@fairygodbrotherr not necessarily. When I choreograph, I'm thinking about who is going to be performing it, and what their technical level is - I'm not going to put in skills I know my dancers can't execute well. I also consider the technical execution of linking one step to the next. Just because I want to choreograph a saute, roll to the floor, kick up, double pirouette doesn't mean the music allows for the to be technically executed in a clean, cohesive way. In Abby's words, I have to "be a smart dancer" and know when aesthetics have to be traded in favor of technique. Because a clean, simple dance is better than a flashy, messy one.

@@mc-rn8ro True, but if you've seen any of the girls more darker dances then you can see she has some skills in choreography. I never thought she had bad choreography, it just seems very repetitive.
To be quite honest, her choreography is repetitive and looks exactly like ever generic contemporary dance at competitions. Her tap dances lack a *lot*, particularly in variation of rhythm, and she's seemingly highly under qualified to choreograph much else (example: hip hop and ballet). I wouldn't call her a good choreographer by any means.
@@Izzy-cp8yt I agree, I also want to mention that there's probably a reason she became a dance teacher instead of becoming a professional dancer herself. Although, I don't think people should bully her for her dancing skills and it doesn't look like she was trying hard in whatever dance this was.

Abby confirmed in a podcast or interview (I don’t remember) that she was actually dancing frl she was just doing a completely crazy dance to make sure the stage lights could show the dancers which is why she kept moving everywhere and going all over the place, to make sure the dancers talents are seen but don’t forget, being a talented dancer and a talented choreographer is different (a quote from Abby Lee miller herself💪)

Credit to how much of an amazing teacher she is now. She learnt her craft to the nail & has taught thousands of children across the world. I mean who else do we really even know as a famous kids dance teacher? She is the best although demands high standards the moms are responsible for their kids when they take them classes not Abby. Abby is fulfilling her role of giving her customers excellent results for their money. She deserves some respect
Y’all why you hating on her? She’s a dance teacher not a dancer. She was made for choreography and it’s a passion of hers. Even though she was a little rude at times she rlly loved the kids and just wanted them to perform their best which is the best kind of teacher even if she took it far at times. Why talk acting like that was one of her solos? Firstly, as an adult I don’t think anyone would still be good at dancing especially with her weight gain (No hate but seriously on the topic) and secondly; she might’ve been bad but do you see how she gave so many people amazing career’s?
