I know this was a year ago, but considering he himself struggled with an ED, Ben’s a lot stronger and more mature than I am, because the minute TVT called EDs “thinking disorders”, I probably would’ve screamed at her or slapped her.
The Uber driver was so polite he said ma’am I don’t wanna get into this discussion. And then stopped talking, respect.

As a Muslim, that part in the video really hits home. The cab driver didn’t want to explain, but I would be happy to explain why we don’t eat pigs. We don’t eat pigs because they roll around in mud and are dirty, has nothing to do with veganism. Also yes Muslims can be vegan it says nowhere in the Quran that we can’t. But at Arab gatherings 75% of the food has meat in it and like 90% of it isn’t vegan at all! So it’s pretty hard to be vegan as a Muslim. But if you are vegan it’s your choice and I’m not trying to degrade you! This is just an explanation that he didn’t want to say which I totally understand! It’s his privacy!

Can't believe im only just watching this a year later. You did an amazing job ben! Your video definitely shows both sides of the argument. By all means there are parts of your time with the vegan teacher that truly show the goodness in her heart and the message she is trying to spread. However we all see the awkwardness, aggression and lack of respect that has garnered the negative responses too. I myself got a little triggered at her occasional hypocrisy, like when shes in the shopping cart mimicing whiping motions at you - something i think she'd criticise if she'd seen in someone else's video - as well as comments like "dairy is disgusting in someone's body", obviously not accounting for lactating women who produce dairy, and the offence to the religion of that poor taxi driver who was nothing but accommodating until he felt the need to set some boundaries (which were ignored). Truly insightful into part of the vegan teacher's life and who she is as a person

I just watched the whole video and I gotta say:
• Ben was very respectful to her, even if she was pissing him off and making him feel all types of things. He was a good guest and to be honest, he didn’t shine her in a bad light, he didn’t say anything really rude about her, and didn’t try to push her as this big mean rude old woman.
• Mrs Kadie seems like she is a person who genuinely cares so, so much for the animals, and I don’t think she realizes that what she’s doing is wrong. She does realize that it immensely bothers people, but I think her perspective is that she has to be like this person who pushes people to the limits and offend people just to prove the point.
• This video was very well thought out, with almost no jokes, showing that Ben wasn’t trying to make a fool of her, or make fun of her at all.
• What I think is that Kadie seems like a misunderstood person who does drastic things to prove her point and feelings about being vegan, because she cares so deeply about the animals, which I can get. But it doesn’t mean that she should offend all sorts of people and make them feel uncomfortable and violated in any way.

re-watching this a year later is so interesting. you can tell that she DOES hold a lot of empathy, she just doesn't hold it where she should. of course it's important to respect animals; but you should also hold that respect for other humans. its that simple.

as a muslim, watching that uber part made me feel uncomfortable myself, especially how she was telling the uber driver abt our religion when she doesn’t know it well, i’m so glad that ben acted so calm in that situation, she even shoved the camera at his face like what…i’m so glad ben respects our religion

I love how Ben was polite and good guest -- Obviously discussed some of the..more confronting (Inappropriate things) about Miss Kadie throughout the video BUT also showed the really upbeat and positive individual that she is. Does she say horrible things? Yes. Does she know what she's doing? Probably not -- Or at least she doesn't understand. I loved seeing the wholesome clips of her running through the snow and in the grocery cart, singing, etc. Those were lovely. That showed a nice woman who enjoys the life she lives --- Instead of some hateful vegan online attacking influencers. Would like to see more of that. She's a nice person-- She can be. The world shouldn't hate her -- Just the things she says. She needs to learn.

If she criticized me for being a Christian and for me explaining that in many instances in the Bible, God (After the Flood) says he made animals for us to eat ( example- Genesis 9:3) I would be hurt and would defend Christianity and my relationship with Christ and obedience to his laws. Seriously, because with Ben while feeding her dog she was so sweet, out side of the eating disorder comment. I wish she could just respect others and not force people to eat, she’s so sweet but the fact she attacks people for not being vegan and such.

the fact that ben was so kind to her and didn't say his actual thoughts through all the times she was overstepping or acting CRAZY really shows how respectful and good this man is. he tried to match her vibe every time and didn't say any offensive things, something many of us probably couldn't do. thank you for being an amazing person ben:) also his little giggles I love him 😭😭

I dunno if I would call it respectful... If Ben had voiced his inner thoughts she would've a. toned it down a lot b. refused to continue filming or c ( what I find most likely ) got into an argument with him... none of these things would've helped the video. It wasn't out of respect to her that he didn't voice them. If that was the case he wouldn't have posted this for everyone to see, including her. You can also tell by watching the video that she trusted him... One example is the part where she asks him to pretend that he found her the giraffe blanket thing. You can tell that she genuinely thought he would edit it like she had suggested. I'm not a fan of the vegan teacher. I love Bens videos. I found this video interesting. However, this was definitely a backstaber at the Vegan Teacher. A big one. Does she deserve it? I dunno. It's definitely going to blow up for Ben though....
