Had a man ask for my number. I told him it's a no for now but that I'll pray on it and get back to him. Went to God and heard to let my no be a no. Yesterday, the guy followed up and again asked what God said, and I told him just that. He then belittles my going to God for every decision and says that he doesn't believe God, etc etc, and continues to persist. I said that's probably exactly why God said it was a no.
Sis, trust your Self, that's your intuition. God is always speaking to us. Don't be afraid to listen and follow that regardless of how that other party is able to receive it. God first.

Also, I would caution others when it comes to the 'Christian guy' who you aren't suppose to be with. He may look good on paper, but maybe not the best fit for you for whatever reason. That was my situation...nice guy and everyone loves him, but knew in my spirit he wasn't the one. Couldn't put my finger on it and nothing in the natural that would make alarms go off, but I just knew. Maybe instead of 'If he isn't the one for me, take him away,' what about "If he's not for me, remove my desire for him.' ?

for my case, when i pray this, in several days i will see/know that he not a good godly man or already in relationship or already liking someone else that the woman type is not like me. so i know that his type is not someone like me. at least at that time. so i release my feeling toward him
i think he may mean in a case where you may be already “committed” to someone in some way (exclusivity, marriage, kids, etc).
if you havent chosen to be committed to a person, you may be in a space where youre gauging if you should choose them….so praying that prayer is valid bc you havent yet made a choice to commit yet.
but usually when it comes to someone making a conscious choice to commit to someone in any way and then we pray “God if theyre not for me, please remove them”, its like telling God that we were not responsible for choosing this person and hence we will not take responsibility for the conscious choice to remove that person from our life ourself….whether God guided them or allowed them to our lives, we always have a choice at the end of the day.
i feel like what he may have been saying is THAT specific prayer kind of negates the fact that we have free will and that we should be taking accountability for our choices

My ex and I broke up in February. This devastated me and I ran right back to God. Neither one of us were where we needed to be in our relationship with God so I know that He is the one who caused it to end. I've rededicated my life and have been working so hard since myself. My ex agreed to do this also but I'm not sure he is. I really feel like ours is the "not quite time" situation and would just like prayer for patience while I'm waiting.

I just cut off a man i had suspicions of being the one God had sent to me. But what had happened was he was spiritually immature (lovebombing, negative response to communication problems, etc.) And i found myself correcting biblically at times.
Sometimes the guy loves Jesus, reads his bible, doesnt do anything sexually immoral, but the point is that the man is the HEAD, and if youre leading, girl you are taking his position and it will not change.

A lot of the times people pray to God and come up with their own answer and claim it to be from God. If you have to pray a prayer for God to remove someone from your life, that's already an indicator that that person shouldny be in your life. Period.

I literally prayed for God to give me a sign and a couple nights he got in a drunken rage while taking me home from work, and then I jumped out the car because I didn’t want to die and I walked home. Preach with this! I found my partner who had known me 8 years ago but with my short term memory conditions & epileptic disabilities, I had no clues on who he was. Yet with my best-friend’s knowledge of him on my behalf, she matched him & I together again & now we have been together for a new year! Cons however are the *’nobodies perfect but nobodies making any improvements’* motivations within this year. Your timing is profound for me! I'm currently following a journey of understanding when God might be guiding us away from certain relationships. However, in my situation, God has given me a different message. He's been calling me to share my personal relationship with him with my new boyfriend that I barely know and help this person open up and heal from past hurts from his childhood.This man is a man of faith also. So I told him about my personal and sacred relationship with God. And told him exactly what God told me and right after that he stopped texting me for almost a month.Then he text me for a couple of days and once again no texts again. God, once again said don't give up so I again explained that in a text very emphatically. I feel a deep obligation to follow through because God has never asked me to do something like this before. I'm struggling with this because, I want to honor what God is asked. How do I navigate the situation and stay true to what I believe?
This mostly sounds like confusion. God is not a God of confusion. Also when God tells you about your purpose especially in this situation this is between you and God. I believe you should fast and pray to God and he will answer your prayers. Remember God gives clear instructions. I hope this helps✨

Mine definitely can be abusive at times. He also was so horrible while I was going to school and taking care of my children and our baby because I wasn't making income at that time. He refuses to make more money. I now have a masters degree and I have a good job but I still feel like he heavily relays on my income. One thing he does have is he does belive in God and that's what makes it hard to leave. The biggest red flag at the beginning was I was his AP and he acted all holy while messing with me while he was still married his justification was she was abusive and I was done. But it's abusive so I wonder if she really was or it was him the whole time just making excuses.
i know someone who both claimed be to Christian, however the guy would talk bad about her mom and pulled her away from her family. He was cheating on her the same time. She found out and was so sorry she let him do that.

Well am dating a guy who made me got closer to God. I had issues with him which i left not contacting him for a while but whenever i take to prayer that God should give me a better guy this thought coming to my head that this guy will come and that a lot of pressure is weighting on him and i should pray for him. Am really when he calls he will tell this is what happened and all.
There were times he disappear due to the death of a family his brother and that affected him.
I can just say in my heart God i miss this guy and i will see him. This got me confused and most time this same feeling keep telling me his yours. The only issue i have with him is him not calling most time but sometimes. So i had to give myself a break to focus on God. I just need an advice
I would never normally comment but your comment resonates with me after an experience I had with a man which is quite similar to yours. It sounds like your guy could have cptsd or be of an avoidant disposition. You could look up some reputable you tubers on here who explain why some people do this type of thing which might help you decide whether to keep on trying with him or not .

I accidentally opened RUclips (needed the app next to it) after receiving a message from a guy I had a date with that there was no romantic interest. The only thing I saw was this thumbnail and it definitely felt like God was confirming this wasnt the right guy for me. Kinda the message I needed to see after already feeling like God was telling me this week that this wasn't the right one for me.
While listening to this I hear the song "Free_Mind" by TEMS, and to tell you the truth that is how I feel.
