn't let me take the pic and replaced piston, head, piston rings n rod ....now before the next service I have a very annoying sound in engine ...service team again did some lathe work yet the issue persists..service team says they will bring their engineer and nobody has come yet after 1 month...I have met many xpulse owners from Kerala, Karnataka, TN and most of the owners have engine issues ....this bike is nothing but a product failure ...only thing hero does better about this bike is digital marketing to trap buyers ...

For those who are comfortable to cruise around 80-90 kmph for touring, it's definitely a tourer. If one is considering to cruise above 100 kmph, why would they look at puny 200 cc bike? Obviously, they should be looking at above 250 cc segment.

Now hero landed here in the Philippines. Recently they opened a new manufacturing plant here and I'm happy purchasing the xpulse 200 av it's a good bike and the price is very reasonable for 140,000 pesos. Hoping for more indian motorcycle brand flood the Philippine market we already had tvs, bajaj and now hero 👏 👏 👏
