I really like the song, but it's interesting to hear how sloppy these guys actually were at that time. The drummer has problems keeping time, and the guitar playing is hardly impressive as well. We know such things are usually buried in the mix and Radiohead improved over time, but still.
Man, that's one shitty drummer. Either that or he couldn't play with and/or hear the "click" track to well. He's dragging the rhythm every few measures sometimes.

You're right, but it could be deliberate. Drummers will vary tempo sometimes for special effect.
