I think you have a hand full of haters out there...it seems like there’s always like 5-10 people that give your videos thumbs down. People are so petty and worthless.... You always produce good videos man keep it up.
I can't remember which video it is, but he opened the video with the usual "what up m'fers" and this random mom just went mental. "My kids watch you and I just dont think you saying that is appropriate! I dont think we'll be able to continue watching unless this behavior gets fixed!"
Never fished a hard swim/glide style bait but after seeing this makes me want to start checking into them. I really love these test videos you been putting out. Keep up the good work !!! 👍👍👍
Great video! Enjoy these types of videos in the mix. Learn a lot. Appreciate the info you give and great to see the movement of the baits in the pool. I enjoy fishing more after watching your videos. Like to practice what I’m learning from you. Thanks.
Haven’t been watching your channel for a while now, but just wanted to say this was a nice video to revisit too. I don’t know if I am ready to drop $170.00 on a lure, but seeing how they glide, really is educational. Thanks for sharing so I can know what to expect if I would ever make that choice to purchase.
Love the pool demos. Id like to see all the cheaper glidebaits and swimbaits tested. Like under $40. Squarebill crankbaits would also be great to see how well they hunt.
Swimbaitunderground you can usually snag some of these baits. Sometimes get them for a better price too for any of y'all looking and having trouble finding them highly suggest it. Also got some other dope forums on there about big baits. Awesome video BTW keep up the great work!
Sly guy maker doesn't take pre orders anymore. He's got his website up now and sells them through there. They sell out within a couple minutes though when they drop
Awesome comparison video! Really cool to see the full action of these baits in clear water. I still have an idea for a worm that I want to share with you and have you test out.
I’m not a huge bass fisherman so I only have 1 rod and that is a 6’6” medium spinning rod. That’s what I throw everything on spoons crank baits worms. So I’d probably throw those on it.
Great video I like comparison videos they help alot . The most expensive lures in my box are the whopper poppers. Someday maybe I can get a big glide bait
River 2 sea works great but im throwing that on a medium heavy and 12lb floro. Braid seems to mess with the action of me glide baits. Gancrafts, Deps do better on floro.
yea i cant put that much money in lures with how i lose them haha. I like to paint my own baits so i may try to make some of these jointed baits and paint them up...
Thanks for the tip on how you run your Hinkle and 250...I've been on the glide baits for the last week since the fall transition is just really starting where I'm at and am going to incorporate that into my retrieves...actually I'm going to run down the road to my local slaunch pond right now and throw out my hinkle, 5.5" and 8" savage gear glide "swimmers" and a 10.25" hand made wood glide bait I made last winter similar to the Roman Mother in a shad pattern to see if I can get at least one of them smashed with that method. 🎣🕔💪🤯
Catching up on this glide bait stuff just got a dedicated rod and reel ordered my first custom swim bait a Legrady shortcake looking for others to get into
Any other glides with a price point like the baitsanity that does them wide glides that has more color options I like the threadfin or gizzard shad colors for my lakes
I know this is a test video but would you tie braid straight to the bait or run a heavy fluoro/mono leader? Seems like the heavier braid would be to visible and turn fish away?
Great vid Ben. Thank you. Are you throwing these baits on lakes with large baitfish? I am a pond hopper and just started throwing the 6th sense flow glider in bluegill and the s waver 168 in light trout. Catching* them 9n the 6th sense but nothing on s waver. My ponds do not have shad to my knowledge. But definitely have bluegill, carp, minnows, etc... dammit I just need to buy a boat. Thanks in advance for any advise on pond fishing with swim baits.
Can you do a video or tutorial on the different jig head styles? Such as swim jig or football jig just to name a couple. I started fishing fresh water a few years back and still don't quite understand the world of using jigs. I am a salt guy learning how to fish fresh.
Really like this video! I haven't gone to the swimbait world yet, maybe one day. But I hate the idea of losing an $8 bait (well I get kinda pissed when I lose any bait really..) but I wouldn't even wanna throw a bait that cost as much as any of those!!! I'd have a heart attack if I lost it!!
Great video. Would you say you catch more on the Hinkle because you use it more, or you see the difference in bites? They're some pricey baits, but always curious if they work better than say deps 250 if used equally.
Great video bro you should look into the Hiroshima Glide baits, and HPH Glide baits. The HPH is a glidebait that you can fish faster than most Glide baits, plus it's super realistic.
for those wondering the reason the smaller baits don't glide as wide is because of their size . They can only have so much mass behind each glide, so most will glide about 1-2 times their body length. When he refers to it doesn't have as wide a glide when comparing it to the Hinkle that isn't really being fair to the bait because it is less than half the profile
that's the same reason the deps 250 glide the widest over the others is because it is the biggest. And in comparison a 262t , Rafael godfather. Roman made mother, and the hinkle trout will all glide farther than the 250
How about a comparison of the name brand baits vs. the knock-off store brands, like Live Target vs. Academy Sports? Keep the price below $20 if you can, I can’t afford that high end stuff right now so I’m keeping it cheap and have had pretty good luck with some of Academy’s stuff. S-Waver is on my list but I need one of the Plopper 75s first.
You’re the reason I got into swim baits. I’ve lost two already! What are your thoughts on the Mega Bass Mag Draft? I got the 6” and have yet to hook up with it.
You can make the s waver glide much more from side to side by filing just a very little bit off of the sharp edge of the hinge part of the back side of the split/gap of whatever you call it. It's just the sharp edge that keeps it from turning more, so by minor filing, you keep the integrity of the bait but get much more side to side glide. Would have been nice to see an I slide next to the line up as well.
Now when you are using the S Waiver, are you doing a straight retrieve like you would a normal soft swimbait? Or is it more of reel pause for a split second then reel again?
He is jerking it a little rythmically. I fish with that lure and ,as far as I remember, it has great S pattern on straight retrieve, but not so wide. But my model is 12 cm.
Surprised you didnt include the 6th Sense flow glider in this video. I just got to test mine out on the lake today. I had problems with it wanting to only run left. Any thoughts? Awesome video!
This was the coolest underwater bait video yet! Awesome to see how realistic swimbaits are
Been waiting for one of these swimbait videos. Thank you sir!
I think you have a hand full of haters out there...it seems like there’s always like 5-10 people that give your videos thumbs down. People are so petty and worthless.... You always produce good videos man keep it up.

