Yes, my Dad had a distinctive shop smell. He always loved tinkering in his garage. One evening we were having a party in our shop and I had a strong whiff of my ol' pops. I asked my husband if he could smell it and he said yes. I knew my dad was with us at the party. Awesome memory!
My husband recently passed away. A couple weeks ago, I was just waking up and I started smelling coffee. His normal daily routine was wake up, brush teeth, grind coffee beans, and brew his morning cup of coffee. It was very comforting to me.
My mom passed away a little over a week ago. It was last day of family being together as everyone was ready to fly home in few hours My sisters and I started to smell the perfume we sprinkled on mom after her final preparations before the funeral The smell was intense in two bedrooms I knew it was mom, we made prayers together and said love you to the spirit 💕
Sometimes When I’m leaving the house to get in the car, I will smell men’s cologne , Obsession. I know without a doubt it’s my Daddy. That’s the cologne he always wore and without fail before I left the house he would always say, “ Please be careful and safe”. So, when I do smell his cologne like .. I stop dead in my tracks, smile, look up and say “ Of course Daddy, I love you” ! When the scent is there, it’s very strong. I laugh because I would always say to him, “ My lord did you bathe in that cologne” ! There absolutely can not be a more clearer sign that he is connecting than that!
After my son had passed away, I have smelled his scent many times. Also, one morning before I had walked into the kitchen, I had smelled breakfast cooking and asked him if he was making me breakfast. I was the only one in the house and I did not not have anything cooking in the kitchen. I thanked him for that. I had to leave the house for a couple of hours and when I came back the breakfast smell was still there.
My husband passed on Jan 21st in NY. That Valentines Day, it was a cold snowy day and I got in my car. I closed the door and instantly smelled roses, my favorite flower. I believe it was him letting me know he was with me and remembering Valentine's Day. What do you think?
For the first time last night going home before I went to the second floor of my house my grandmother perfume was on the steps I’m like grandma is here!
Yes, my husbands dirty greasy mechanic clothes. He hated getting dirty & he was a heavy equipment mechanic. I'm glad to know I have not gone crazy. Thank you Blair
I have smelled my grandma's bath powders she used. My dad's cologne, and my step dad's scent when he came in from work. It's undeniable and out of nowhere.
205 views and only 18 thumbs up?! come on guys. It only takes two seconds to reach your finger up there and point at that thumb LOL Love never dies and neither does a thumbs up! Give him one🙌😎
When my mom passed i was in an elevator with about 5 other people. All of a sudden the elevator was overwhelmed with a lilac type very pretty smell. I asked if anybody was wearing perfume. Nobody was and nobody could smell what i smelled within minutes i received a call that my mom had passed. The irony of this was that she always told me about her remembering smelling an intense lilac smell when her mom passed. I truly believe my mom knew i would recognize this and was her way of letting me know she was gone. I will never forget the intense experience or smell that overwhelmed me but nobody else could smell
Your mom smelled the intense lilac smell when her mom passed.....maybe what you smelled was not only your mom passing, but letting you know your grandmother, her mom, was there helping her cross and not to worry. She was in good hands.
My father used to wash with Imperial Leather soap. I often wake up to that smell under my nose in the wee small hours. It’s not remotely like any scent I would use, or washing powder. It’s definitely him. It gives me a good chance to talk as we didn’t before he died. Which gives me a sense of peace.
I have smelled a scent, but not sure it was his scent. I had always suspected it was my grandfather. When I smell floral, I believe it’s my mom, she died when I was 4. On the other hand, when my husband passed away, I would smell his clothes in my closet, for a year. One time, I smelled his clothes and as I did so, they smelled “dusty” and I heard a whisper, “Let me go...” so I took that as a sign it was time and ok for me to pack his clothes away. 💙💜
My mom passed away about two weeks ago. Only my dad and I were with her during her final hours. Approximately an hour before she passed, I smell something sweet and flowery. I have never smelt something like this before. It was be unique and peaceful smell. It last about 4 hours until they sent her to mortuary. I was crying but I was also confused about the smell. I smelled my mask and it didn’t smell anything. Then I put my mask back on and I smelled that fragrance again. My mom was a very kind person when she was alive. I really hope it was a message from her. I was the only one that smelled the fragrance that day.
I’ve smelled my dad’s cologne several times since he passed in 2005. It’s “Obsession for Men” & has a VERY STRONG, distinct smell; especially since he wore a lot of it daily. I”CE smelt it in my twins room, the laundry room & at night in my room while I’ve been sleeping at night. I even rolled over one night & smacked my husband & asked him if he smelt something & he said he could smell my dad”s cologne. It’s nice to know we aren’t crazy!!
