@@ethansaviation2672 Kermit DAFrog doesn't know what he's talking about. The 747 prototype along with the 367-80(707 prototype at the Smithsonian) was used to test air refueling, and the engines for the 757, 767 and the 777 up until the 1990s. After some maintenance it's still airworthy. You don't build the prototype for view; that what mock ups are for.(For you young people, mock ups have been replaced by computer generated technology).
Such an iconic aircraft 😊
Oh finally someone did something, we should never let such historical planes like this ever be neglected
Nice to see she wasn't scrapped. Such a special aircraft series, and she's the first off the line!
I was in Everett to watch it fly on its Maiden flight. nice to see them restoring it! my dad help build it.
If the 747 stopped in production and in service, they need to get all prototype aircrafts of the 747 variants and fly them together
Most of them are scrapped
How wonderful!!! So good to see a national treasure get some well deserved respect it deserves :)
that american 727 can use some tlc as well!
They should put it in a hanger so it always stays in top condition.
They are enclosing the whole area
I wonder if can still fly
Why don't you do a fundraiser to restore a 747 and make it flyable?
Flying an aircraft costs millions of dollars
Just the engines are far more than that.
can it still fly ??
Nostalgia... how great..
Could you do another video on what it looks like now. Thanks
Next. Would it fly again?
i will like to see it airworthy
So this is RA001?
wasnt the first 747 crashed by pan am in tenerife airport disaster?
I was part of the crew that repainted it.
Thank you.
Thank-you x2
Is the first 747-100 still air worthy to fly ?
I don't think so. #5 is the oldest airworthy one
O Khan seriously ? That’s so sad 😞
i want to be there.
Sadly it got retired in December 6 2022 :
