@@musicjamzedits obviously. Or else giving her Mario damage and spikes would make Peach OP. Imagine Peach that can float have the damage as Mario, or Luigi, or another hard hit character with good spikes. So yeah. To balance her floatiness, she needs to put in more effort.
The were a lot of times when Riddles was offstage without a jump and Muteace could have won if he just ran off and pulled out Toad, but didn't.

kazuya has the most lame game plan in the entirety of smash lol, just constantly spamming invincible inputs until u win a single interaction and do 100% or kill
i don’t even think there’s anything wrong w a character having death combos, but the amount of damage SINGLE hits do is so stupid i roll my eyes every time lol
Second most lame, right behind Steve. At least Kazuya has to approach, Steve gets stronger by constantly avoiding you, putting up walls, and even gets a projectile to keep you away.
Thats true but there aren't many pro Kazuyas right? Riddles is the only one making waves with him from what I've seen.

@@cyanofelis i understand ur argument, but that can be said about literally 90% of the characters in the game, even the broken ones. fox is insane but we only have one, pikachu is insane but we have like .5, it’s their JOB to be good at the game, obviously they’re gonna be good, doesn’t mean the character isn’t broken if they’re the only one that can take it to that level

I'm a Melee player. I recently got Ultimate after not touching the Smash games for years. I remember Peach's Down Smash in Melee was really good but I noticed this player doesn't use it. Was it nerfed in this game?

MK Leo could play Joker but he doesn't enjoy it and has found success with another character. You peanut gallery mindset, them champion mindset. Peach is definitely a really bad matchup for kaz. She can just stay out of his range and combo him into oblivion. I guess theoretically Kaz can just try to intangibility through the barrage to get a stray hit in which would hopefully lead to a combo but that's certainly not going to work a majority of the time, especially when you are constantly in disadvantage or being ledge trapped.

@@demar.9k I mean yeah, what else would you call getting walled out and getting hit by endless combos. Kaz's big weakness is he has a lot of trouble getting in if they can stay outside of his combo range. Characters with good frame data who can out space him can just shit on him. The Kaz player would have to be extremely patient and hope for punishes which they may or may not get a kill off of.
@@KingCalero take the first stock of is set as an example. kaz hits peach once and she’s in kill percent, then he makes 1 read and she dies. peach being able to float out of range def helps her survive the matchup but to call it really bad for kaz is a big reach imo
@@demar.9k I feel that's an oversimplified argument. In order for Kaz to even hit peach he essentially has to bait her into coming close or try to read her and punish accordingly. Even then, the Kaz player would need to recognize this in time and perform the optimal combo for the given situation. If you are 0-deathing Peach on Kaz it means the Peach messed up hard or you played insanely well. Peach can essentially just poke him at leisure and whiff punish him him with her own death combos. He also just loses when he's offstage vs her as well which just makes it even more dominant. It's definitely a losing matchup for Kaz as most characters who play like that are. Kaz is only really dominant against characters who are forced to engage with him constantly, slow characters he can maneuver around, or players who can't space/play too aggressively and get punished for it.

May I humbly, candidly ask? How come Muteace never made use of Peach's counter? I don't play Peach obviously so I cannot tell, but there are moments it was inescapable to be in a location Riddles would be attacking, I felt a counter would have come in handy, no?
