hello friend, if I use a 27t pinion in the 124017 v2 the engine will have the strength to push more final speed, since the 124017 is heavier than the 144010, have you tried this set at 1:12?
Hi mate thanks for watching. Honestly I did not expect to go so fast with 144010, stock motor 4200kv and 27t pinion. I expected cogging, but indeed I did not experience. 124017 is heavier and with the v1 motor 3400kv there was lot of cogging. Theoretically with a 4200 kv motor it should be much worse, but I didn't try with this model so I can't ensure it will work. I am not pretty confident it will, but you could try, being carefull not to overheat motor and esc. Just for speed runs probably you won't experience such evident cogging, but on bashing no way, don't do that.
Hello, you just need to heat it with fire, such as a gas lighter. The loctite is pretty much and hard, so you need to heat a lot and turn the screw driver both direction to loosen the screw until it gets unstuck.
Yes mate exactly. The original 144010 motor mounts has the holes for 19t stock pinion and 27t option pinion for a 2845 size motor. Just watch the picture in the intro of the video and match your motor mount. It should have the same holes geometry.

@@bengilbert31 Thanks a lot Ben, I apprechate it. I am still testing the bottom of the front wing profile to create more downforce at higher speed. No back flipping so far, but I need to push further (80+ mph). I think I will release it in the next days if it gives me good results. You can check on: cults3d.com/en/users/ViCatRC/creations
Hi mate, with this setup you can run a couple of consecutive rips, then you need to cool down the motor. For sure, this setup it's suited just for speed runs. Not suggested at all for bashing.
Nice, thanks for sharing Sir👍
Hey hi !! Thanks for all these clarifications and details 👍🏾👍🏾💯!!
ITS DONKEY TIME 🍆🫵🏿😡
These really are a great deal for the money. I just bought a new one with 2 LiPo’s for $53.
Absolutely. This is actually my favourite wltoys car. Such a shame for the boring throttle delay otherwise it would have been perfect.
@@ViCatRC back it up when you turn on the control, the problem ends.

Hey question what motor mount will fit the 27 pinion please because I don't think they hve the specific one u showed in your video ..
Awesome vid! Just bought this RC car. Can you share a link for the 27T pinion part? Thanks!
Burn up your engine battery boy
Great video! I would like to know how much faster would it be on foam tires?
Thanks for watching. I guess with foam tires it would be more stable but top speed would be lower due to the smaller diameter of tires.

The grub screw is very tight on the original pinion. How’d you get it removed?
Hello, you just need to heat it with fire, such as a gas lighter. The loctite is pretty much and hard, so you need to heat a lot and turn the screw driver both direction to loosen the screw until it gets unstuck.
I need those spoilers. Link, please.

@eddiespectral I normally print in PLA but the front spoiler is even possible to print in tpu.

Any idea where I could find the exact 27t ?
Sorry mate, I just removed it from my old 124017 v1. Depending on where you live there are some options like amazon, bangood, aliexpress.
So the 124017 motor mount can work right
The stock gear, is it plastic or metal?
Plastic.

What is the discharge current of 2s lipo battery??
The stock 2200ma 2s lipo should be around 25C.

hi bud will i need a bigger motor for 27t or i can use stock based on the mounts ?
Thanks mate and sorry for the delay. With stock 4300kv motor you could experience some cogging even if I didn't.
I bought a 5900kv motor for 18 bucks . I hit 77 mph now
What pinion module?
Stock motor 4300kv and 27t pinion. Just for speed runs. Not suggested for bashing.
I would like to buy one of those front aero parts. Where can i buy from?
