OK, Born Angelina Jordan Astar in Oslo, Norway January 10th of 2006. Ver international family. Dad is a Swedish engineer for a oilcompany operating world wide, Mom Sarah is norwegian. Sarah and her brother uncle Michael are kids of Iranian paintress and poetress Mery Zamany and her japanese husband. The reason why Angelina speaks fluently Norwegian, Swedish, persian Farsi and Japanese. In school she learnd German and French. She plays piano and guitar. She practices since the age of 3,5, self-taught. For technical advise she went to the music academy since age 4, besides school later on. Famous she became in Asia, when she entered Norway Got Talent in 2014 at age 7. No kiddisongs!!! Billie Holliday, Gershwin and Nancy Sinatra. At age 12 she was invited to his 85th birthday party in London´s O2 Arena by Mr. Quincey Jones. Today at age 17 she finished school and is now officially a pro singer. She started with an explosion music vise. Her EP is THE new sort of Jazz. Mixing genres and stiles to poppy jazz. The little girl from 2014 is now something around 6,1 ft tall and looks like a super model. Last year 2022 she had concerts in her home country Norway. At five she tells her Mother she wants to sing at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert. At five she try’s to audition for Norway’s Got Talent, but is told she is too young and must be seven. At six while living in the Middle East she meets an orphaned child, where her legend begins. At seven she auditions for Norway’s Got Talent. At eight she wins Norway’s Got Talent. She was absolutely born with it, but I read somewhere that she was practicing 35 hours a week by age 11. And when she wasn't doing 35 hours week, she was probably thinking of singing anyways. lol. So, there is a story about why Angelina Jordan preforms without shoes. When she was a (younger) girl she meet another young girl who didn't have any shoes and Angelina gave this girl her shoes. The young girl was so thankful she said she will always be praying for her success. Angelina tributes some of her success to the this young girls prayers and preforms without shoes to remember her and bring awareness to kids in need.

The reason she sings barefoot is that when she was six years old, she met a poor girl who had d no shoes. Angelina gave the girl her shoes, and vowed she would always sing barefoot until all children had shoes. A humanitarian at 6 years old.

Her early influences are Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington, and Etta James to name a few. Her love of jazz came from her grandmother playing jazz music around her when she was young. In 2014, she entered at age 7 and won Norway's Got Talent at the age of 8. At age 13, she was invited to participate on America's Got Talent: The Champions in 2020. She shocked the audience and the judges with her rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. Alma has a similarly wonderful giving caring heart and beautiful compassionate vision of bringing beautiful music to the world, is just a year older, is also amazing with music, and is also worth every moment to listen to, I hope one day that they meet and collaborate their two very different areas of music together since they otherwise have so much in common. You might review Alma’s sixty minutes polka she improvised from four random notes when she was very young. Alma’s talents lie in the classical music area. She is a virtuoso on piano and violin, sings rarely but sooo sweetly, composes melodies, orchestral pieces, and operas, and at 18 years of age is now conducting her own works. So, there is a story about why Angelina Jordan preforms without shoes. When she was a (younger) girl she meet another young girl who didn't have any shoes and Angelina gave this girl her shoes. The young girl was so thankful she said she will always be praying for her success. She sings many genres, but she’s an old soul!! The reason she sings barefoot is that when she was six years old, she met a poor girl who had d no shoes. Angelina gave the girl her shoes, and vowed she would always sing barefoot until all children had shoes. A humanitarian at 6 years old.
Angelina started singing at 18 months, so when she says she wanted to sing for Simon at 3 years old, she knew what she wanted. Heidi gave her the golden buzzer, they are still friends today.

She's basically been a star since she was 7 years old. First and foremost, she is a jazz singer but has the ability to sing any genre. She also does all of her own musical arrangements. Her early influences are Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington, and Etta James to name a few. Her love of jazz came from her grandmother playing jazz music around her when she was young. In 2014, she entered at age 7 and won Norway's Got Talent at the age of 8. With her new found fame, she used it to appear on many shows from abroad and help raise millions for the less fortunate children around the world. At age 13, she was invited to participate on America's Got Talent: The Champions in 2020. She shocked the audience and the judges with her rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes.
Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true.
Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East. Note: I love Angelina. My daughter found her when Angelina was on NGT. We’ve followed her ever since, and are going to her concert in New Hampshire on Sept 22, 2023.
If you really follow all sorts of musicians, then I wonder if you’ve heard of a contemporary of Angelina, Alma Deutscher. Alma has a similarly wonderful giving caring heart and beautiful compassionate vision of bringing beautiful music to the world, is just a year older, is also amazing with music, and is also worth every moment to listen to,
I hope one day that they meet and collaborate their two very different areas of music together since they otherwise have so much in common. You might review Alma’s sixty minutes polka she improvised from four random notes when she was very young. Alma’s talents lie in the classical music area. She is a virtuoso on piano and violin, sings rarely but sooo sweetly, composes melodies, orchestral pieces, and operas, and at 18 years of age is now conducting her own works.
One day, I’ll see my two very very favorite musicians together. In the mean time, I’m thrilled to finally see and hopefully meet Angelina in person at her upcoming concert!
Angelina!! Gotta check out her cover of I'd Rather Go Blind, You Say, I Put a Spell On You, etc. Cannot go wrong with anything she covers. She also a published author in Norway at 9 years old! Touched by all the soul Angels during creation! 💜 Loved your reaction!

Great reaction!!!...I always like watching a reactor's mind being blown! In Her Norway's Got Talent Audition, judge Lisa Tønne Told 7 year old Angelina " You ARE Music". and she was right. I know the large catalog of RUclips videos available must be somewhat daunting, but Angelina's fans ("Angels") will recommend their favorites... However Angelina is so very talented that you could select a tune at random and the odds would be in favor of landing on an Amazing classic performance! She is adept at Jazz, Blues, R&B, Adele songs (Big Time! Try "All I Ask"!!), and has just released a 6 song EP of ALL originals called "Old Enough" Where Every Song Is good enough to be a Top Ten Hit if played on the radio! I worked in Record Stores from the late Seventies until 2001. I have heard every singer of the last 100 Years of recorded music, and No One I've ever heard surpasses the Vocal Ability of Angelina Jordan.
