End feed. yps, compression, push fit. Push fit. Different liners for different push couplers and for different plastic manufacturers. Now press fit! Different types of "Jaws" "We're gonna need a bigger van". Roy Scheider "Jaws".
I Have been plumbing for 11 years and still dont get it. Fancy push fits basically. plastic under screed, end feed everywhere else. I wouldn't want to use these in my own house, why would you use it round someone else's. It's not all about getting the job done quicker.
Same here can see there use but would not trust those after few years. All they are doing is makeing plumbing more easy for diy non qualified plumbers.
I disagree with you. Sharkbite makes a tool so you can shimmy their fittings off, (I use them in new construction plumbing for testing water systems), try and shimmy this fitting off after you press it and let me know how it goes for you.
I Hope you...🧐🧐🧐have gotten this right...the British bikes,..and cars...we're notorious for leaking not 🚫 a good time to use neoprene it's a better time to use .. viton rubber🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
What brand fittings are those? Pegasus? They have a different design than the ones commonly found here in the US, which have the O-ring midway in the press area, not at the very edge like with these.
They want a v on yhe line now .have done for some time. Also they do not want any ink on the fitting they just class it as a fail.the too of the v should be inside the fitting
I get the applications - which is rarely the decision. But what's with the explosion in fittings? Unless there's a reason not too then personally I think compression is normally the most versatile. Push fits are useful when space is a concern. Press fit doesn't help in poor space because the tool is enormous. They look nicer than compression, but if you want a work of art then surely end feed solder done really carefully is still most aesthetic. My personal preference is PEX if its out of sight - far more reliable than copper. PEX lens itself best to compression - although it's normally installed with push fit which isn't quite as reliable but I guess brass and plastic isn't easy on the eye.

No flame building sites. Thats the only reason I would see this.

Surely the 15 on the jaw is important too.. every time I use my M52 jaws the fitting falls out🤪😜

How long will it take for the "o" ring to perish.? Think I prefer a soldered joint
black for water yellow for gas will a yellow one not do for both I'm no plumber
Can you put the middle of the jaws over the o ring housing ?
yes thats what you do. thanks.
🙏🎉🎉🎉👍
Whats better m or v as v is an 3 x crimp vs 2 on m
Hi Allan
Which press gun is good I mean money prospective and qualify ?
Don't forget green for solar
Thank You
Cant beat end feed solder joints but i can see the use for these fittings not for me thou.
I struggle to see the fascination. Similar to copper push fit and no less and no more reliable in normal realistic operating conditions.
Thank You
M15🤔