Love it Blair ! My mom passed Feb 2006 and not from smoking, but was a smoker (good old Wintson) I have never smoked a day in my life. I would to have her go out on my porch since my daughter has asthma. Even have a sign for guest that hangs by key holder inside my front door do that reads " In our house we do not smoke , We accomplish this with pride so if you feel you have to smoke Take your butt outside" Sitting on my couch minding my own business and suddenly i will smell the cigarettes like it right next to me and I am home alone. Just have to say " HI MOM " :-)
For years I have experienced the scent of my Dad's Mother, my Grandmother. She always wore this perfume made from Orchids, very unique. She passed over 40 years ago. Now, I also smell "Old Spice" which is what my Dad wore as he aged. It's comforting to know that both of them are around and watch over me. Blair, you even smelled the "Old Spice" when we were in one of your small groups!!! ;-} Many thanks for all you do.
Just smelled my Dad twice on the way home from work the other night. Cried on the way to work today (he passed 13 yrs ago), random songs still get to me😭
Yes recently my parrot died suddenly we all were in shock but after 5 days every now n then I feel his presence I can smell his presence…. Coz our love was infinite for him and viceversa….. doesn’t matter whether the spirit may be of a bird animal or a human being every one has the same emotion . Thanks for the video
Since so many years i have smelled my dad's scent suddenly at any random place and home for 1 sec . And its interesting to see its happening to others too 😊.
Yes, right after my grandma passed away, I could always smell the scent of the last place she was staying before she passed. It was so distinctive I knew it was her.
Actually after my mother passed away about a week or two later, i was in my friend's swimming pool with 3 other friends, since we were invited over for a Sunday brunch, and I began to smell the sweet odor and I knew intuitively it was my mother as I was standing in the pool of water. Its been 31 years now, and I still grieve for her......
My son passed away on 1-7-11 age 26 yrs old over 10 yrs ..just awful .He was a Heroin addict.Which has a. Very strong smell .Almost like a Vit B smell Every so often I go into his room which is my twin grandchildren s room. And I get a whiff of it .it happens every so often. I MISS HIM SO MUCH❤
I posted a comment on Facebook for this video. I miss my uncle Jimmy so much and he missed me to, he visits me and cooks mostly every night in his kitchen cause I can smell it cooking up and making coffee
I do smell something sometimes that is distinct. Unfortunately it is not perfume, or cologne. It's cigarettes! My parents both were smokers just about their entire lives. My father passed first, and I sometimes smell cigarette smoke. I would think that if he wanted me to know it was him, he would send the "Old Spice" cologne that he used to wear! LOL!. My mom never really wore perfume, but now that she has passed as well, I still smell the cigarettes. My husband and I were NEVER smokers, so there's no other reason to think it's anything but my parents checking in. :-)
I smelled my Dad’s pipe tobacco a couple weeks after he passed. The smell was coming near the front door of my home. The smell lingered in the house for a few days. It was very comforting.
My Dad was a smoker for many years and of course ended up with emphysema. He was smoke free for several years before he passed away but he really loved to smoke. I knew it was him the first time I smelled cigarette smoke inside my non-smoking home after he died. I acknowledged him and he was around a lot after he first died, then it tapered off and for awhile he didn't come around, at least not with the smell of cigarettes burning. Now he pops in every once in awhile to remind me that He's still my Dad. I sure do appreciate you Blair. Also I'm using my husbands RUclips since he has an account and I don't. I've subscribed under his name Jeffrey. Just a little FYI so you know! Love never Dies! Tamme
My grandma had this perfume and cream she would always use when she lived with us and sometimes I pick up the scent around our previous home. Both my grandma's on mother and another who helped raise me. I pick up this soft musk perfume. There's also a men's cologne that I'd smell without anyone being in the room. There's two different colognes. This has occurred twice. I smell it as if the person is in the room. The very first time was during the night right after seeing a tall, white male in my dream. To me he came across as a family member I had not met but may have passed. I didn't see his face exactly but I could smell his scent or whatever it was he was wearing. This has only ever happened once when my mother's mum passed away. A few of us grand kids picked up her perfume in our own homes a few days after her passing and a young nephew had seen her farewell him early hours of the morning which spooked his aunty who thought he was talking to himself. Am I fucking going crazy 🤣
Love this - my father was a master machinist and he would come home smelling like steel/metal. Whenever I smell metal for 'no obvious' reason, I know he's with me. Lily of the Valley is my Mom's trigger for me. I actually make a perfume now in her honor. Have a blessed day
thanks, as always, for your comment and support, Monica. It is always the "unique" smells that stand out from spirit as validations. I love what you shared!
My mom passed 10 months ago. I had a dream about her sickness and she was passing wind. Immediately woke up and my room smelled so bad like it was me that passed wind. It was definitely her... I miss her so much 😢😢😢😢
Omg...was texting a guy I used to really like. He contacted me a year later and I had no idea how to word my thoughts. Was sitting on the steps with a typed out text going over it. I typed and deleted over and over until it was a simple paragraph. Then my friends mom walked by and I got a HUGE whiff of perfume. It was so delicious that I basically yelled out, “what are you wearing?!” She said she didn’t have anything on and she couldn’t smell anything. I immediately realized it smelled like one of my grandmas luxurious perfumes. Women used to stop her on the street all the time and ask her what she was wearing! 😂 That was her way of telling me what I had was perfect. Sounds silly, but I needed that reassurance.
