couldn’t be further from the truth. Peach in Melee doesn’t have to play fucking finger Twister in order to do basic tech like DJC. Ultimate just took out all of the cool stuff from Brawl and Melee, but made shit like buffered full hop aerials and DJC aerials a hassle just to input. Ultimate really dropped the ball on movement in general, but the sheer existence of things like this or IDJ aerials should tell you what a train wreck basic options have become.
@@dumithegreat3892 that's a super negative way to view it especially when Ultimate is more user friendly than Melee. You're saying movement but really you mean tech skill

this video finally pushed me over the edge to start labbing for an hour a day and now my JCFFs are super consistent! thanks for them most thorough Peach tutorial i've ever seen!
Amazing video! One of my favourite applications of JCFF that you didn't mention is when the opponent is in disadvantage above you. You can bait them into airdodging by jumping up as if you're trying to hit them on the way down, then JCFF to fall back to the ground and punish while they're in lag or when they land.
Best vid on this tech that I’ve seen yet. I’ve been playing peach for a min now and I’m pretty good w her but this tech is the one thing holding me back from being really good w her! Idk why I have just had a really hard time getting this down
Trying to re-learn some of these stuff but really finding the short hop fast fall from a dash really difficult to perform, hopefully I can get used to it especially with using a shoulder button
oh my god i play daisy, and THAT SHIELD PRESSURE the people i play are already aftaid to drop shield because fcnair and fcbair are so safe and start combos, but now i can break them?!?? you are an incredibly informed player and im sharing this with my one paisy main friend :>
Her floating ability is actually really dangerous . You can use it at any point during a jump or a fall to psych out an opponent , combo , and recover . Another thing I noticed is that her side + air when she hits with her crown let’s her drop faster . Love that she’s good at fighting in the air I would have never expected that 😂
@@Ralts1 I’ve been trying to do it for months but then gave up and now I’m trying again 😼 hopefully I can improve because I feel like I’ve just been at the same level of gameplay for so long now
I've been playing Peach for a few weeks and I don't know what I did but the entire screen went to a backdrop of flowers and then there were giant peaches on the ground. There was 1 opponent left when this happened, hanging on a ledge. How do you do this?
So I've decided I want to main daisy. And the amount of patience needed to learn this character is tough but I'm trying. Your video has been really helpful, but I have a question about just starting off this tech. I wanted an indicator to know if I'm doing it right, so I did as you said and used the platform to give a visual if I'm performing it correctly. I can get daisy on top of the platform with the star indicator as well without falling through the platform just as you did, 2 or 3 times in a row even., but after watching you do it 9 times In a row so fast off the platform, I feel like I'm still too slow in comparison to you when I get off platforms. Is my timing still off? I'm not sure if I'm doing it right yet. I noticed an animation of daisy holding her arms to the side as she's rising up but when you do a few of them in a row, it's so fast, I can barely see that animation at all.
Hi! This is actually amazing! I’m a Peach Main but i always had struggle with this surreal technique! i have a question, what controller do you use? Is there a specific controller that can help this technique or a controller that makes every move faster as in the video?
You can do it on any controller. It's all about timing. I used to prefer joycons because I could do it by moving the control stick a shorter distance, but those started to drift so I use a pro controller now. It's really about timing and practice though.
Best vidéo thank you to explain this Moove. (Unfortunately I don't understand all your words because im french but i will try to study all the vidéo as i can, thx!) In another vidéo, Can you explain how to do true combo with Peach's FCGT?
FCGT? My last video was a combo guide if you have seen that. If you are wondering how to add JCFF to combos, replace any ground-float Neutral air's or ground-float up airs with JCFF aerials. For instance, you could combo GF Nair -> Dtilt -> GF Nair -> Dash attack, or you could do JCFF Nair -> Dtilt -> JCFF Nair -> Dash attack.
Hello, thanks for your video ! i don't know if it's because my english is not that great but i basically don't get the basic input, in your video the input shown on the left along with the video look like a basic fast fall for me, do you have to press X to jump then press X again and flick the left stick down within the 2 frames after pressing X ? Thanks in advance
This is not a "standard" fastfall, as it is done while you are still holding jump. X only needs to be pressed once. So HOLD X to jump, flick the left stick down, and let go of X two frames later.
If anyone can help me out I don’t quite get it yet the only way I know how to do it is jump then flick down on the left stick to stop and the height desired then flick down a second time while letting go of float to fast fall. Is there a more consistent way of doing it or I’m doing it right ?
Sorry for the late response, but I have an answer for this. The dashing JCFF takes a lot longer, and can’t be used to combo. I don’t think I’ve ever used it before, and I’m questioning right now why I even included it in the video. Moving JCFF without the dash is better in every single way. DJCFF gives you way more mobility. Due to the way double jumps work in this game, adding in the second jump let’s you instantly shift Peach’s momentum with the JCFF. You could be running one way, and DJCFF the opposite direction. It also gives you more distance.
That is absolutely true! Many low tiers and mid tiers also have similar combo games to Peach, and some have even better combo trees. The reason Peach is S tier involves having the most aerial movement options in the game.
In order for it to count as SHJCFF do you have to jump using 2 jump buttons simultaneously? I can do this in neutral but find that hard to string moves like SHJCFF with trunip drops and to continuosly catch etc. Easy to do using 1 jump button but when it comes to 2 it's hard to get the fall correctly
I tried this in training mode and couldn't get it. (SHJCFF with one button). I actually don't know if it's possible because of how fast you have to release jump to get a single button short hop. You could just be getting a really fast full-hop JCFF, or I could be wrong. During SHJCFF you should barely leave the ground. I think you are referring to turnip loops with your other comment here. My latest video covers a different technique that is easier and avoids the SHJCFF tech, because it is very difficult I agree.
Thanks! JCFF aerials are easier to space than ground float aerials. Moving JCFF pretty much takes you a fixed distance, while the distance you travel with ground float is highly variable depending on your input.
SHCFF Should be obvious when you do it correctly. Peach should barely leave the ground and you should get a fast fall star. Don't confuse it with a ground-float fast-fall, which requires flicking down on the control stick twice.
I pretty much can do the jcff but can’t do moving jcff I just learned stationary jcff maybe a month ago but I practice other characters too. But now I’m going to put all my focus on paisy
