When I did that final battle for the first time, Umaril dropped his sword below me and I started falling. Then, I slowly started falling faster than the sword, catching up to it. Well, as it turns out, the sword is a physics object, and you can land on it. You'll also likely be falling fast enough to take fall damage... After a final boss... I died, to fall damage, landing on the sword of a tough boss.
I was hoping you were going to say that as you fell, you caught up with the sword and caught it as Gandalf did in the Two Tower. Then when you caught up with Umaril you used that sword to kill him when he was unarmed. Would've been a cool way to kill him.
You can actually keep that sword if you catch it but you have to be fast enough to catch it I called it once it's way better than any sword in the game in my opinion but it's heavy so you can't carry much
it seems that no one has mentioned it here yet so... the prophet is talos. he gave you his blessing to defeat umaril. he did that for the nerevarine in morrowind as well. although i seem to remember having heard somewhere that they initially designed the prophet to be umaril in disguise.
You did end up losing some of your crusaders, they're replaced by the generic knights of the nine knights, and if you don't plan on using the crusaders gear you can put it on the stand in the priory basement. You should've grabbed umaril's sword but I think you can go back and grab it anyway, should still be there. Thank you for all the entertainment thus far Cantina :3
Yeah, it's to make it feel more complete. The generic knights are good bodyguards though, as they respawn and you don't lose another unique knight. The named knights can cast healing spells and stuff, so they're nice to have around, but there's also the risk of losing more of the original knights. If that doesn't bother you then feel free to do so, just thought I'd let you know!
Great video per usual. I was wondering if you had decided whether or not to play The Shivering Isles. If so I'm looking forward to it. Thank you for your time!
Hey man I really liked this mini series, however it does make me wonder. Does anyone actually know what happened to The Knights of The Nine between Oblivion and Skyrim? I don't mean just fan speculations but an actual official explanation. Did Bethesda ever address this or were The Knights forgotten, left by the wayside as they were just in the expansion pack?
+Shaun's Japanese I don't believe there is any explanation. That's kind of Bethesda's way though, they don't allude to really anything that happened in the previous game.
Well that's kinda sad. One of the things I really liked about Skyrim is that there were history books depicting events that happened in the time between the two games, so I thought that maybe they would at the very least have a book lying around Skyrim somewhere in which they wrote what happened to the Knights, but I guess not.
is it possible the prophet was a sort of physical representation sent by the 9 to find the crusader and when you succeed he disappears form reality because he never actually existed?
I'll just leave this one of a kind sword here while I make sure to weigh myself down with all of this everyday crap that is scattered around in every single ruin. 🙄
@@bunnitomoe3866 he's seriously underpowered tho! He's also carrying a metric shit ton of useless stuff which is why he's always over encumbered... So yea... he really doesn't know how to play.

He literally walked around mumbling to himself looking at things he couldn’t pick up bc he was already at max weight and let them fight every enemy, I was so pissed lol like dude, you finally do a cool quest with cool enemies and action and you spend the whole staring at the ground and running away
Flint Dances The Boots of Springheel Jack get destroyed when you escape the Imperial Palace after you steal the Elder Scroll so he shouldn’t have both.
If your acrobatics skill is high enough, you can actually survive the fall even without equipping the boots of springheel jack. I always kept them because it's really fun using them.
I console commanded in the elder scroll, the gray cowl, the arrow of Extrication,Savilla’s stone and the boots of Springheel jak just to display them in my house in Skingrad
Judas Iscariot - no worries my dude. It was a bit of a jest about the high difficulty of holding forward and mashing the attack button on a final boss.
Da Dom Bomb haven't played the game in years. as far as i remember its the exact opposite of skyrim. stealth the weakest, fighter good in prolonged fights, mages have crazy burst spells so you feel pretty op as a mage
Little did the divine crusader know- he still had yet to face his greatest foe, Umaril the Feathered

The fact that he does everything at night and never used a light making spell drives me insane, you can’t ever see anything

That priest guy the one you had to talk to to get the gauntlets got killed I think he got replaced lol
So when they say dark times to come I think he is talking about the high elves who banished the worship of talos
That always ground my gears playing Skyrim.
Like, you wanna tell a Knight of the Nine wielding all 8 +1 relics of the Divines that Talos ain't shit?
Excellent work! Hey if I was seeing right, You can get at least one or maybe more of these knights to follow you around! How cool is that?

This is what I wonder. Bethesda didn't say a thing, but I theorize that they were wiped out by the Thalmor. Seems very like them to do it.
nintendoboy17 probably because if you consider Creation Club canon, somehow a bandit was able to steal and use all the relics

Is this a lets play or a inventory management simulator
This is Oblivion, the game is an inventory simulator basically.
It’s his own fault. He refuses to level because he has no idea how to play.
He just didn't want the enemies to scale, Oblivion leveling is really stupid.

est way to go is run through hitting aurochs with para, and just keep rolling until final fight.
You forgot to induct Sir Brellin before the final battle. 😔 I know wood else are short but that doesn't mean they should be over *looked* . XD
Why you never use power attacks?
You can actually get Umaril's sword twice!
