Very important. If you want to be able to sing well.
Been 4 years since I've been practicing with you, you've improved me so much, and I didn't even use the exercises daily, thank you jeff :')
Thank you so much for watching and singing along! Enjoy singing! Enjoy your voice!
Jeff
I sing Renaissance Polyphony with my choir ... this is super helpful!
Jeff, I've been struggling (and still struggle) with aural skills since I started music. I never expected tou have you help me on this as well, yet here we are! I love that you are exploring these ideas in your channel, and would like to encourage you to keep going. Sincerely, Kahn.
Thank you, Kahn! It's all a part of being a musician, but I do keep these releases for weekdays. Still sending out warm ups and vocal exercises on Saturday!
Thank you for watching!
Jeff
Aloha! Jeff! Your instruction in every aspect is really helpful for my singing. I am agree with importance of ear training in order to sing in perfect pitch. I am watching your channel every single day from a small island in the pacific ocean.
Your lesson is inspiration to me. I thank you very much!!! Masa
Hello Masa!
That is so amazing to think of! I never imagined such a thing. I am so glad to be a part of your music studies. Thank you for watching and thank you for being here!
All the best,
Jeff
Love this. Trying to improve my musicianship as well as my singing- any more videos in this vein would be well appreciated.
They're coming! I'm going to go through a whole series of these to delineate a process to work on it.
Thank you!

Wow. Fabulous! Thank you!
Exactly what I need👍🏽
Thank you!
Just great. Thank you :)
I just got to the site :-) I think it is going to be fun. Oh no... I am really bad at recognising intervals on the pentagram now ... I was out of exercise. Thanks for this website BTW
How do I get to the website?
You´re such a kind man, Jeff! :-)
A HUGE THANK YOU Mister ROLKA!!! I use to work out with your videos and i really Love your work. I REALLY NEED to improve my ear it causes me a Lot problem. Any advices???
Start with what I present in this video, and stay tuned for the next video on the subject!
Best,
Jeff
Thank you Sir!!!!
I think in the US you study Armonia Funzionale by watching this video. I studied Armonia in the classic way (and some counterpoint ). When the atonality comes in I don't know what the functions of the scale are for :))) I tend to dislike atonality. But memorising intervals with associations of tunes always work for me ( almost always )
:-)
2nd M, 3th m and 3th M are the ones that can still get me all mixed up. And 7th M..
:-( . I still go wrong one third or fourth of the times after many years.
I got a question. I started to train on the Phoo vowel and do a lot of top down exercises and then something amazing happened. I figured out that if I just focused on that spot I would hit the pitch consistently. It's a placement and once you get it you can pretty much stay on pitch the entire time unless you lose focus.
Thanks for your comment! What exactly is your question?
Best!
Jeff
Hey, nice video! I have a question thou, I can match pitch on the piano without a problem, but when I sing a song I can't tell if I am singing the right note unless I am really really off. Any advice?
Thanks for watching and thanks for your question! I'd say this is the right video series for that. You have to do the practices in the videos, of course, though. Your overall acuity will increase as your ear training develops. This isn't about matching pitch on a piano, but being able to conceptualize of it internally. All the best!
Jeff
