Every song she does is No.1 in my book. Holy mother of pearl. 🙈 AJ is a diamond in the rough. I've followed her since NGT and she never gets old. A blessed child who blesses us with her soulful sounds. Never repeated singers as much as her. She feels like family now. 😍

Leave it to Angelina to take a song I already liked and make it even better. She can also take songs I didn't like and make me like them. Angelina is not just a cover artist, she is a song interpreter. She can interpret songs in a way that somehow makes me understand them in ways I never did before. ...and she does it again and again ...song after song.

Spot on Rusty. Angie doesn't do covers, she takes lyrics & Angelinalizes them & you can't help but fall in love with them & her for what she represents.

This, of course, is Rhianna's "Stay", and her version is terrific. Angelina is 12 here, and words just can't describe how good her performance is. For me, better than the original. When Angelina came to the U.S. she (her family) bought this great Nuemann microphone that she is using. It picks up everything, so both the good and not so good are magnified. She has made several recordings with it, and some with Ivan on the guitar. And this is one of them. They are soooo good! I put "Stay" at the top of her performances with this mike, along with "California Dreamin'" and "A Million Years Ago", all with Ivan. All three are in my Top 10 of Angelina's performances. 😊💕
Her interpretation of Young and Beautiful is up there with some of my favorites from her. And this one and a million years ago and born to die and shield and California dreamin and a song forA and and and....... 130 songs and more i hope!

You two are right. When asked if she was nervous during her performance, Angelina replied "No, never. When I sing, I am in my own world". When I hear Angelina sing I have the feeling that she takes me with her. ✌️😎🇩🇪🇪🇺💯
Most singers use Autotune to polish their vocals in studio. Not so with Angelina. What you hear is for real To me, her unpolished vocals are the tools for emotions, and this makes her a great performer. And when you know that she is fearless on stage, having full controll when singing, she is able to convey her artistry in full.
Her versatility enables her to be a musical chameleon. Much like a chameleon can
change outward color, Angelina is able to change her vocals to any form she wishes
and she does it effortlessly. Doesn't matter when you have her 5 octave range,
whether it's doing a Whitney song or anything in all the lower registers.
Angelina is in her own world when she is singing I suffer from chronic Anxiety so I just lay on my sofa listening to Angelina and she always takes me to Angelina's world and I mean this she really helps me so much with my anxiety I always feel so relaxed when I'm listening to Angelina but not only that I don't think anyone can touch her she is so special I just adore her ❤️from Denise in England 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️😘👼🏻bye👋XX

I respect Angelina as much as she respects music. What should be an impossibility is happening right before our ears, over and over again. Angelina is my favorite singer, and the human she is adds to the totality of this young lady. Thanks again Family, thumbs up.
can't wait for it. this is my number one Angelina's performance. She was only 12 here and with impeccable vibrato she sung this song beautifully. I can say with confidence she is the true vibrato master. none equal.
I agree, Kham. Her vibrato is magnificent. And it will only get better as she matures. But the best vibrato I've ever heard is Dinah Washington on "What a Difference a Day Makes" Here's a mash up of Angelina and Dinah on that song: ruclips.net/video/BM87RyQQWcQ/видео.html Angelina is 8 here, and Dinah is 35 and wins a Grammy for her performance. Angelina's vocal fry is just so hard to believe for an 8 year old. If you could remove her vocal fry and Dinah's vibrato, they sound almost identical, and considering their age difference, that's just beyond belief. This is one of my favorite Angelina performances. 😊
@@wajj1842 I just visited that link you provided. you are right. I could barely tell the difference. The visual helps. But when I closed my eyes and only listened, they are eerily similar. They blend almost perfectly.

Thank you guys for your reaction to the most brilliant performance of Stay I have ever heard. Here we have the best singer in the world at her finest. And even though she reads the lyrics from time to time, she was able to create an absolute masterpiece, together with the phenomenal Ivan Mendez with just a mic and a guitar. The texture, pure emotions and soul she puts in this beautiful rendition are not from this world. This is unbelievable! One of the all time great by Angelina. Every time I listen to this, I'm going to another world.

Most of Angelina's covers are like this, just sitting with a guitarist (Egil in Norway, Ivan in the US) or a backing track. When she looks away she's reading the lyrics. These are like practice sessions (after school concerts). Hope you guys will go back a little more and checkout 'What a Difference a Day Makes'. It's a live outdoor performance when she was eight. Stunning.
I am glad you guys enjoyed Angelina's Stay. While Rihanna's version is great, her music video is great, I truly believe Angelina was able to do more, a lot more with less. Just a 12 year old in her living room, accompanied by the awesome guitarist Ivan, Angelina delivered in one take, imo the best version of Stay. I don't remember how many times I have listened to this. And it's still beautiful every single time.

Great reaction! This is one of her most amazing covers ( they're all amazing). She puts so much emotion into this song. Why would you ever leave if someone asked you to stay like this? I'm not a big Rihanna fan either, but I did like Stay. Now I have Angelina's version...sorry Rihanna. Angelina shares so much of her heart and soul. The force is strong with this one. Those last three Stay runs are out of this world (or from Angelina's inner world). So good!

that was hilarious... after the "I'm not a big fan of Rihanna" and Mrs doing a funny face I was thinking "divorce is coming" and then Mrs King leaves the stage... love it
I read all the comments and no one left you a next request so I guess I should do that. There so so many I sit here perplexed, I have so many favorites. This one would be very fun for the whole family, It is a music video made by her grandmother, some of her grandmother's videos don't capture the feel of the music but this one is great, I love it and it will leave you smiling. "When Your Smiling". And I will list another one that is amazing "What A Difference A Day Makes" when she was 8, also there is a mash-up of Angelina singing a verse and Dianah Washington singing a verse. After watching this mash-up I know who her voice is similar to. How does she sound like a 35-year-old woman at 8, mind-blowing? Maybe you could play the performance and part of the mash-up. The first suggestion is for the family, the second the kiddos may not be as interested in. Also when you see Angelina look off to the side she is looking at the words, she has not practiced this song enough to memorize the words, I always wonder how much better it would be had she practiced a little more before recording,

I've never heard Rhianna's version because I'm not a fan of hers. but I love the song and the way Angelina's version.
Iven Mendez is Angelina's go to guitarist when in America. He also did guitar for her at AGT Champions, Bohemian Rhapsody. He does have his own utube channel. Every song AJ sings moves me one way or the other....music for the soul.
Angelina has an acute sense of understanding of what the lyrics meaning and intent is. She feels the poetry of the lyrics. She interprets the lyrics with an uncanny ability to feel and convey the naked soul, passion and emotional essence of the song.
Before closing my eyes to sleep I used to listen to English nightingales singing..now I listen to Angelina..she's utterly divine.

Hi you 2, it's been away since you did an Angie reaction. I agree with you on this, but I like it better than the original (no disrespect to Rihanna) It's just Angie's tonality & timbre etc. You feel her telling you a story from her heart even when she's looking over to double check the words. I really like the Rihanna version, but I gotta say Angilinas cover is just as good. The original doesn't have anything on this version. This is a bit different but just as good.