Good evening Mr. Robertson. When my mom was alive, she would wear this one specific perfume from Avon called Candid. A few days after my mom had passed, I went to visit a friend and as soon as I sat down in his living room, I got a whiff of my mother's perfume. She was there in the living room with me telling me that she is there with me and that she loves me. I haven't had that experience since and I miss being able to converse spiritually with her. I am able to converse in a dream realm and talk to them as though they are still here. A few days ago, I was in my room, door closed, windows closed and got smell of roses. Now that, I have no idea who that could be.
My dad smoked a pipe and had his tobacco blended. It smelled like vanilla. My stepmother made my dad quit. She bullied him into stopping. He was told he would get throat, gum, tongue cancer. Then go on to tell him how gross he is would look and feel.😔
Yes a past love of my life whom i had no seen for a long time.Idid not know he had died .All though i new in my heart he was gone.Sitting in favorite chair one day this very strong smell of OLD SPICE this after shave lotion he wore all the time back in the day .I knew it was him perhaps to say goodbye ,then i knew he never forgot me like i never forgot him .
I have had a lilac car freshener in the car. I haven’t smelled anything and then all of a sudden, three times in one day. And now nothing again. Thanks for saying hi Mom
I have sensed the smell of my dad three times in two weeks wohenever I got to the shower. It's funny for me because I would never imagine my dad's smell in the shower, but there it was.
I came out of the bathroom from taking a shower the other nite, , I'm looking all around to see if someone made toast, the rest of the nite all I can smell is toast, yep that was my Dad... Every morning Mom & Dad always had toast & coffee, Dad loved his toast.
When my best buddy Doug was told he had 1 maybe 2 months to live, it was devastating to say the least. We brought him home and I was his caregiver for his last months, which he lasted 7 months. He loved nature and flowers and would always bring me roses on my birthday over the many years I had known him (24). We agreed that he would make it smell like roses when he was near and he hasn't disappointed! I can be sitting thinking about him or talking to him and I can smell the flowers. I know that he is by me. Another smell is that he had this black leather jacket for years when he smoked. When he'd come to visit the smell of the jacket was terrible and I'd make him leave it outside or far away from us. It was terrible. I don't know how many times the smell of that jacket just waifs into my room where I am sitting! I know that he is near. One Sunday I was sitting in my office and I could smell the scent of flowers. I looked around to see if I had any air fresheners in my area but I had discarded the Apple Pie smelling one about 2 weeks prior. So I knew he was with me! The next day I thought about it and realized that Sunday was Easter and he had probably come to wish me a happy Easter. Oh how I miss him so much but the smells are heart warming to me.
Periodically I will smell my husband's cigar smoke and it will gently waft into the sweet smell of the little cigars my son smoked. I've smelled it in my car too - they passed 8 yrs ago, my car is new!! They're always near ❤. Yesterday and today I've been smelling, what I think, are hydrangeas! Can't figure out the link to them. I will tho eventually!!
Yes. Recently as I awoke in the morning I was smelling mom's cologne. It was extremely strong! Just in case I was wrong in what I was smelling I asked the other person in my house if they had put on or sprayed cologne that morning. No they hadn't. I was the only one who smelled it.
My mom was never in my life. She left me when I was 11 months old. I'll be 25 this December. She passed away suddenly March 28th, 2021. I have 2 of her things from her memorial that her cousin said I could have, and only one of them I always smell something from. I do have scent waxes in one of the drawers but the scent that I smell is nothing that I have. I almost smell something kind of like an incense smell. I don't have incense sticks or an incense burner. Could that be her visiting???
I keep smelling this perfume like an elderly lady would wear always near my art desk. I always say hello but only ever smell the scent. Im allergic to perfume so i know i dont have any and most times i actually sneeze walking by art desk. Id love to contact this spirit that i feel is a great great grandmother who also was into art.
For the last few days I have been smelling lysol/ pinsoil late at night while watching tv my moms birthday was yesterday, I am wondering if she's trying to communicate with me, I would love to know what she wants to say.

Love it!! And... love YOU
Just smelt my uncles saint Bruno tobacco that's why I'm watching this
Yes yes of smell a sign that says loved one
I keep smelling this perfume like an elderly lady would wear always near my art desk. I always say hello but only ever smell the scent. Im allergic to perfume so i know i dont have any and most times i actually sneeze walking by art desk. Id love to contact this spirit that i feel is a great great grandmother who also was into art.
I swear this happened twice this week. Not sure if its my son or my husband because the wore the same scent. Maybe its both of them?
