Someone who gives such a detailed ownership experience and not just a review, it certainly cannot be a paid advert for SURE. Very well put together details, the ones that would really matter to a buyer.
Brother, even without owning the Xpulse (I plan to own the 4V soon), I can relate to the bond that you have established with this sweet, honest and non pretensive machine. The best part about this motorcycle is that it doesn't pretend to be a jet-fighter or a corner carving scalpel that the now retired (sigh!) Doc Rossi used to ride. I hope that the shortcomings / limitations you have mentioned, are resolved with the new Xpulse 4V having a better density foam, a brighter headlight and an easier breathing powerplant. But that's not the purpose of writing this comment; it is the way you present your review. The peace and tranquil that you feel with your ride is felt by all who view your video. You have this 'Zen' way of presenting your content and needless to say have an awesome command over your language (being a soft-skills and VnA coach myself, I think I am allowed to make that judgement). You aren't just reading out the numbers, what you do is talk from the heart. Just the stuff that matters, without all the flashy video effects and blaring NCBM tracks that other reviewers use to draw the 'junta' to their channels! Wish you many more happy and safe miles. May your partnership with this beautiful machine bring you more sweet memories. God Bless!
Great review video TFT..the best I can find on xpulse. I too completed 9000 Kms on this and the ownership has been peaceful. Great bike to own. People should stop comparing it with Himalayan or Adv 390 and should know what u r buying for what purpose and at what price point. To simply put it, for someone who is a 9-6 office guy, want to enjoy ur daily office commute, do some weekend breakfast fun rides, go touring once in a while (if ur job permits), want to have an adventurer tourer bike feeling, enjoy the off-road trails and develop ur skills and manage to do all this in absolutely pocket friendly way....then this is the perfect bike..

Very rarely I come across reviewers who are as poised, honest, convincing and have a depth of experience on the machine they are reviewing. Yes, xpulse is no doubt a great machine, and the only reason I avoided it was because it came from the Hero's stable and on paper the specs were disappointing. Thanks for such a wonderful video.

Personally, i think tube tyres are ideal for these off-road bikes coz of the hits the tyre and rim takes. When it hits a pothole the spokes don't let the rim take the beating saving you from rim damages, only the damaged spokes need to be replaced / toured :)
Excellent review and production quality of the video& simple background music is excellent. I liked the fact that I could also hear bird chirping. Im aspiring to do bike touring and with tight budget xpulse looked like a good option especially for its suspension but was worried about height issue and cruising speed of 80 felt a bit low. But looking at your vlog where you were cruising at 100 made me give it a second thought. Thanks for the detailed review, you clearly drew a picture of what the bike is and what it is not. Being from chennai i can relate your reference, especially parry's as my office is there. Weak side stand is a hero thing i guess had the same issue with karizma.

You really cleared all the doubts in my mind. And you made me realise something important that motorcycle should be something that gives you peace of mind. I was planning to get an used interceptor and later turn it into proper scrambler something like triumph scrambler. I had to stretch my budget a lot to get that. And turning it into scrambler would have added even more. Those hefty service and spare cost would have not give me peace of mind. I may have not enjoyed it to its true sense. Now I know which showroom to visit next month.
Dear Toll free Traveler, I am proud Xpulse 200 BS-6 owner. I just went through your video. It cover all aspects which are really essential for one who aiming to buy this machine. On serious note Hero Xpulse 200 BS-6 is really money worth bike for every rider who wishing to have an affordable dual sport bike. Now jump to the pros and cons, every bike has it's own pros and cons but Xpulse 200 just beat them all possbile ways. To be honest it's a bit underpowered but Indian road are not much good to ridden above 100kmph at constant speed. So this bike makes you feel very comfortable in any type of road conditions. Seat comfort need to improvised but you can make custom seat as per your requirements. Dear brother your honest review about Xpulse 200 is very helpful and positive surely 100% positive. I personally say thanks to you for making this wonderful, helpful and honest review of Hero Xpulse 200 BS-6. Those who are planning to buy new dual sport, performing and comfortable bike should go for Xpulse 200 rather to spend your hard earn money on other costlier bikes. Be safe and always wear helmet. Once again thank you so much.
I loved the review! I have just been waiting for so long for someone to tell me that ' if you want to do 700-900 Kms a day for a few days and reach a place and explore crazy routes' this bike is good enough :D that's all the confirmation I need. I guess I'll have to stay light with the luggage and make some modifications but I'm stoked to get this bike :)
Coming from a Pulsar 150 UG1 and then a Pulsar AS200, I was desperately looking for something that would pamper my back and keep the already apparent signs of spondylitis in check. Being 41, 125 kg and suitably unfit, that's a tough task... but I have to hand it to the Xpulse - this is an exceptionally comfortable bike to ride on all sorts of surfaces. I must admit that my decision to go for the Xpulse was majorly influenced by your channel (and by Bulu Patnaik and Nature Moto). It's only been 500 km so far, but I am falling in love with the bike. Thanks for the inspiration!

