Uh... even if your battery is not removable you need to open up the bottom and disconnect it. I just melted the connector on the cord trying to get it in. Now even more of a pain in the ass to fix this screen.
Exactly. Had a bunch of laptops with shorted caps, connectors, damaged (brand new) displays etc. after ppl trying to replace their screens without disconnecting the battery first.
Hey, nice video. Maybe You know how to fix left side screen hinges, its goes out with screws and plastic peaces from screen holding panel? Thanks anyway.
WARNING MAKE SURE YOU LAPTOP BATTERY IS NOT ONLY TURNED OFF BUT IF REMOVABLE REMOVE IT BEFORE YOU SHORT THE WHOLE BOARD

Does replacing the bezel this way also work for MSI GL75Leopard? The screen is fine, but the bezel is broken at the corner and I wanna replace it
i have a msi gs65 stealth 9se 30 pin LCD and i bought a 40 screen by mistake. What happens if you connect my 30-pin laptop to a 40-pin?
Most likely short out the display connecttion on the motherboard, but you’ve probably figured that out by now or didn’t try.
REMOVE ALL POWER SOURCES, INCLUDING BATTERY
Is preferred but not necessary
Did the laptop display work after the monitor was replaced?
Yes
I've got the same question, just dod mine and it the machine won't show signs of life
Any idea why the screen suffers from this problem?
@@BillyBob-fn7ff Most likely your screen was either DOA or you have some damaged connectors or other issues with the laptop.
That's because you do not remove BATTERY! You damaged the motherboard
Tq very much sir
You are welcome. Glad the video helped.
one of the worst MSI computers, crappy assembly and disassembly design, poor dissipation.
