a lot of people gave The Incumbent a hard time because it was the most drum n bass/trance track SC ever put out. It was produced by Optical. I like it. Especially the one drum break.
I actually prefer this one over the El Oso one, when was this recorded? Like, 97’? Really late edit: duh this was recorded in 95’ and my sentiment still stands.
I've got a live version of this too, and it's called the incumbent. I think that the guitar in this song sounds the same of as the el oso version, and thats the only similarity.
They do have The one verse on this side the incumbent and who in quoth. There’s only one everything red sucker mouth. Those were added on lyrics to add to the white version along with all the lyrics on this one.

this is the very last their song i know about, but never heard. listening first time now, it rocks as always!
this is great. completely different pretty much.
surprised they didn't keep the lyrics considering the lack of lyrics on El Oso's version.
This was a great track done at I believe the North Sea Jazz Festival in Brussels Belgium.
@johnnygoldenkey It's found on the Amsterdam/Berlin "Live" album. You can find it on iTunes.
hate to say this but i think i like this beter than the el oso version. i bet it would have been fun live!!
Such a great riff.
this may be the "demo" if you're not into the sound of early version
I prefer this version much more.

the best-sounding (live) version of this is on 1995-07-25 - Mercury Lounge and it's available for free on archive.org/details/sc1995-07-25
Nice!
There is a live version on the Internet Archive. (Google it if you want it)
