This guide is so bad lol. I like how they go through different scenarios instead of doing move by move, but the info is inaccurate.
For example, IMO the best float height in neutral is slightly above the enemy's head. This lets you threaten safe fairs (the move hits slightly below) and damaging dair combos. You can also empty land into grab if theyre shielding, and you can do the samsora mixup which is falling nair. The nair has enough shieldstun that you can jab to interrput a grab, or if they try to shield the jab you just grab them yourself. A fresh nair (unstaled) has even more shieldstun so you might even be plus but Im not too sure about that.

also Pro Controllers are kinda not covered. they work well for peach with that extra button
Peach is just that easy to play
For everyone who has problems short hopping just press y and x at the same time (or whatever your jump buttons are)

@@frantschou2369 rebind one of your jump buttons to a shoudler. I use the left trigger and still have the right trigger for shield and z for grab.

Peach's float doesn't last close to five seconds, it's 150 frames, which is 2 1/2 seconds.

When I started maining peach, I used my trigger button to jump, it makes using float combos easier and more comfortable.
same, but i noticed the X button is smaller and inputs a bit faster since there is less distance for the button to be completely pressed down.
justanotherwolf It just helps me reach the c stick, which is easier to pull out air moves faster than using A for all four directions.

I just want to say that the down air to up air combo isn’t the one you showed in this video. The large majority of top players will do down air to drag down up air to down tilt/grab.

No
To float you have to hold the jump button. If you want to shorten the jump for floating, press down on the left stick, but keep holding the jump button.
To cancel the float, let go of jump and you will stop floating.

@@ricardoortiz3174 That's embarrassingly wrong. Pac man is super technical. Imo, the shots, and terry, are the most technical, followed by pacman and peach. Snake is also quite technical.
Umm.. you forgot one crucial move, the toad shield! Whenever someone is close or attempts to hit you with a smash attack, the toad shield gives a lot of damage and if your opponent already has a lot of damage, it has potential to KO. Just watch out for anyone that has the ability to reflect thrown items (Starfox crew, Zelda, Earthbound Kids)

Normally I think your Guides are not really good, but this one looks like one of the better ones. (But I don't play Peach so I can't really tell)
KretivEr it's okay, but some of the combos they mention aren't true or aren't optimized. at early percents, down tilt always leads into float cancel neutral air. from there, you can grab, down tilt again, or follow up with another float cancel neutral air. if you wanna get really saucy, you can also do float down air to fast fall up air. you'll only get the drag down hit with can lead to downtilt. hope i could help!

Where can I fi d something about the control configuration? To main better Peach / Daisy.
A lot of people who play Paisy use a trigger for jump and tilt stick if that helps at all
The ACTUAL things to say to help someone is
1. Go in training right now and practice hover cancels.
2. Practice edge guarding with turnips.
3. Slowly add hover cancels to your combos.
You should try to just throw out a hover cancel once in a while during a match.
It will really help you get used to it.
Eventually you will find out she doesn’t do well against keep always like SAMUS.
Samus is a character you will learn to hate. When fighting a character like Samus do a full jump and hover so you can go over their projectile spam and then fast fall to them when your close and parry or use your second jump to confuse them.
And btw I find it easier to do hover cancels by using X as my jump button.
But that’s because I use a legend of Zelda pro controller.

just a prinny dood At casual play, yes. At top level play however, it’s definetly not easy what so ever. The «hard to execute» combos she has might take away from the fact that her movement and neutral game is even harder to preform. There’s a reason why every top level Peach player has played her for a long time. What ever happens in a casual game is not really relevant, as everything is much easier at that level.

I don't think peach is very hard at all in ultimate on the contrary. after skipping smash 4 coming from brawl she's most def one of the easier characters I've played. the fact she floats around so much makes recovery very very easy as well as attacking opponents in the air. I've had so much success with her up a air attacks and up b attacks koing opponents more than another other character.
She is hard to play at a higher competitive level. Frame perfect Z drops and tight combo strings that have no room for missing without getting punished.
Simply her potential with combos and all of the turnip differences doing different percents change almost every combo string.
I’m a Bayo player, but the most I can do with peach is lower mid level stuff.

Thats a really bad thing to do, its not comfortallble or efficient in any way, the best thing to do is to make one of your shoulder buttons on jusp for it to be really efficient.
Yes, practice makes it so much easier to use after SO MANY times you fail to do a float cancel Nair, but when you get the muscle memory and timing, its so much better than doing as you said in the video. Also if someone who is new to smash and just started to play right now, i wont suggest for you to learn peach/ daisy for now, too hard for new players to learn, especially her neutral game.
I play peach/daisy with claw grip and playing over 500 hours with them, my index finger hurts a lot, me being stupid I just realised that you could use shoulder buttons for jumps, either way I feel like your comment will help a lot of people in some ways.

Musicman928 if it was pre patch pichu then yes I think pichu would be s tier but I don’t think that was the case, nerfed pichu is still good but not s tier which is reserved for the best of the best. His survivability is awful and some of his kill confirms were nerfed like f tilt and f smash. He can gain like 13% now from doing only a few attacks which is big for him. His hurtbox is also larger which causes him to get hit/shield poked much more often
Musicman928 I definitely don’t think shulk is top tier but rather a high tier coming from a shulk main. He has trouble getting in, very predictable nuetral, predictable recovery. Shulk is one of those characters that are easy to play/learn but hard to master and for most people they would rather learn the bad shulk match ups and fight him instead
