This was great, I’d love more videos on this topic please. Maybe including a few lower notes than this too!
Baritones, Im Jeff Rolla a Ka ha ha ha ... Jeff I have been waking up almost every morning for the past 4 years... I have trouble getting up, so I lay in bed put one of your videos and do the exercises and after about 15 twenty mins I'm ready to face the world.. I usually do 40 mins but sometimes ill do an hour or so. YOU have really help me re connect my voice to my body and YOU are the architect of my reestablishment of my breath bridge and my thought process/// I am forever in your debt....
Thank you so much! I appreciate that and am glad that the videos have been helping! Keep it up! Thanks for being a subscriber!
Thank you very much Jeff! I am fulfilling a dream by finally taking singing lessons at 43. A great challenge as I learn to hear is translating piano notes to vocal sounds in my head so this is very helpful for practicing 😀
Amazing how you're helping my voice.
Great voice lessons
Without any further ado at 3:02 😉 Thanks Jeff! 🐯

Thanks so much for the help, Jeff ! Your lessons are priceless. Please keep 'em coming !
Will do!
Jeff
You talk about things like engagement, air flow, and posture in quite a few of your videos, do you have any lessons that teach/focus on these topics specifically?
Yes. In short! The quick tip playlist will have the theory:

In terms of practical applications, I'm really fond of this video:

I just stumbled on to this Jeff; I really like it. I am a "scooper" and this is helping me overcome that. Thanks again my friend.
What’s a scooper ?
Beyond Magic: A person who comes in on a note below it and slides up to it. Probably due to lack of confidence in finding the note at the beginning. Some people do it in a really exaggerated manner and it’s really annoying.
This is my new favorite set of exercises. Thanks!
Sending a message from the misses you tube account here Mr Rolka! Thank you! Because of your videos I am developing steadily with my baritone voice! My band are on tour much because of you! Please keep it coming! Thank you for your kindness!
Fantastic! Enjoy your tour and may my videos serve you and your group well! Glad to hear that you're out there making music!
Jeff
Really helpful as always, Jeff! When can we expect the new guidebook to be released? Can't wait to purchase it! You are really a hero for many of us aspiring to develop our voices as much as we can. Appreciate the quality content you put out here and on your website as well!
Thank you for that! Yes, I am working on it right now! Well, not literally as I'm typing this, but I'm trying to get it done for Feb. 2019!
Jeff
This is favorite vocal video so far. I will share it with my friends who are singers.
Awesome! Thank you for sharing! These can be so zen if you allow your mind to focus into them. I hope you continue to enjoy!

Thank you Jeff!
Just had the pleasure of watching you teach, Jeff… Really enjoyed your clip… I like your techniques as well as your demeanor… I’ve been working with a female teacher for roughly 6 years now… Definitely enjoyable and I am considering working in a male vocal teacher as well… Do you offer private lessons?
Thanks for that! Yes! If you get in touch with me via my website I can give you all the details!
Great VIdeo practise! Amazing channel. keep doin' great job :) Dziękuję from Poland.
this is a wonderful resource, thank you..I wonder do you have any videos where you show how to apply techniques like this in actual songs (rather than on the plain vowel sounds)? thanks
Thank you! Yes, though admittedly I feel like I need to do more of these. Here's the playlist:

Thank you!
Jeff
You’re the best man!
If you had said which notes and octaves, it would be perfect!
This was exactly what I needed thank you so much
You're welcome! Thank you for watching!
Jeff
excellent
I love your vocal practice, I will suggest to include higher notes if posible, specially for baritones
They're there. Just look for full range or extended range videos. You'll find them all in here:

I been always been able to sing, but i recently realized that i am completely out of tune on a lot of my classical music that i love.... i thought i was okay now i realized i am terrible and need to fix it.
I don't speak English. " Melismatic sounds funny XD
wouldnt be suprised if it was an italian word
It sounds funny to us as well
Hiii

شكرا""""""
You're welcome! Thank you for watching!
Thank you, Good Sir. I want to improve my ear, and my ability to sing any melody i hear or think of in tune in the first attempt. Is this a realistic goal?
Absolutely realistic. Assuming you're warmed up and given yourself a reference pitch. Otherwise, you'll be in tune with yourself, but not necessarily A440. That requires absolute pitch which if you don't already have it, isn't something you can develop in adults.
Best!
Jeff
@@JeffRolka Yes Jeff, i have good relative pitch already, i am focused on fine tuning, as i am already playing guitar and singing my songs professionally. But i want to become expert/ virtuoso level, I love your videos. i have been studying music for about 8 years. I write music and record, i have 1 album completed and i am working on my second album, and I have decided to practice 6 days out of the week for two hours per day.I play with my guitar and or band or backing track, I just want to be faster, and sharper on my notes and more resonant. I am an eternal student of music.
What exactly is my voice then Jeff wrolka
Jeff I am here with you for 3 years ... How do I support you if I don't have patreon or anything
..
Do you have cashapp ?
Thank you so much! Thanks for watching and being here all this time! I really appreciate it. Yes, as it happens I do use the Cashapp. My ID is $supportjrolka
Thanks for asking about it and thanks for considering a contribution!
All the best,
Jeff
@@JeffRolka perfect. Thank you again bro.
I tried I really did; I'm sorry sir but I could not follow along at all at a beginner level.
Well, this isn't really a beginner video. You might try the videos here:

Is 2nd tenor more of a baritone singing voice
Not exactly. It's a choral part designation that may or may not indicate your actual fach (vocal range designation).
Best!
Jeff
Then what Is my voice
Are you trying to say I’m not a second tenor
I go from a C4 up to a A4
:)))))
What is my actual voice
If I’m not a second tenor
Depends on the characteristics of your voice:
