Hello! will MSI KATANA GF66 11SC SERIES 15.6-INCH 144HZ FHD IPS LCD LED LAPTOP SCREEN (1920X1080, 40 PIN) work for MSI Katana GF66 12UE (my laptop is GF 66 12UE, i can only find online GF 11SC model. Will it work for GF 12UE?)
The screen we have listed for the GF66 12UE is the same as for GF66 11SC: 144Hz IPS www.laptopscreen.com/8671910/ What screen do you have in your GF66 12UE now? We also have a couple of upgrades available for either of these computers - a higher color gamut 144Hz screen and a 165Hz version. Click the Upgrade Options button.
hello, i did this and the new screen doesn't display anything. tried to reconnect the old one (which was working but I wanted to replace it because of two nicks on it) and it works fine so i'm pretty sure I didn't damage the laptop's cables or anything it's just the new screen who doesn't work and i'm wondering what the problem could be
Possibly a manufacturer's white list - a software lock in BIOS that doesn't let the new LCD turn on because 'reasons'. An upgraded screen will likely work, like a 165Hz, click Upgrade Options: www.laptopscreen.com/English/model/MSI/KATANA~GF66~11SC~SERIES/
@@Laptopscreen thank you but i happened to fix the problem already - apparently with the force it took me to remove the screen I bent a little the metal above the pins of the ribbon cable so I guess it wasn't stable. I used the plastic pick to fix it straightening the piece and it's been working flawlessly so far 🤞 thanks for the tutorial !
Do you know how to loosen up the hinge? I tried to use a plier but it's too hard because of the metal thing blocking it on the side, my hinge is already broken so im trying to fix it with epoxy bit first i have to loosen it so it doesnt break again
@@Smoothaltheleet are you guys talking about the bottom hinge? I want to try to replace mine but if you guys have any tips to share then it would be greatly appreciated Edit: oh you guys meant the corner hinges holding up the screen? what was the issue with that?

Ordering from you because of your video. Thank you.
How was your experience doing it? im seeing some talk about the difficulty of replacing the hinges.
Are there any tips recommended for making sure we don't do any damage? I'm seeing some people mention that the hinges gave them problems
No tiene reparación de la pantalla? O se necesita cambio?
Can you please make one for msi vector gp68hx too 🥰
thank you for this video!
Sir, I want to ask: My MSI Katana laptop has white lines under the toolbar, so the problem is the flexible cable, or the inverter?
Thanks
Hello, if I use a stationary double sided tape will it work?
Where should I buy the screen for this laptop? I have the same laptop so what model is it?
can you change your screen without disconnecting the in built battery ?
this model looks like msi katana 15 b12v. any idea whether it should be the same? and will the webcam be in the way when prying open the bezel?
It will be very similar. They are all very similar. Exercise caution, if something won't budge, think and look twice before using brute-force.
What is cost of 15.6 inch msi lcd screen???please

I have a gf66 12uc will any 12uc lcd screen work?
That laptop uses a specific 144Hz 40-pin screen and there are not any other options, so it'll likely work.
@@Laptopscreen thank you I've already ordered my new screen and will follow your tutorial!
i have the same gf66 12 uc, the original screen has really bad color gamut, so i upgraded it from b156han08.4 to nv156fhm-ny5 and it works flawlessly
@@rnrkihow was your experience?
Can't you leave the protective film on the screen to keep it clean?!
