Our Sunday gospel lessons are becoming more and more like that. Terrestrial. Deep thought provoking amazing discussions.
As a temple worker I am so impressed by the members who have increased temple attendance. Not only that but when I assist at the veil almost everyone knows the words, signs and tokens and procedure at the veil. I work on Tuesday evenings and in the past we often had to place temple workers to fill the prayer circle. Not anymore, we seem to have an abundance of members filling the temple in every ordinance needed ❤️

❤Speaking of miracles, I have had two in the last week and a half. The Lord has heard my cries. I only get to the temple once a year with an attendant which is needed My heart longs for the joy, purity, refreshing, and feeling the presence of angels. It gives me strength to carry on for another year. The ministering brother that brings the sacrament to me helps me carry on too.
I pray for you! For angels to attend you. For you to feel their presence and to KNOW God's love!
May I relate an experience? My daughter was flying in with her son (who was going to the MTC) It was a quick trip as hubby and other children were gone for a national competition. They had animals who would need care so she could only stay for 3 days. You cannot get into our temple without reservation for anything but endowment (because it is so busy). My temple partner and I always schedule 4 weeks out after each weekly visit. We did so not knowing my daughter would be coming. When she arrived I was lamenting that we didn't have reservations for her to join us in sealings and endowment. Well strangely enough, when I checked our schedule I discovered that somehow I had been scheduled for sealings TWICE on the same day. So we were all 3 able to attend . Coincidence? Nope, celestial intervention. Oh and she had managed with limited space to bring her temple clothes in case we could get in, and I had a dress for her to wear.. Little things like this tell me angels are working for and with us.

Why can't they just be more flexible about appointments though? When I go in lately, they seem to not be flexible. if its the Lord's house there should be SOME flexibility. Although I do understand that scheduling helps them manage staff. Why is not not flexible anymore?
Also, I wanted to share this that I run a business and also help with my husband‘s businesses so we have two businesses and he works also full-time at the Las Vegas Temple as well. And so we have been trying to transition to focus on Christ world the saviors world. I remembered that back in 2020 during women’s conference. They told us that we couldn’t plant our feet in both worlds. We needed to decide which world we were going to stand in. A matter fact, this has been said many times before, I thought this was amazing because my son has a gift like me and when he was working and he was in a bad situation at the time in an active And Church and Clear praying for help that world are you going to choose and right after that, the talk was given at conference. It was just amazing to me. I feel like right now that, Lucifer is trying to overwhelm us in this world so we don’t focus on the terrestrial world and our saviors world who is here building and growing so fast people are changing so fast and things are happening so fast. And we can focus on what’s happening we can see that Lucifer always going to fall short. And miracles Amazing miracles are now happening. Every week I fight to get to the temple my goal is three times a week and it is so hard whether it is getting attacked through my illness that I have to enter or being overwhelmed with my business. It is a battle now. It is a spiritual battle. But we have to be determined and not lose focus on which we are going to choose to stand now.
We are so blessed to have the Temple to help us make this transition 💗

Words, experiences and thoughts you both shared are the exact things that have been impressed on my heart too. I’ve had ‘all my things taken away’ as a recent widow. He has put me in a place to truly progress to a next level. I am at the place to take unprecedented measures to prepare myself with the remaining time I have (since my husband has already crossed the veil.) I am so grateful for your testimony Matt. Yes, many are receiving the blessing of the knowledge of God. They are seeking and receiving the more sure word of prophecy (and beyond). The promise of Eternal Life is given to be an anchor to our souls for the trials and tribulations we will go through. Receiving this promise from the Lord allows us to enter into His Rest while still living in the Telestial world. The oppositions and difficulties do not go away. But receiving this promise, we overcome the things of this world and they have no power over us. We can have Peace in all circumstances. We can enter into the Terrestrial world.

The Lamanites were going to kill any Nephite who is found to be praying out loud with their voices to God. So because of these dangerous circumstances they had to pray silently in their hearts to God so their enemies could not hear what they were saying. And that protected them from being killed..
Not only is it happening (terrestrial living/communion with church of the firstborn), but many times the people who are experiencing it are mispercieved as not doing well or it's hidden because they don't measure up to the world's standards of success... these would make the best leaders in our congregations but remain unnoticed much to our disadvantage. They may have tattoos because they are newer to the covenant path than we, or they may be single, or live paycheck to paycheck- So often in our world spiritual success and financial success get confused. It's easy to do it- i see it happen all the time and have done it myself-Our eyes mislead us unless we are vigilant to have the kind that "see"...I have to ask the Lord daily to help me be aware of the angels in my midst!

