Interesting, I now build Trabaccolo from Amati ( have some wooden ships build from fishing vessel to the third rate ) and I prefer smaller models ( place to display ) and Polacca looks very interesting as I like non mainstream models. By the way, didn't xebeck could be also rigged as polacca with mixed square and lateen rig and as frigate? I would definitely want to see such build/conversion.

You can have a look at the French evolution of the Xebec, the Greek Xebec of 1790, the Genoa Pinco, the Ligurian squared Pinco. These ships with mixed rig are part of a transition period
