Thank you for doing this nice and slow and explaining what you’re doing. It is most helpful. I wish all videos were like that especially when you’re going off of plans. Not everybody has built something before.
So glad I watched your video. My favorite style coop. There are many plans available out there but after watching this I’ll be buying these plans!! Is beautiful! Great job and thanks for sharing!!
I bought those same plans, can you maybe add up just what you bought.? I know you said you have some stuff already. I’m just trying to see if the materials are cheaper than buying the over EZ coop.
Sorry for the late reI have subscribed and liked some videos. I can build a chicken coop on my own, but your coop looks like something I would like to build. Sorry for not looking, but are there plans for this? if not not worries, you guys are doing a great job, I was just looking for some help. thanks guys.
I’ve read a lot that you should have minimum 3 square feet per chicken… 4 is ideal though. With the floor of this coop being 24 square feet it can hold between 6 chickens comfortably or 8 chickens that don’t mind being a bit cozier. This is not a rule… just something I’ve heard and read quite a few times.
This is my chicken coop too!
A nice build 👌

How many inches is the base width by length?
you changed your mind of the box and the opening is how the plans called for
about to build this same one, im going to use tin for the roof. shingles have a sht ton of chemicals that will leach into the water collection.
What is the link for this blueprint?
Found it from etsy
Hello I wonder what the ideal size would be for a 40-year-old chicken, European size in meters and centimeters, m/mm
Where did you get the list and blueprints from
Etsy
You got a link to that etsy page?
Please search coop expert on Etsy :)

Awesome!!
If you remember, how much did the materials cost?
I love this coop and it has a door! Where do I get the plans from? Do you think a woman could do this by herself? Ty

What changed your mind about the nesting box lid? I see you decided to go with what the plan called for instead of the drop down door.
He forgot, lol oh well.
Do you have a link for these plans?
We bought them off Etsy.

I want to say it was around $700 from our local Home Depot.
@@doubledranchmi01 Thank you so much. That is a lot cheaper.
We thought so too
Can someone provide a link to these plans please?
@@cycletim1 did you get these plans
Hellyeah ain't no point in getting a energy-efficient window when you didn't insulate the walls
Chickens don’t need insulation, we’re not raising no sissy chickens lol. Northern Michigan tough. They do get a heat light for night though.
Can we see the finished video of the coop? Love the extra touches you have incorporated to the plans.
I’ll see if I can make a short video soon
What is the overall height? I like this design and was wondering if it’s possible to downsize it and build it slightly smaller?
It is 69 inches from base to top. Not including the legs. I am sure if you did the math right it is possible.

Yes! They are on Etsy. :)
How much was the home depot bill just curious since I want to make this 🙂
Oh boy like $700 I can’t remember
@@doubledranchmi01 sounds good! Thanks for the reply!
If you put mothballs under it, it will keep the chicken snakes out
Thanks for the information 😍
@@doubledranchmi01 your welcome 🤗
Good! How many chickens will it host?
Thank you! The coop is 24 square feet of floor space with 5 nesting boxes.

We always go over, but they don’t seem to mind. I have a problem going into tractor supply
How can I access your drawings?
We bought the plans of Etsy
Bought from the coopexpert Etsy shop
So confusing
Aaron didn’t find it confusing at all
