Even though this isn’t a diorama, I would’ve loved to have a quote plaque with Sallah’s iconic line-“Very dangerous. You go first.”
I thought something similar. I would've loved for this to have a plaque. My thought was "Snakes. Why did it have to be snakes?"
I feel like Lego have put themselves into a tight place with the plaques on dioramas needing quotes. Some scenes are iconic but don't have memorable lines. Like the golden idol diorama. That's an iconic scene but the quote is pretty forgettable
I'd rather not give Lego any excuse to make this a diorama and thus turn it into an overpriced 18+ set at $80-$90; that's why there were reports that were worried this would be that much. It was probably tied into the fact that this is a similar overall size to the overpriced Death Star Trash Compactor set from last year.
I remember playing the first Lego Indiana Jones set on my DS and this particular level has a special place in my heart ❤️
These sets all look so good. Whatever the heck is happening with the Temple of Doom, at least the other three are all priced really well and look like super solid sets. I can't wait to pick all of them up.
In the original set of this scene it came with a hieroglyph sticker of r2-d2 and c3-p0, I'm so glad they included again

This set will always be "The Well of Souls" to me.
The only Indiana Jones set I own is the 2008 Escape from the Lost Tomb, I can't wait for this release. Great review.
I think this set is really good for it's price. Also with four minifigures. But I feel like they should've made it a little more expensive and made the back of the set more detailed. It just feels incomplete
An ok set, which is worth buying for the minifigures... the Ark should have used a gold brick.
I remember when I was little and I wanted a Indiana Jones set, cause I had just seen the first movie. But my parents would not allow me to get one, so I am really happy to be able to finally get an Indiana Jones figure.
I like the set very much, i wanna buy it when it comes out and the set realy has a story.

The only thing I don't like about the Mummy are the arms it's just wrong color everything else is perfect tho so is the rest of the set
Fun fact: According to the Bible, the Ark of the Covenant had the 10 Commandments within them (along with other objects).

Why does the base of the archway (where the ark rests) has technic pieces on the side? Are those holes meant to be used for something? Snakes maybe?

No idea where to put it and not fond of all the stickers, but love the figures and price. Just ordered more snakes.

Thank you for indicating the 40 bucks price tag. MnRProductions did his review saying he had sources saying it was 80 bucks and that he would update if the price was different(he hasn't indicated the 40 bucks price tag).
I would be curious to see if anyone will mod this to make it better.

I don't know which one to get. I love the figures from this set but I like the build of the fighter plane set. I think the fighter plane set is an overall better looking set

Lego has been doing a better job of giving figures a barefoot look these days, like with the recent versions of Rapunzel and Moana.
The solution is to use WD40 on the side

Don't think so. Still never watched the movie
I really like the mummy, but the rest of the set isn't doing it for me. A lot of it feels too simple, but also the colors are all wrong for me. That scene in the movie was really dark while everything in this set is really bright. Also not a big fan of the classic Lego snakes.
I think it needs more 🐍
This set is decent but it's not the best and definitely not the worst.

Speed champion uses it and it a playset not a usc or if printed gonna cost more
