just wanted to say many thanks again Gabi for the great insights to Thai life, i first visited in 1984 and quite a few times after and decided i wanted to retire to Thailand back in 1989 - it's taken 34 years to be in the position to do so and i arrive in Phuket on Feb15 for 6 weeks to check out accommodation and retirement visa and LIVE again - i'm 69 years old and you would make an old man very happy if we could meet for lunch/dinner and i adore Italy - my first travels were to San Remo in 1959 and i have visited so many places in addition, my main career was 25 years in the music business working for multi-national record companies and a lot of very famous pop stars, it would be nice just to know someone in what i hope is my new home, i don't do social media at my age - too much of a tech minefield for me, i wish you well, Maurice ( moz )
Awesome adventure! Especially love those peaceful places up in the mountains. Can't wait to visit Thailand later this year. Thank you for taking us there 😍😍😊
Hi Gabi, you’re very lucky to see the elephant . I’d beed their many time but never seen them before. Have a nice trip and hope to see your trips soon.😊
Stunning video as always! Interesting variety of adventure off the beaten track vs. five star luxury. I’ve seen the Phi Ta Khon ghost festival in Dan Sai, Loei Provence where thousands descend upon this little town to celebrate. Your beautiful video brought back wonderful memories. Thank you!!
Gya_B brow your videos are splendid man I most loved your video which is you lost your drone in the mountain man 😀😀😀 I have seen that video two times never give up man👌👌👌👌
Isaan are beautiful during rainy season, June -July are the time to visit when flowers bloom and rice fields turn green. In summer, it's good time to see provinces along the Mekong River. The river scenery of the dry season are very beautiful. Winter season, late October to November is suitable for traveling in northern provinces of Isaan such as Loei, Chaiyaphum, Bueng Kan.
Hi everyone 👋👋👋, Hope I can get some assistance from the community here. We flying from Phnom Penh to Vientiane Laos, but we switching at Bankgkok. We have about 2.5 hours from arriving in Bangkok before the next flight departs to Vientiane. Initially I thought if we checked in our luggage it will go straight to our final destination but that does not seem to be the case. Question: Is 2.5 hours enough at Bangkok station to collect checked in luggage, re-check in or should we rather just take carry on luggage only to play it safe? Bangkok Arrive: 10:20 Depart: 12:50 Thanks so much everyone!
Thank you for sharing these places with us. I know I probably not be able to visit so it is nice to see these unique places that are off the beaten path. You have a very good eye, an artistic eye. Your grandpa was a painter, being a creative person you should try your hand at painting. Maybe paint a small canvas at those special locations. But you do a fantastic job capturing beautiful images in your videos making it so tempting to go there and to see the same.
I've been to Roi Et 2 times and to a village in Sulin several times. I also took an air flight from the city of Ubon Ratchathani several years ago to Bangkok.
Hi,Gabi. Ive never been around Isaan, looks like a one for me to do on my bucket list.Fantastic scenery, great video Gabi.I hope oneday I can explore around Thailand, you show us very interesting places and, like you mentioned you can find places when your plan changes. Thankyou for sharing with us,look forward to your next one. Sawadee Kap.😊👍👍🙏🙏
Hey Gabi,i will be in Sakon Nakhon,Wanon niwat in March,my girlfriend lives there,i absolutely love it there, then back down to Phuket for a month on the beach, great vid, safe travels 👍
Never been to Isan yet. And it really looks nice to visit. Anyway, it won't be this year? We'll be back in Thailand (Pattaya and Bkk) for 2 weeks in march but it will only be for relax and enjoy. I think I'll plan that for next year. nice for the wild elephant.
Great to see Ploy has the courage to get back on a bike! ❤️ I got f'd up pretty bad in 1996. Didn't work for nearly 3 years. Imagine hitting that hefty turd with your front wheel! 🤣🤣🤣
You and Ploy are like two peas in a pod. Both your personalities mesh so well. You both look like a good looking couple on the motorbikes with those black jackets.
I desperately need a nice quiet tranquil place like the campsite in the National Park. I could easily spend 5 days staying in that camp just taking nature in. So calm and relaxing.
Ciao Gabi i go in roi et before covid and i have very good time Ciao fron NAPOLI i like your video take care man i hope my teams win the scudetto ahahahah forza NAPOLI
I am so surprised that Thailand has do many beautiful places. I have seen videos of Bali and it too has a lot of many naturally beautiful places in a relatively small island. India is the only place I have been to, in Asia and even though the south of India has a tropical climate, I saw a lot of parched dry vegetation everywhere. And maybe in the rainy season during the monsoons, that it when it turns green?? But Thailand looks very green all year round from all the videos I have watched so far.
Nice video Gabi. Last month my wife took me to her family in Sakhon Nakhon. Song Dao to be exactly. It was wonderfull. In the village i was the only farang. Live in Sakhon Nakhon is very different from Phuket.
There is no way those ancient ruins are 900 years old LoL. Same as Angkor Wat is not. The time frame is closer to 13,000 years old. This version of history is way off and part of a global conspiracy regarding the ancient history of this planet.
@@MrSimonj1970 If you are interested best to do your own research. Its pretty clear the ruins are way older than they look. There have been many people who have done research on these things. The temples and ruins are also built with techniques we cannot replicate. It's a very long and complex topic but worth doing your own research if you are interested in this type of thing. For example if you see a castle from Europe that is more than 1000 years old then look at these so called 900 year old ruins there is no comparison to the building techniques and designs of the structures.
@@JohnDoe-Alien at least Graham Hancock has the credibility and takes the effort to back up his claims. You with your pathetic reply to someone asking for you to back up your claim, is what makes people think that it's a conspiracy.....
@@JohnDoe-Alien how can a normal person possibly research this? All I can do is note that every single one of Graham Hancock's theories can be easily refuted by actual scientists and historians who have a vastly greater understanding than a journalist ever can. I keep an open mind, but I've yet to see any proof of these kind of theories. It's just about selling books and TV shows.
@@MrSimonj1970 It's not up to me to prove to you that something is a thing. If you are happy to believe in the mainstream narrative all the power to you. There is a lot of evidence more than Hancock if you take the time to look. Most people don't as it requires actual effort to find the truth. It's also part of a bigger spiritual journey. We have been spoon fed a particular narrative all our lives and its only when you take on this personal search for the truth that life changes. No spiritual person I know would be motivated by money or ego to prove their theories, the book is a byproduct of what they discover. The idea that there are so many people all over the world making things up to get money is pretty typical thinking of the average person in this world who looks for any excuse to not take on the challenge of finding the truth for them selves.

Phimai castle was the prototype of Angkor Wat. The king from Phimai was the one who built Angkor Wat, one of the ancestors of the Thai people.

Favourite place in kingdom really warm welcoming people
Gabi, Adidas Terrex boots. They are light and very comfortable for riding and they will protect your feet if you have an accident.