I fish bass tournaments but I am old school I guess. I bought a top water for 15 bucks once and thought that was crazy. 😜
when it comes to the river-2-sea s waver i got one today for the first time and i love it for 17 dollars you cannot go wrong!
S waver did a lot of work for me this spring. But I retrieve it a slow as possible. Excellent lure.
Never fished a hard swim/glide style bait but after seeing this makes me want to start checking into them. I really love these test videos you been putting out. Keep up the good work !!! 👍👍👍
Have u ever tried any 3 years later o just got back into fishing from 5-7 years
Love the video, I’d like to see more swim and flipping jigs underwater!!!
Everyday another thousand subs! Awesome vids man! Number one youtuber hands down!!
I love these action videos in the pool! Definitely got me to rethink some purchases.
This is flat out my favorite video in this series so far #certifiedmfer
Love the swim bait stuff show more of how to retrieve and running techniques!
Great video! Enjoy these types of videos in the mix. Learn a lot. Appreciate the info you give and great to see the movement of the baits in the pool. I enjoy fishing more after watching your videos. Like to practice what I’m learning from you. Thanks.
Ty for showing cheaper baits. Ill go get them before the real high dollar ones. Big thumbs up on this video.👍
check out the Savage Gear 3D Shine Glide. It gets bit.
If you do get a s waver 168 get lite trout color . It gets crushed
Haven’t been watching your channel for a while now, but just wanted to say this was a nice video to revisit too. Love gliders and squarebills. I bought them in one batch in 2017 and this was AWESOME discovery.
S-waver and biggie smalls squarebill by River2Sea
Swimbaitunderground you can usually snag some of these baits. Sometimes get them for a better price too for any of y'all looking and having trouble finding them highly suggest it. Also got some other dope forums on there about big baits. Awesome video BTW keep up the great work!
Defo love the underwater vids. Keep em coming.
Hell yes dude! Been waiting for this video!
Sly guy maker doesn't take pre orders anymore. He's got his website up now and sells them through there. They sell out within a couple minutes though when they drop
Great info and great video. I’d love to see more of these clean water videos of bait comparisons.
Awesome comparison video! Really cool to see the full action of these baits in clear water. I still have an idea for a worm that I want to share with you and have you test out.

Nice pad, Milliken. Sometimes when it's really hot, I'll jump in my lure test pond.
Thank you for this Ben!
Great video, thanks for sharing, really helped to see your retrieve!
The fact that you catch so many tanks on those swimbaits makes me rethink if bass are line shy lol
Quality video again Ben mate. Any chance of a winter saltwater video? Keep em comin bro. PEACE
River 2 sea works great but im throwing that on a medium heavy and 12lb floro. Braid seems to mess with the action of me glide baits. Gancrafts, Deps do better on floro.
Do a comparison between the river to sea bait and the bass pro version
This is awesome as always bro!
I use the Megabass I - Slide 262 T. It is awesome for the price! Would highly recommend in the Hasu color!
Love the swim bait videos!
yea i cant put that much money in lures with how i lose them haha. I like to paint my own baits so i may try to make some of these jointed baits and paint them up...
dude youre fire at painting
dang, I just checked you out. u aint lyin!
@@nickferraro7914 thanks bro!
@@piscifunguy7638 appreciate the love man!
@Hugh Mann appreciate that man! still learning but its super fun!
That Hinkle shad with that sick crappie foil wrap from the boys in illinois 🤘
That looks like all paint. I don't think its wrapped though I could be wrong.
I love this as much as i can for a grown man with flashbacks of 1st period gym during swimming unit.....in winter
Glad to see you are drinking much better beer. Soft paddle tail swimbaits next for a great in depth video

