    Dude, totally made a huge difference, it was unreal how much more of a glide my bait Got, and it was in choppy water ln High winds. Thanks bro great video.

    Nice job. Just a pointer on filing. Some out there in the you tube world may not know. A file cuts on the push stroke not on the pull.

    Sweet tip man! How thick are the plastic walls at that spot. Obviously if you file too much away and put a hole in the bait it will fill with water, how much is too much?

    • @mcaetano2000
      @mcaetano2000 7 лет назад

      You can file A LOT! I think if you file too much the bait will be ruined because of the action before you actually put a hole in it...

    I don’t want my s-waver to do a complete 180° turn so it spins around to look back at the fish. that’s not a natural presentation. no bait fish is going to turn around and look at the predator.
    if you’re going to do anything to help it work as a jerk bait, it should be making the twitches more erratic.

    • @WillSelbyKayakFishing
      @WillSelbyKayakFishing  5 лет назад +2

      Well I'll be careful how I conversate with you with your name being hateful Joey with that said I think you should fish this thing before you assume certain things because this technique has not only been invented but also used by some of the best anglers out there such as people like Matt Allen and Tim little. When a bass is following a fish to eat it and has an issue committing when the lure spins around and looks at the bass it causes a reaction strike. Also the s-waver isn't considered a jerkbait but more of a hard swimbait the company will tell you this. with a swimbait you can only real it straight back to the boat so it doesn't hang out in the strike zone very long the whole ideal with the s waver is that since it does an s in the water it stays in the strike zone longer so all I have done in this video is make the s much wider which allows it to stay in the strike zone even longer. I don't get why people assume this doesn't work without even trying it is this where we've come to these days?

    • @foreignbeggar3783
      @foreignbeggar3783 5 лет назад

      Bassangler Bait Co. - Will Selby oh boy. you can mention the tactical bassin’ guys all you want, but you’ll also hear them speak on how a bait turning around and facing the bass, isn’t natural. in fact, i’m pretty sure they mention that on a few of their videos on glide/swim baits.
      and to assume that i’ve never thrown an s-waver is just that, an assumption. i’ve been throwing my 168 for awhile, and have caught plenty of fish on it. I know it’s a hard body swimbait. but you can also retrieve it in different ways to make it do different things. you can put this swimbait in the strike zone for as long as you need to. you don’t have to just burn it back to the boat.

    • @WillSelbyKayakFishing
      @WillSelbyKayakFishing  5 лет назад +3

      @@foreignbeggar3783 I'm not going to argue with you I would never file my s waivers unless it was beneficial there is so many presentations that aren't natural they're called reaction baits. a spinnerbait isn't very natural either have you ever seen a fish with a wire sticking out of its head and metal blades spinning? If you don't want to file down your s-waver then don't it's simple. I did not invent this technique way better bass fisherman than myself showed it to me. Do whatever you want I don't care.

      hateful Joey you are badly misinformed. my largest bass so far in 2019 came on a Jackall Gantarel when I killed the bait and it turned into the face of the bass...instantly engulfed the whole bait. Same exact thing happened with the larger 6” Savage gear Gill with a 4.12 bass.

      @@foreignbeggar3783 It's not just Tim and Matt, other west coast big bass guru's also try to get as much rotation as they can. Bill Siemental mentions it specifically in one of his BBZ videos.

      When it’s tuned right it can act just like a jerkbait. We were catching them this weekend using it like a jerkbait and fish were hammering it. This is a great video!!! Keep up the good work bro👍🏼