Hi, I like the way You have briefed this amazing motorcycle from the house of Hero Motocorp. The Hero people should reward You for that. I'm Your subscriber and fan now😊
Hero had a very good engine in Karizma, which should have been tuned to create a adventure-tourer bike. Just like Honda CRF230. The 223cc long stroke engine had quite a good low end torque as well.
Beautiful bike... Beautiful explanation ... As a fellow Xpulse owner The sentence I related with most is "It can do everything" I am from Nepal and believe me I have tested this motorcycle in the toughest motorable roads there are in the himalayas... @@exploretheworld2forgetyourself Yeah bro but it depends upon you , If you are a solo rider with cruising speed of 80 to 100 its a good bike, I'm 60 kg so the seat is comfortable if you are big you just add little bit of foam you'll be good.
@@exploretheworld2forgetyourself its not a problem brother, my cousin is about 85 kgs and he loves to ride it and it suits him good, you like it just go for it.😉
I have around 5,00,000 km riding milage on Indian roads. Urban/rural/trail/highway/gravel/sand. From expirence I can say my number 1) preference is long/duel purpose suspension setup. Number 2) is minimum 19inch front wheel & dual purpose tyres. Number 3) comfortable seating position. Number 4) is good handling/balance. Number 5) is reliable & decent power engine. After fulfilling my itch on sports bikes, cruisers, naked bikes, vintage bikes I've reached to the following conclusion- 1) sports/naked bikes are useless on Indian roads, suspension setup will sour your back within a year. 2) cruiser bikes are OK for highway commute, but lack of suspension travel & small wheels will sour your expirence through speed bumps & pot holes. 3) while vintage bikes have good duel purpose suspension setup but lack in reliability & higher upkeep. Which led me to duel purpose bikes, these bikes are perfect for Indian unleveled roads, with pot holes and bumps. Can take on rural/dirt roads as well. And at the end of day, you will feel fresh, wanting to ride again.
Thanks for a very encouraging review. I hope to hire an XPulse in Kathmandu when the pandemic lifts and ride it to Pokhara and Kagbeni; as you have done. This video make it certain that the XPulse is the best bet.
Three things: 1) when you ride it on highway, you will surely feel the need of a sixth gear, which i feel hero should have thought about, since its a 200cc bike 2) The pillion seat! Now i understand that the bike is made focussing more on the off roading aspect, but the seat could have been made a little more comfortable for the pillion. But again you can modify that if it really bothers you 3) The headlight, on the highway, even the old splendor's headlight shine out powers the xpulse's light! So hero should definitely work on that! In all the bike is a pleasure to have and fun to ride and at the price point ur getting the bike, nothing comes close for the kind of value it gives even after modifications it will still be cheaper than any other of its kind that are there in the market.

