She tried not to belt it out because of the small venue, but when she did the big-ass chandelier rattled. I won't go into now but she was put in a tough spot that night and she still killed it. Was at the sold out concert in Portsmouth. Sang 18 songs and she was awesome. Even did a costume change half way through. She asked for no video to be recorded so you might not see much from the concert. After singing Unchained Melody the entire concert hall crowd were on their feet.

The guitarist, Ivan Mendez, said in an interview that maintaining his concentration was the hardest part of playing for Angelina. She just sucks you in & you forget what you're doing. The only time they did a 2nd take on their many home recordings, was when he messed up, because she never did. He is also hearing this for the 1st time, because it was impromptu with no rehearsal. Just Angelina singing it her way while reading the lyrics offscreen to her left.

I know what you mean about her hand movements. Her hands and fingers are as delicate as her voice, and just float along, adding to the mesmerizing quality of her voice. The total picture is such a work of art.

Appreciated your comments in the Tee Livestream...do not think they gave her the production she deserves in New Hampshire....this young lady is a world class vocalist and deserves the very best band, sound engineering and stage production there is, from what I have seen in various clips, not even close, maybe it was better live for those who attended but none of it looked very professional unfortunately.
@@CarlD70As far as I know the concert had nothing to do with republic records , this was purely a family organised event .not sure it's a good idea to have less than best professional, production, sound engineer etc for Angelina going forward , maybe a good lesson learned . I know we all hear the technical skills, the nuances she is adding in here Thanks Dan!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰 Rihanna was around 25 when she recorded this with full production, lest we not forget that...seems many folk seen to for get that the originals she is covering were full on produced, mixed, auto tuned and all that fun stuff.....these are RAW vocals from a child!!!!

Came from Costa Rica to Boston on thursday, then her concert on Friday night, then traveled thru 5 states by train to New York City, Saturday and Sunday nights went to see Wicked and Hamilton! Both were good but no where close to being as great as Angelina's concert! Arrived back home in Costa Rica last night about 12:30! Fantastic 5 days, but now will do nothing but rest for several days!

Oh yeah, the headphones are a must to more completely enjoy the AJ experience. Without them you have been missing out and wonder how is that possible? The guy playing the guitar stated in an interview that it was very difficult to focus on playing because she was so good it was distracting. He couldn't believe how good she is, and we see it in his face often. She is sitting down and reading the song from her device. 12 years old, Effortlessly!! Anytime you want to play one again, because you couldn't believe it the first time, we understand and are good with it.

Yeah... I remember doing just what you're doing when I first heard her sing many of these songs. Now, watching you react, I just sit here and wipe tears of joy from my eyes because someone else is experiencing just how amazing this girl is. So many songs that I've listened to numerous times and as you said, never really heard them until Angelina 'uncovered them'. "Suspicious Minds" and "My Funny Valentine" are 2 of the biggest, because I've heard them being sung hundreds of times, and then Angelina showed me what I was missing all those times before.
I think it is Alan Papier did a video about how these easy sessions developed. They invited the guitarist to their home. There was no plan beyond he would play and she sang. They went through songs and when they landed on one they recorded it like this.

produced by her after numerous takes and utilized a total professional
studio set up to enhance it. Angelina's rendition is an 'at home' casual
product where her friend Ivan is accompanying her on guitar. Neither of
them were totally familiar with the song so Ivan just follows Angelina's
lead as she has to constantly look at a tablet to her side for the lyrics.
Still, she's able to rearrange the song 'on the fly' and brings forth a more
emotion laden rendition than Rhianna. It should be noted that Rhianna
has sold over a hundred million records and has been noted by Forbes

She is just incredible she's makes every song her own there are many songs that she sings that I would never listen to but when she sings them i seem to love anything she does, she's such a joy.💗👣

This is one of my fav' covers by AJ. I agree with you about how people just hear music, I've always said that most people hear music but don't listen to music. If you ever find a duff one from Angelina it's usually outside of her control, bad sound/recording, a cold, issues with equipment or severe jet lag, something like that. Keep doin' what you're doin'. 👍
