I agree! And funny, I played Megaman when I first started Smash 4; his pellets reminded me of Brawl Falco's lasers. Peach is not only technical in this game, but also very damaging and consistent if you are truly able to execute. She will take time, but she could be a promising secondary for you C:

@@LADYLXCK Thanks for the reply! I think the biggest issue for me is how to set up these combos on actual opponents & deciding what height to float at to approach. I know it varies a lot depending on matchups, etc, so a classic tutorial might not be the right format, but maybe some kind of video explaining your thought process as you fight?

Very helpful video, that Dair > drag-down Uair string is something that was clearly missing from my early game punishes, going to try and get used to busting it out during matches. For what I'd like to see in future videos, I'd love to learn:
-More in-depth Turnip usage (I don't have much experience with item play)
-Setting up/looking for kills at high percent (my opponents tend to live to very high percents)
-Safely applying pressure (on shield/during advantage/tech-chasing/etc.)
-Going from mastering these combos in training mode to actually managing to use them in a real match (this is a more general topic, but one I struggle with for all characters, I often end up over-thinking things, then panicking and falling back on bad habits when under pressure. Not sure how relevant or interesting the topic is to you but I'd love some input on if if you feel so inclined)
Oh, and best music in the game includes (but is not limited to) Gangplank Galleon(DK), Gerudo Valley(Zelda), Gourmet Race(Kirby, both 64 and Melee versions), most sonic tracks... lots of awesome music in this game lol

I will say it's much easier than it looks C: I've considered uploading some of my own matches for viewing an critique. Maybe I should offer to critique my viewers videos as well? Yeah, that's definitely something I'd be interested in seeing! Analyzing real match scenarios is always really helpful to me when trying to apply the theory into practice... especially when it comes to pointing out weaknesses like repetitive, exploitable patterns and other bad habits, or discussing how to tailor one's approach to a specific matchup/player. Dude this video is fantastic! I’m a fan. But @Lady Luck Herself, could you also make a video detailing what to do in Paisy’s disadvantage state? For instance, when you’re dealing with a lot of projectiles from a Toon Link, or getting rushed down by a Pichu who stays on you with combo strings. I often feel lost in these situations and would love some insight from a fellow Peach/Daisy main :D

Maya Paulcifer they’re the same now
Characters with BnB are just so satisfying to play. This is what drew me towards Ike and away from Marth in my transition from Smash 4 to Smash Ultimate.
I also feel like characters with combos are much more rewarding. In fact, if a character is without them, I feel as though they are lacking (aka my gripes with Ganon for the longest of times). Thank you for another sweet and thoughtful comment, EdFTW ^///^
Lovely video! I would love to see a new vid on your controller setup if you haven't talked about it already! I'm a (barely) decent Peach main and even though I've been playing her since melee I can barely get my float cancels/combo game right. I use a pro controller and have tap jump on which I hear isn't the best for the princesses but I can't get used to having jump on a trigger or X/Y.

The only helpful peach video I've seen
I know it's a bit late, but I think this might be true, if your opponent doesn't tech. It's:
Regular turnip throw ( Can't be a winky face, dot eyes, stitch face, Mr Saturn or Bob-omb ) to Down tilt, grab, Down throw to back air, to jab one for the jab lock, Down tilt to Shot-hop F-air or float cancelled F-air = About 70%
I know it's a bit useless, as the opponent can tech, but it's relatively easy and has a very high damage payoff
P.S. You might have to dash forward a bit after the first Down tilt, depending on the character's weight and DI - Hope this helps!
I'm looking at this now cause idk the first thing about paisy except jump cancelling but man. This is on a whole nother level. Great vid for beginners for these two characters

For the drag down uair (bnb #4), I found it helpful to position myself a little bit away from them as im doing the dair so that they get hit by the right side of the rainbow arch.
Dang this is the first well done ssbu combo video I've seen! I appreciate the detailed explanation on each bnb presented. I'll need to get working on this to better my Daisy play.

