"55 Days at Peking" is a song about the Boxer Rebellion that happened in China 1899-1901, more specifically about the Siege of the International Legations and the Relief of Peking.
Transliterated Lyrics:
Toki wa issen kyuu hyaku nen
Gojiyuu go nichi no Pekin yo
Nikudan aitsu giwa anjiken
Rengou-gun o mukou ni mawashi
Essen idomu boudou no yakara
Furansu, Igirisu, Itaria, Roshia
Sarani kuwaete shouei Nihon
Hana no Pekin imaya Shino-gai
Shinkoku nyotei no goureiikka
Rengou-gun ni totsugeki kakeru
Shimo no furui no shinkoku heishi
Han-sei shikai ni todoroki watari
Doramu rappa mo mata tamashii
Hana no Pekin ima yaki no umi
Lyrics in English:
The year was nineteen hundred
It continued for fifty-five days in Peking
It was the Boxer Rebellion, the intense battle where human bullets collided with each other
They made enemies of the Allied Forces
The rioters challenged the decisive battle to the Allies
France, Britain, Italy, and Russia
In addition, they attacked the flowers of the Japanese
Now, the glorious Peking is the death city
Under the orders of the Qing Empress
They mounted a charge on the Allied Forces
The Qing soldiers came running desperately toward us
Their war cry resounded throughout the city
The drums and bugles resounded as brave as their fight throughout the battlefield
The once glamorous city of Peking now engulfed in flames
Ok so i have to say a few things about this version, I don't speak japanese so there are high chances that the japanese and the transliterated lyrics are wrong in some parts of the video, the english lyrics are poetic meaning that they may not translate literaly what was said in the song (I choosed to do it because if I just translated the lyrics they would be extremely strange and would make zero sense).
If anyone that is reading this comment knows what I did wrong please tell me so i can fix my mistakes.
And the next version will be the Spanish one, so stay tunned!
I am Japanese. Thank you for posting. You must point out some.
I think this is correct🥺

@@Tokukyu thank you so much for pointing out my mistakes, my friend!
The intro sounds like the start of an old movie.
It kinda is
Edit:for some context it was a song included in the movie 55 Days at Peking not at the start but in the ends credit scene
The song is from the movie 55 days at Pekín, an american film recorded on Spain. That's why the Spanish version exists, Spain was not part of the coalition.
Well really Spain did participate in the signing of the allied victory
Spain supported the coalition politically, they also had an area in the foreign neighborhood of Peking
WE TAKING PEKING WITH THIS SHIT🗣🔥
You’re right, it is a shit
Bro really said"🚨🚨🚨🚨💥💥💥💥💥"
Exact lyrics↓
{English}
The year is 1900.
55 days in Beijing.
The Yihe Dan Incident, a bloody battle.
Allied forces on the other side.
Rioters fighting a decisive battle.
France, Britain, Italy, Russia
plus the elite Japanese.
Once glamorous Beijing is now a city of death.
Under the command of the empress Qing,Qing soldiers charge the Allied Forces.
Qing soldiers in a frenzy of death.
The roar of the rioters roars through the city.
Drums and trumpets sound in the streets.
Once glamorous Beijing is now a sea of fire.