Also regarding fairytales... it seems important to ask the Holy Ghost to help with the interpretation of how the fairytale plays out and who the characters are... our telestial lense can throw us off and that is where I think people get thrown off... for instance, the Savior is the prince and we are all Cinderella! This is not about romance and prince who saves a woman with money! It's the Savior and He makes us k8ngs and queens spiritually over all He has ... maybe the helenistic concept of romance will be part of what the Lord gives you too, but maybe not and it's our loyalty to Him that makes the glass slipper fit or feet... I chuckle as I type this, at how many misinterpretations I have fallen into, and the opportunity to misinterpret what I mean when I say both men and women are Cinderella😅 we are so easily thrown off track...I can see why the Savior said the road is narrow, we can be led into strange paths so easily!!! Anyway, thank you dear Randy, your podcast is always really helpful to me... (and thank you for mentioning the meditation prompting... that was an answer to prayer too😊)
@@motherearth9290 Meditation has played a key role in opening the windows of Heaven. It makes me to a place where the dysfunctions and limitations of the mortal body have no effect. The spirit can enter a holy of holies of sorts and can receive light and truth at higher levels!🔥🔥

I need to save this, and study this. Over and over again things came up in this video one after another of what I’ve felt and thought and wondered and pondered and encountered and experienced and desired, sooo many wonderful things! I need to do this.
One thing I saw, I just learned that Enoch loved his home has filled his force to be there in his gardens, his city, and all that was there in, and he translated it all that he loved with him. I was caught by this because it didn’t say the Lord translated him, but he translated him. Father has given us the power to do this and you’re right we don’t understand the power that we have, here’s also my profit of God shows the Fielding Smith that said that exalt ourselves. So Matt is correct. We are holding herself back. We need to go to the Lord we were made for this time. It is time for us to fully awaken. Many of us. Think we’re awake. We’re not even awake yet until we realize our full potential and we are to be and we are already translated then we truly are fully awake Here Joseph Smith.

Getting ready for church and here lately I’ve just been so excited because what I have seen that is going on is getting me so excited. And on top of it, I have been bouncing around like the energizer bunny and everybody’s asking me why. I know that he father has a room for the righteous and it is in the Scriptures. We just weren’t paying attention and we didn’t understand his language yet. And I do know that he is letting us know the set times and dates of everything so that we are definitely prepared to help ourselves, but to help others around us even more. So when I saw my favorite two peopleon RUclips get together to do this. You just made my entire day. I just shared it out with everybody in my entire group.

What did you mean by the father has a room for the righteous, and it being in the scriptures? Can you elaborate on that further?
Simple answer to your question is.... YES!!! If you and I are desirous to be with God we need to live in such a way that we are spiritual and emotionally leaving the Telestial worl behind even if we have to continue physically living in it. We need to find ways to tune out the Telestial world. We need to seek after the best gifts God is offering us in this world. If we live a simple life, share the gospel, and seek the Lord we will achieve a more calm and Christ centered life. It is nice to have things that make us more comfortable in this fallen world, but it ultimately will not bring us true joy and fulfillment. I only desire to have enough financially to provide the necessities of life. Beyond that my only desire is to have joy in my Savior and family. Ultimately wealth and power gets them a plot of ground in the earth that is the same as yours and mine. We should use any abundance we have to serve our Savior in his work of saving souls. I love my Savior and my desires are simple. I so desire for the coming of our Savior and the Second Coming. I seriously feel I don't belong in this world. I love Spencer W. Kimball and what he has shared with us.

When you get nailed with hard trials I feel like I flounder because I am still being refined. I certainly desire to leave this world behind. We are an older couple and work at the Temple and also attend to do our own family work each week more than once, our neighbors are not interested in being friendly and we are unfortunately very far from all our children and grandchildren which brings us much joy. We went through some tough days this last week, when I was faced with another annoying little trial which lead us to the Angel who finally helped my husband. Prayer and desire to realize things that need to change within ourselves allowed us to be lead to follow the steps that lead to the Angel who finally could help at no cost when we had been sent away by so many earlier that were not willing to help.

I can’t remember what general authority said it but as soon as you start to pray the adversary leaves. You are calling on Heavenly Father, the adversary had to leave.

Great discussion! I do believe that we should be striving to live the CELESTIAL laws of we want to establish Zion:
D&C 105:5-"And Zion cannot be built up unless it is by the principles of the law of the celestial kingdom; otherwise I cannot receive her unto myself"
The Prophet recently counseled us to "THINK Celestial". So if our desires to become Zion are accompanied with celestial thoughts, eventually celestial actions with follow. Only when enough of the Saints are doing this within their own hearts and establishing this within their own families will Zion finally be able to be built. When enough of us are striving to live the CELESTIAL laws with Jesus Christ as our Examplar and King.

