Glad you enjoyed it. Yes tape is much safer than pins, I don't like putting pins near my machine unless I absolutely have to. I think I should have shares in masking tape lol.
Thank you so much for your videos. I love that you are so precise on every detail. You are a joy to watch. Keep up the good work. You are an exceptional and Wonderful Teacher. I am new to machine embroidery and I love and needed to see all of what you were doing. I will want to embroider more with you. Thanks again. You take the scariness out of it.
Thank you that's very kind of you to say so. I hope you give it a go, it really is easy and will open the door to so many different designs. Have fun happy stitching.
Thank you for this video!! I wished I would have seen this prior to making my first one, but will come back to it when I get ready to make them for Christmas gifts
Hi Dee, all versions of the Swirly placemat have got three segments in each hooping. I have just downloaded them all to check and everything is there. These files are stitch ready and by opening them in any embroidery software it can change the colour sequence and cause very unexpected results. If you did open them in embroidery software delete the unzipped files, unzip them again, load the freshly unzipped files that you will be stitching onto a USB key and load them directly into your embroidery machine. I hope this helps.
They must be stitched in the correct order or the joins will not work, even though they look the same there are some differences to make it all join properly.
Magnifique
So very pretty, I love this center piece
It is pretty isnt it. 😊
Great video. Love the tip of using tape to hold the segments while stitching them together.

You're welcome thanks for watching.
Can I use jelly roll to make this, it’s 2.5 inches wide?
Hi Patricia, no it wont work, even on the smallest 5x7 size you need 12 pieces 4"x 6" for the front. I hope this helps. Happy stitching.
I see there are several pieces that look the same on the pattern, is there a certain order to sew them in? Are they the same size?
They must be stitched in the correct order or the joins will not work, even though they look the same there are some differences to make it all join properly.
thank you
What scissors are you using?
I think they call them squissors. Connie.
Thanks Kays Cutz.
I did enjoy this but ditch the music....
Thanks for your feedback. I now have a working microphone again so I no longer need to add music.
i love the music... or turn down the sound,
Thanks me too but I understand that not everyone will but that's OK I can't please the world lol.
