FAQs/Why would they do that?! Answers
We are so glad you are here! Welcome to our channel!
    1. We are in Oklahoma near the Arkansas border.
    2. We do this on a volunteer basis.
    3. Kim aka Mom is retired. Jennifer owns her own business as a massage therapist.
    4. We film multiple locations in one day since we can’t go out all the time given Jen’s full time job. You may not see all the locations we filmed that day in one video.
    5. You may see other people in our videos at times including Granny aka Sue (mom’s mom), Jeff (Kim’s husband and Jennifer’s dad), or Jessica (Jennifer’s little sister) and Lucy (our beautiful, amazing, wonderful dog).
    6. Many wonder why we put stuff down culverts. A few reasons: it provides help for wildlife, we like to and it would have gone downstream anyway. If it blocks another culvert then we will take care of that too but most of the locations we visit are in incredibly rural areas where there won’t be another culvert for miles.
    7. We care about wildlife and never want to cause harm to them. The only reason we will clear a beaver damn is if it is threatening land or roads that can not be accessed any other way. It may not be the road directly within sight but a farm road close by.
    8. We appreciate advice in the comments. We understand that we will receive constructive criticism in the comments. What we won’t allow is the calling of names, derogatory terms, or just plain calling us stupid or idiots. We are all adults here and the internet is already a largely negative place as it is, let’s not add to it. We are people doing our best to help our neighborhood and planet by picking up trash and clearing culverts. Why do we deserve hate for that?
    9. You may not agree with or like the way we did something but that doesn’t mean we did it wrong. There is a right/wrong way to dismantle a bomb. Clearing culverts is up for interpretation to the one doing the work.
    10. We hope that you enjoy our videos and will keep coming back for more! Any other questions you have feel free to ask in the comments.

We apologize in advance for the mic scratching sounds. Jen tried her best to adjust the audio for it. Still trying to work out the best place to put it.

a couple of happy angels doing what they love to do

If I hear “I go check exit” I know it’s boring part because the most important thing happened front side. For exit side you have 2nd camera. Sorry but I don’t like it if mom walking around to see everything when daughter doing something on entry side. But still great work.

  • @ntepup77

If you clip it on the brim of your hat the audio will still be good and it won't get in your way or get wet. 💜💜💜

Hello there, I’m so glad you found something waterproof Jennifer. Too bad your feet are soaked in the cold water. I hope you had something hot to drink! Take care…👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻

  • @lightwavz

I absolutely love it when you two tackle the low water bridges and get the water to subside from the road! 🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏💪💪

I’ve just been watching an old video of yours where it was too deep for you to reach the culvert with your rakes. Have you considered a hook on a rope that you can throw across the distances.

Just an idea: Perhaps you could ask the county if they would supply t-posts and maybe a manual post driver, so you could put one just to the side of the entrance of each culvert? This would mark it so you can find them easily (Always put them on the same side of the entrances). It would also prevent those with backhoes from crushing the ends of the culverts! If you do make such a request, also ask for red or orange spray paint to mark the tops. This is for safety purposes.

An old-style bumper jack would be useful to open up those crushed culvert ends. Possibly you could find one at a junkyard. They are available for sale, but why spend the $$$?