I sincerely think the Lord through His Prophet is guiding us "up" to the Terrestrial sphere of existence in preparation for His Second Coming. He's building more Temples. We are being instructed to make our homes like unto the Temple, I.E. a Holy place. We are seeing changes to make our chapels more Holy and revenant. In fine, we are being enabled to "stand in Holy places and be not moved out!"
Those of us who are thinking celestial aren't waiting for the actual second coming. We're looking for Christ now! After all, we won't be observing the second coming from the ground. We will be coming with Him! How wonderful is that?!

Definitely, we are to do our best to live celestial laws, which consecration and charity importantly represent, to be able to live in the terrestrial sphere that is the Millennium. The New Jerusalem and Jerusalem will require the celestial living, the sphere is what is terrestrial, which sphere we can live in now (the subject of this discussion). There will be those who have not yet achieved that but have the terrestrial, and that will be the missionary work early in the millennium!

Just started this episode but wanted to break and say the name of thst book is "The Heavenly Man". A phenomenal book, even if a little hard to take at times. I've not heard of any other story as dramatic as this about a life of discipleship and giving your WHOLE LIFE to God and being willing g to sacrifice and endure SO much! It's a humbling read for sure! You can get it free on Audible
I agree. The Book was life changing. It seemed like a Chinese version of the Book of Mormon
A few things I wanted to share, when you said those people around us who have had manifestations we always think of as super righteous spiritual giants like President Nelson but it also happens to every day people also, and to some people we would think not. Remember Jesus communed with the Samaritan woman at the well and publicans and sinners. He will manifest himself to whomever He will based on their faith. I don’t really share my spiritual experiences that often because occasionally when I have thought someone was righteous and would understand and it be faith building to share sometimes have been the most unbelieving and scoffing or don’t understand or think it possible especially for someone like me just a regular sister/mom in the gospel to have had those experiences. Also I would say sometimes Angels communicate differently to different people based on their spiritual gifts. For some they may actually hear a voice or see an Angel for others they do communicate spiritually, some people can feel their emotions such as their joy when an ordinance has been performed for them or feel their presence. I think it is important not to discount someone else’s experience because it was different than our own. Spiritual experiences are often hard to explain, express or quantify. Joseph Smith said about receiving D&C 76 “that whether in the body or out he did not know. “

There are quite a few of us out here and I feel like we’re talking long distance because we’re surrounded by people that are not awake yet but we know that we have been told That not everyone would be awakened. I have a question for both of you guys. I am a convert and since I was young, I had always wanted to go where Adam would return and it wasn’t until I joined the church that we found out where
that place was which is a much different place than we had thought of. But I found out that my ancestors graveyards
are from 29 miles from Adam Ondi Alman and there is a graveyard of my grandmother
also, the Colliers graveyard is 54 miles from there. So I’ve always loved it over there. But I kept noticing that you guys keep talking about going to Davies county and then I realized wait a second it’s Jackson county that the capital city of Zion is. And I prayed to father in heaven, and I was then shown his messages to the Saints or warnings to be patient and that the Saints that were called and pure in heart would come from the west to the east to rebuild Zion there. but when they go there would be no opposition and that the houses would be me desolate. So the houses will be still standing but desolate which means no violent tornado or no nuclear bomb I thought. I would wonder what made it desolate and everyone leaves. Sounds like this is probably after the time of the great earthquake. But my heart still goes towards Adam Ondi Ajman. I heard that you would be going back there. Where is your heart leaning toward and I wonder why my heart is leaning towards there now and not independence yet?

Thank you for this spiritual survival episode. I've been trying to figure out what my purpose is, but I've suffered so much, mentally especially, and physically, but haven't understood how to heal to progress. I live close to the Taylorsville Temple, so I want to attend more. I haven't had revelation even those I've tried to be holy, study my scriptures, and pray fervently. I've had a terrible time suffering, but I've been wanting to serve my Lord. I love the Book of Mormon and the words of the Lord. I've had much opposition and loss in my life, but the Lord told me I'd be tested. I thought that's all my life was, and I've wondered why my Father in Heaven and Lord haven't responded. I love my children deeply, but they need help with their faith, even though I taught them. My husband abused me, and after almost ten years, the Lord told me it was time to leave, even though I was married in the Salt Lake Temple. Maybe I need more faith and hope to change my situation. I won't be able to do anything without the Lord's help. The evil one has tried countless times to hurt me. I've had battles to overcome. I've begged for my Lord's help, but I'm not sure why I've felt so alone. I hope I can do what He wants. The world means nothing. I just want to serve Him. Thank you for your thoughts. They helped me. To sacred to express. This is a very sensitive subject. I think part of this world is totally tellestial, and parts are working and shifting into terrestrial. I believe and know angels are walking among us, and the Christ. And we can see and hear and converse and know as we are known. The heavens are already open.. we can receive as fast as we want to and seek these blessings. God loves us and will converse directly with us. Priesthood power is now and can be handled upon the proper principles and miracles are the norm. Hallelujah to God and the Lamb. BTW.. Im back as a temple worker again.. 2 days a week.. and an assistant supervisor.. I am the trainer on one of my shifts. As I have been training, even more visions and knowledge have been opened to my mind. It has been such a blessing. So grateful.

