This sensor system attaches to your golf grip and will track your club stats such as how far you hit each club on average and where your common mishits are.
It shares a bunch of useful info and would be a useful tool for anyone who struggles with distance control.

Welcome to Out Of Bounds Golf. My name is Jon and I'm just an average golfer making videos on the internet. What you'll see here are videos on different golf products and we'll be trying to figure out what works the best for the average hacker.
We'll be doing product reviews, comparisons between two similar products, the best gear for different types of players, and maybe we'll just play a round of golf.
I've been playing golf on and off for a number of years now but have become a lot more consistent over the past couple of seasons. Not long ago I was shooting somewhere around 100 and playing "out of bounds" golf way too often.
I've consistently broken 90 now and am working on breaking the 80 mark. My best round to date was 84 on a par 72 and my best 9 holes were 4 over.

Can you use the ct10 and just the Garmin golf app? So no garmin watch or other garmin device?

How would I use this at a driving range? I have the S20 and looking to purchase the ct10. Will it track each club I use if I do not select a course?

It's not going to work at the range. You need to be able to walk to where your ball is and take a second shot to get all the data.

Giveaway. Have Garmin venu. Works pretty well. The thing I'm looking for is tracking approach. Ordered the 3 pack for wedges and putter. It should do a much better job when it can track the putter. Without the sensor, it basically doesn't track the last shot on to the green.

I don't really get it. My mate has an S60 and get's all this data without the CT10... What does it actually give you in addition to the built in S60 club tracking?

In my opinion, it's probably not worth it if you have the s60. The main thing is you don’t have to choose your club afterward on every shot and it makes things a little more automatic.

@@outofboundsgolf so the sensors don't actually sense anything really? I expected them to have gyros and accelerometers in them. That's way too much money to spend just to help the process. Thanks for the info man

Well, it tracks your entire round, how far you hit each club, where your common misses were, fairways/greens in reg, etc. Some of the cheaper watches can't record this but the S60 is pretty advanced and can do quite a bit.

I would quibble with a 9 for ease of use and only buy them if you have a good understanding of technology and can work your way round devices without clear instructions on how to use features beyond basic features.