S-waver gets it done for me.. I would never spend over 50 bucks on a swim bait.. but awesome video man!
Sick vid lets see a soft paddle tail Swimbait video
"14:00 Annnnnnd its fucked up, this thing SUCKS!" hahaha subbbbbed
Very instructive!
Awesome video!!
Great video buddy
Finally committing to a swimbait. Thanks Ben!!
Loved this video. Thanks!
THESE VIDEOS HELP SO MUCH!!!
Have you used bull shad swim baits
Makes me want to buy another swimbait!!
Any other glides with a price point like the baitsanity that does them wide glides that has more color options I like the threadfin or gizzard shad colors for my lakes
Baitsanity is a Killer glide next to River2Sea S Waver, both are my favorite swimbaits
AhhMilli perfect underwater video to do!
loved the video sir thanks for everything appreciate it all
How about video on different types of swim jigs an kinds of trailers to use with them maybe include chatterbaits
Should be on Guntersville now with those, lakes turning over all the bait is up and multiple 8s and 10s being caught on top and sub surface.
What do you consider the best colors with the deps 250
That bluegill looked amazing.
What about a jackall gantrall??? I love mine
Michael Porterfield Great beginner swimbait. I love it. Caught my PB on it when I visited Florida for a week. 8.53 pounds
Awesome stuff, can’t afford half of them but still nice to see their actions 👊🏻
Been wanting to see this
I have the S Waver, how do you get it to stay still in the water column like that? Mine just sinks
I know this is a test video but would you tie braid straight to the bait or run a heavy fluoro/mono leader? Seems like the heavier braid would be to visible and turn fish away?
Try and get your greasy mitts on a Phoney Frogs Shad glide, or a 3:16 Workhorse... your Hinkles may end up collecting cobwebs.
Great vid Ben. Thank you. Are you throwing these baits on lakes with large baitfish? I am a pond hopper and just started throwing the 6th sense flow glider in bluegill and the s waver 168 in light trout. Catching* them 9n the 6th sense but nothing on s waver. Ben, I think you need to revisit this concept with the Trace and Draw.
Tell you have a nice pool without telling me you have a nice pool. Lol
Can you do a video or tutorial on the different jig head styles? Such as swim jig or football jig just to name a couple. I started fishing fresh water a few years back and still don't quite understand the world of using jigs. I am a salt guy learning how to fish fresh.

I just bought a deps 250 and was wondering what knot you tie for them?
Double San Diego Jam for mono / copoly / fluorocarbon, Single San Diego Jam for braid.
I bought several of the bps multi segmented swim baits in varying sizes and haven't caught a thing on them
I'd like to see how you retrieve them and your opinion on if they are trash or not
Good stuff .
Hey. tell me what kind of reel "Abu Garcia" can advise on these lures ?
Glide baits in the fall can be money.
Well I’m glad ya like the cheap one , it’s only one that will ever see my tackle box .......I’d freak out throwing a $200 bait . Great info
"I'd freak out throwing a $200 bait." ...I'd bet that's the real reason he uses 65lb braid when throwing them...
I bet you would buy ALL the Hinkle’s you could at $250 today😂😂cool to come back to this old one.
Great video!!
#MFNation
How does the slammer compare to these swimbaits?
Great video, that under water viewing , now catch some Donk's...
Review a budget Amazon airbrush kit, and lure blanks for painting your own lures 👍
Lets see some chatter baits underwater with different size spoons and how to work them!
FINALLY. I've been trying to use RUclips for a long ass minute
U use any other swimbaits before than the glide baits ?
Great video. Would you say you catch more on the Hinkle because you use it more, or you see the difference in bites? They're some pricey baits, but always curious if they work better than say deps 250 if used equally.
Great video bro you should look into the Hiroshima Glide baits, and HPH Glide baits. The HPH is a glidebait that you can fish faster than most Glide baits, plus it's super realistic.
Milliken can you do a comparison of soft magnum swim baits, the Jenko, the babe, Huddleston, magnum kietechs and smashtech convict
for those wondering the reason the smaller baits don't glide as wide is because of their size . They can only have so much mass behind each glide, so most will glide about 1-2 times their body length. Slide swimmer 250 definitely is the best glide bait
..... I like it Ben, I'd like to see a video from this month though.....
(P.s. tell Zark I say hey...thnx)

What size line do you use
Now you need a video for deticated rods.
For the money hands down River2sea!
You’re the reason I got into swim baits. I’ve lost two already! What are your thoughts on the Mega Bass Mag Draft? I got the 6” and have yet to hook up with it.
I've caught giants on it. Look at Oliver ngys weedless mod vid.

Would have been nice to see an I slide next to the line up as well.
Lol I just watch that video.
Would love to see a video on how to properly retrieve a chatterbait. Especially if you had a camera angle that showed how you move the rod and reel
And my fishing rod is rather soft 10-30 grams.
Do an underwater testing of the jig and chatterbaits
Surprised you didnt include the 6th Sense flow glider in this video. I just got to test mine out on the lake today. I had problems with it wanting to only run left. Any thoughts? Awesome video!
i have the same problem. did it ever start swimming correctly?
