As someone who has taken ballet classes with the same teacher most of my life, I really feel his pain when she was yelling at him and being so mean. 😭💔 I know exactly what that feels like and it's the worst. Taking dance classes should be a fun and positive experience, not one that makes you wanna cry every time you show up. My teacher would specifically pick on me (I guess because I'm shy and it made me an easy target?) and a few years ago while practicing for a recital, she kept stopping the music out of nowhere to yell at me in front of the whole class and try to force me to do something ridiculous that had absolutely nothing to do with the dance. I stood up for myself (I never yelled though and honestly barely even talked) which made her more angry so she kicked me out of class. Then as I'm walking out, she has the nerve to say "You're not respecting me." I was so mad and heartbroken that I cried while waiting for my mom to show up and take me home. And as I'm crying, I hear the teacher tell the girls something and basically shaming me. That was the last time I was at that ballet studio. Never went back since then and I never will. I was already being emotionally abused at home from my alcoholic dad so it didn't help to be abused at ballet class too 💔
