When you started 2as light on hard drive blinking? I have hard drive which show up in device manager but then disappears. Light keep blinking so it has power. I tried new cable and another laptop as well. What do you suggest

Thank you. I have a 1 TB SEAGATE BACKUP PLUS EXTERNAL HDD . I use it by attaching it with my honor 7x mobile through OTG for data transfer (bothside). I purchased it 11 months back from flipkart. I use it max once or twice in a month. I used it with desktop 3 times only since purchased. Yesterday when i was working with in by attaching it my mobile , suddenly one beep sound came and HDD light turned off. I performed safe remove process from top bar and after few seconds , it showed that " its safe to remove now" . I removed it and reattached it with mobile but no light no detection. Then again i removed safely and attached it in Sony laptop. It showed new usb driver installation. After completion of the same , no pop up came , no light on HDD , no drive shown in my computer . Then I went to printer & devices and found that it is showing the HDD there but when I went to its properties ; there is blank in VOLOUME TAB . In GENERAL TAB it is showing " device type : disk drive ; manufacturer : standard disk drive ; Location : on USB mass storage device ; device status : this device is working properly " . Another msg shows " windows cannot use this hardware device because it has been prepared for safe removal but it has not been removed from the computer (code 47) . To fix the problem , unplug this device from your computer and then plug in again ". I unmounted safely it by right clicking . Then reattached the same . Result is still same. Then removed. Restarted the laptop , attached again... same results... pls advise

I have segate 1 TB hard disk.
it’s not detecting.
I have removed USB circuit and direct installed the same in Desktop PC.
But in Desktop, also not detected.
Even not detect in BOOT Menu option in PC.
Can you help for this issue

Bro my hardisk is detecting but it's not inistallizing in windows it shows make it as gpt or mbr patition inistallizing disk and in linux also it's detecting and but partition aren't creating can you tell me it external hard drive corrupted or usb problem

Guys just leave it plugged in and wait for ages and it will appear. Get a new hd asap and plug it in and then wait for ages again untill it appears and back it up. Just leave the hard drive alone forever Don’t panic 👍

Mere pas 2TB ka seagate ka externally hard disk hai or connect Karte samay sirf led on rehta or beep sound karta hai show nahi ho raha hai or usme 1TB ka mera personal data hai