ATTENTION: If you are struggling with the Dair -> dragdown Uair, I highly recommend changing your jump to right Z/Zr and yellow c-stick to tilt.
That way when you float to approach for the Dair, you already have your index finger on Zr and thumb on c-stick ready to execute the fast fall (control stick) and Uair (c-stick) at the same time

this guide was very useful ecspecially since i started playing smash ultimate 4 months ago i gotta say my fav was dair to fair it didnt take long for me to learn considering i watched you do it so i knew excatly what to do and did what you did in the guide ik it was easy for me but to others it might be challenging but for me easy combo easy damage
This was a wonderful video Lady Luck💕 Peach I really great in this game and I can’t wait to see more Peach content from you! Also I have a combo I like to do sometimes. It’s, z-dropping a turnip above the opponents head, followed with a fast fall b-air, followed with a grab-downthrow, to b-air. It’s usually rare when I’m able to pull it off because people like to dance around too much but it’s great for catching people off guard, but this is great for big characters lol.

Great video, I loved that you explained typical problems when first starting to learn these combos, I tried to replicate some of EoE's combos but couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong.
Also, putting recommended videos from other RUclipsrs is very appreciated, sometimes it's hard to find good videos on Peach/Daisy.

As far as a recommended video, I don't know yet, maybe something involving turnip management, or mixups with Daisy Bomber?
As for favorite music, I say you can't go wrong with Princess Peach's Castle from Melee, or whatever you like from the N64 soundtrack, like Peach's Castle there or Pokemon Red and Blue 64!

If a player does semi bad Di you can do nair>dtilt>nair>dtilt>upair cancel>dtilt>upair cancel>grab to bair nair 92%. Also you can mix it up half way through if you see them doing good Di

Well, Smash is simply what you make it! You can play it casually just as you play it competitively. Do you want to beat the best in the world or just beat your friends? There is no wrong answer C:
I have a feeling this is gonna take a lot of practice. I cant seem to get the float height and positioning right. And idea how long it took you to master these?
With Peach, practice really does make perfect, so don't get discouraged! Honestly I've been playing Peach since melee, and I started around 13 years old, so I'm not sure how long it took me to grasp it. But! Would love a video going over how to do the basics that form these combos (e.g. float cancelling). It seems like all peach guides out there assume an intermediate level of proffiency.
I did make a Break Down explaining the basics of the character and what her moves are best for. Unfortunately things like "float canceling" are honestly just holding down the jump button, so its exceedingly difficult to make a video soley around that. What I can do is maybe make a video focusing around float. Would this interest you?

I actually ended up finding this video on float cancelling ruclips.net/video/gGxSNOCgRJI/видео.html although it's for smash 4 (i'm guessing it's not much different in ultimate). Even though it's so basic it still helps watching someone else do it and confirming that i'm practicing the right thing.

As for future videos..hmm, perhaps fighters that Paisy is strong or weak vs? And perhaps maybe playing neutral differently vs certain fighters?
And for a song..I was thinking Mario 3 boss song in ultimate but maybe that song would be useful if you end doing like a combo highlight video of yourself lol. Mario World boss song could work instead perhaps :P

Its when I see people like You that I feel baffled due to Your high speed inputs. It sounds simple, but float cancelling And doing Air stuff in quick succession is tricky. Still, I really like Peach, so this really helps. As a sidde note, putting custom buttons on my nickname helps a lot too, changing the left SHIELD button to a jump one And using the c stick instead of the control stick for aerials really helps on gettin ok with her.
I have been playing Peach since she appeared in melee, so I have a good amount of years under my belt with the character! The more you play her, the better and faster your inputs will get; but she does take *time* so make sure you want to dedicate the necessary hours to play her. Ideally, I think you'd want to lab her for 2 hours and play her for 3-4 a day C:

Great video, definitely gonna stick around to see what's to come. I think it might also be worth adding that you can float cancel the nair/bair you get out of d-throw at low percent to get a free grab on characters without super fast options out of shield. Also, it might be good to look into footstooling after float dair. It can set up for weak nair (which I think might jab lock) or first/second hit dair (which definitely jab lock) even at high percent. Thinking about it now you could probably also fair if you have the positioning for it, but I think that might be out if your opponent drifts inwards.
Hmm! I think a good deal of this has to do with your opponent not responding correctly to the combo and less to do with us as yhe Peach player. I will lab to see if you can get a regrab after float canceled bair/nair at low percents because that would be insanely useful. Best and easiest combo starters are Nair or Bair into Down Tilt @ 0%. Even turnip to Nair is good with some practice. Straight Down Tilt is tougher to land. Mixing it up
Like mid float dair fake to fall into a Nair on your opponent straight into a D. tilt etc... If you want to accelerate your peach and really cut the learning curve start with videos like this one or Leffens then just study the living shit out of Samsora/Mute Ace/LingLing/Razo/Blazing Pasta Matches.... essentially in that order...