Jesus is here and very active in our lives. I have seen his face and I do know that he is who he is. He is approachable and very kind. He is a big part of my life. In the Spirit is exactly how it is done. Ask and ye shall receive. He stands at the door and knocks. Open the door. This world is smoke and mirrors but God's world is real. Think Celestial and become Celestial. What you think about becomes you. "Nothing shall be withheld from the saints." The Earth according to Eliza R Snow hymn has "been torn asunder piece by piece". You could say the people of Enoch and the lost 10 tribes are upon the face of the Earth. Also, the in that verse it talks about Power descending, when the 10 tribes return they will be coming with great power.

Could this be why the endowment no long includes the turning on of "greater" light when we enter the Terrestrial world....because when we enter the doors or even the grounds of the Temple we're entering a Terrestrial world? I'm wondering why this change in the Temple...I sorta always liked that feeling when more light came on when it was said we're entering the Terrestrial world. Also, I can surely relate to the 3 Nephites who would not sorrow except for the sins of the world...I think that's the main sorrow I feel...sorrow for the sins of the world...and it can be quite overwhelming at times! I can joy in the gospel of Jesus Christ & strive to see others (who are confused as Matt said) as He does, but it is certainly an EXERCISE! I really appreciate this podcast and the encouragement to press forward, more focused on the progress I can tap into &, develop more Priesthood power, ministering of angels and longingly to walk with Him more nearly, love Him more dearly & hear His voice more clearly. Finally, I too know that God, Christ Jesus The Holy Spirit have the power to change our hearts, our feelings, even our attitudes & sorrow...I've experienced this, where a feeling of peace & divine understanding have just come into my heart & mind...involuntarily it seemed...a real gift of experiencing His love & power. I imparted my experiences in a lds fb page and I was attracted for it.
So I've concluded that the gospel principles is misinterpreted in respect of the assumption that one has to wait until after this life to experience the aspects of the spiritual attributes of the different degrees.
And the belief that one must be in the general authorities to be able to experience some things.

Most likely the case, however Lazarus died also. There were dozens and dozens who received the promise of translation at the beginning of this dispensation and being here in mortality yet at the coming of the Savior. Yet to telestial Records they passed away. I personally believe that this is likely the pattern for many who are foreordained to this, so that they may be gone with explanation to mortals. There are things in the book of Mormon to indicate they are three others though. I don’t think we know this for sure, however.

Many of us live long distances from a temple. You make it sound like that is the only way to become better, almost like bragging. We don't all have the blessing of being able to see the temple from our window. Only in Utah....

I was reading the word of wisdom by happen stance while studying about sanctification. And it got me thinking about how there are also levels in which we take care of our body. Doing whatever we want with our body is obviously telestial. Drinking smoking tattoos etc. Thinking that we are living the word of wisdom by not drinking coffee and such is only really like a terrestrial level. If we want to treat our bodies like a temple then we really got to read what it is actually saying to do. It says to eat meat sparingly. It says to use herbs for health and healing. It says wheat is to be our staple along with fruits and veggies. I don’t know about you all but I definitely eat too much processed food and don’t exercise. I realize I’m not really living celestial or following the word of wisdom like I thought I was. And the promises are very great if we do. It all but says we will be spared from the great plagues created by the secret combinations for living this principle. Having a healthy body is one of the best ways to receiving greater spiritual enlightenment. The body and the spirit are the soul of a man after all. So eat celestial 😝

Aren't we sub telestial ? We haven't been assigned a kingdom of glory yet.
The temple teaches that the world we're born into is the telestial world. But we have the option of ascending to the terrestrial by coming into a New Covenant relationship with Jesus Christ and being born again. Then through faithfulness to higher Covenants we can Ascend to an everlasting Covenant with the father which is celestial. At the final judgment we will receive a kingdom to dwell in based on our covenant state of being.
As long as you don't follow the anti Christ.