After seeing so much Xpulse videos, I can't stop myself to by this. But still mind is saying wait for Xpulse 300, but my HEART is saying forget the future & go for Xpulse 200.....& just Enjoy the BAD Roads...
The Xpulse 300 is atleast 2-3 years away. I would suggest you to listen to your heart.
Just love your content. Came across your video accidentally and got hooked to your channel. Honest, No nonsense, classy moto vlogger. Quality of the videos are simply great. Subscribed!
Thank you so much. Great to have you here
For a thinner exhaust, you can put the Adv 390's one, saw HDT customs guy do it, its not very loud and has a slim profile.
The best review i have ever seen on this bike so far.
I'm also done almost 6000kms and I'm so proud brother i choose the right motorcycle👍😉
Is it good for long rides
I too agree.... It is awesome bike.. I too own this bike
@@exploretheworld2forgetyourself Yeah bro but it depends upon you , If you are a solo rider with cruising speed of 80 to 100 its a good bike, I'm 60 kg so the seat is comfortable if you are big you just add little bit of foam you'll be good.
@@jokerbatman2476 I am 100 and 5.11
@@exploretheworld2forgetyourself its not a problem brother, my cousin is about 85 kgs and he loves to ride it and it suits him good, you like it just go for it.😉
I have around 5,00,000 km riding milage on Indian roads. Urban/rural/trail/highway/gravel/sand.
From expirence I can say my
number 1) preference is long/duel purpose suspension setup.
Number 2) is minimum 19inch front wheel & dual purpose tyres.
Number 3) comfortable seating position.
Number 4) is good handling/balance.
Number 5) is reliable & decent power engine.
After fulfilling my itch on sports bikes, cruisers, naked bikes, vintage bikes I've reached to the following conclusion-
1) sports/naked bikes are useless on Indian roads, suspension setup will sour your back within a year.
That will be amazing fun. I really want to take my Xpulse to Nepal. It would be really nice to ride there
Love from Rajasthan ♥️. You're making great content brother. Kudos to you! 🎉
Three things:
1) when you ride it on highway, you will surely feel the need of a sixth gear, which i feel hero should have thought about, since its a 200cc bike
2) The pillion seat! Now i understand that the bike is made focussing more on the off roading aspect, but the seat could have been made a little more comfortable for the pillion. But again you can modify that if it really bothers you
3) The headlight, on the highway, even the old splendor's headlight shine out powers the xpulse's light! So hero should definitely work on that!
In all the bike is a pleasure to have and fun to ride and at the price point ur getting the bike, nothing comes close for the kind of value it gives even after modifications it will still be cheaper than any other of its kind that are there in the market.
Definitely scope for improvement, but a welcome offering for Indian riders
About to buy this bike, love the way you explained. Thanks a ton!
Love from kerala ❤️
Thank you

The most needed the video for a very long time ❤️🎉🤠
'No problems'
For someone who rides an Enfield, this sounds impossible...
Hahaha. I can totally relate to that
Sometimes when I feel like traveling but cant due to situations I find myself watching your past travel vlogs. They always feel like one is there themselves.
Nice video as ever
Me too.
Thank you. Hope to hit the road again

Your way of narration was just astounding.. Congrats 👌👏
Having gone on a 2k km trip through Kerala last month, with an xpulse and a tb-500, I still enjoyed the tb, at the end of the day😂
Hi, great to hear that. Did you face any specific issue while riding that long? How much km you were able clock a day with xpulse? Thanks in advance.
For me, it's the opposite. Hahaha. Glad to be on an XPulse now
Man!!! I own TB350 and ridden more than 15k.....and when you said peaceful, I can literally feeling that how soothing it can be!! Can’t explain!!
Thanks for this lovely video!!
Hahahaha. Our heavily vibrated limbs are grateful for such peaceful riding conditions.
@@TollFreeTraveller The best part is I also bought Xpulse for the same reasons:
1) Reliable
2) Budget friendly
3) Good suspension
4) Less weight
5) I can go on like this when I will compare it TB
2:15 minutes just for the introduction😮wow.
