If something is not being bought as much and they have to throw a lot out they loose profit so less will be produced. Great question! In buying the meat, or eating the meat that your mom makes you, you're incentivizing someone to either buy meat or kill an animal. In giving them your money, you are asking farmers to kill animals. That's why if meat is leftover and no one else will eat it, I eat the meat.

My sister was vegetarian for about a year, but she was always tired. She started getting headaches. I’m pretty sure and she just didn’t have enough energy so she switched to being pescatarian which is you don’t eat meat, but you eat fish and then she started eating chicken again and now she’s starting to get back into red meat with more protein. That’s why eating meat is important and drinking milk and other foods with high protein in them or something else is very important
