“Look at my shape”, are you kidding? Love it! 😊
She is sooo pretty and smart. She also has a wonderful energy about her.
If you’re on a fixed US retired income this isn’t bad. You don’t need to cook because food is cheap if you eat local food. There’s no way to actually live on that money in the USA! Part of the reason why I won’t remain in the USA, too expensive to live. I’m not going to exist in poverty just to say that I’m in the USA!
Just keep in mind the initial or recurring costs primarily for a retirement visa is 800K baht ($27,000.00 U.S.D.) and or 65K baht ($2200.00 U.S.D.) a month placed in a Thai bank account. When renting it must include first months rent, deposit, and last months rent at time of signing a rental agreement. Many hidden costs so please don’t think $1,200.00 U.S.D. will cut it. Good luck!
Not just the cost of living because the quality of life in the usa isn’t worth it.Even the new homes and apartments in America it’s all cheap labor there using fake materials fake bricks, fake cement, the walls is nothing but drywall with nothing else inside of them when it gets cold outside u can still feel air coming in,you can also hear the new floors moving every time you walk on them.🤔🤣This is what the United States get for trying to compete they can’t I’m glad the Latinos and Hispanics coming in they can have this poor quality of life and all of these shitty general labor warehouse, food service and Custodial jobs they keep creating 😅😊.
@@k9companion231 I can always go back to the country I was born in as it will be initially less expensive to get into but a little bit more expensive cost of living vs Asia. Either way, the US has too few benefits for me right now. I didn’t come here because I wanted to, my parents made that choice and it’s been an unfortunate one for me!
i eat restaurant 3 time/day in Thailand and have lot cheapen go street plastic chair restaurant than cooking in home, and small abartement not have kitchen many, i has live my reitree salary 1000$/month last 13 year good normal life no problems. but first need invest you have bank account 800K B then can make ewery year new retiree visa.
11:05 Not just Muay Thai. Also from healthy diet, daily exercise, and avoiding alcohol and sugar.
Amazing. Thank you miss for sharing your town.
Wow! A lot of hard work to film and edit. Thanks! Glad I found this content. Very good video. Fun to watch. Thanks again!
Mui naka is great on camera and her English is superb ! great video ! just subscribed to her channel.
That little apartment for $82 may not look like much, but for a space like that in my town in the Pacific NW of the USA, it would be at least 100 times that amount - about $800. That's what it costs a person to rent a ROOM in someone else's house in my city! $500-$800. The wooden cafe was beautiful. Thank you Miu for sharing your local area with us! The food looks delicious, except for the crickets, which I have had to feed to pet frogs 🤗 💚💚💚
Please come to Thailand and learn the local culture….including eating any fried bugs they want to feed you. 😂😂😂😂
@@4kasiavlogs I do want to come! I love the cuisine and don't like having to make it myself, especially when a can of coconut milk is about $6 in my local store😵💫 I planned on trying giant grubs when I was in Namibia (southern African specialty), but when the basket of them came round the table, I couldn't bring myself to do it. Strictly a cultural upbringing problem, obviously 😂
Hahahaha and it's not in the CHOP/CHAZ, no graffiti, and no pee all over
It's cheap because of many other reasons, the weather in the western USA is much better than Thailand or the Philippines, and Thailand has a non existence health dept, and the landscape never changes and many gold diggers!!!!
@@4kasiavlogssays an ignorant fool
Glad that finally, I got to watch the original video
Well done on the video, Thai rice is really good
Great video Sir!! Straight to the point, with all the info needed while being entertaining and fun to watch, no flafla. I think you just convinced me to go back to thailand!! It's been a few years since the last trip, I thought prices would be higher. Ill mention your video when I check in, the referal might get you a Singha, a coffee or something 555 Thanks again for the video, perfect timing! Have a good day
Good breakdown
Very good Video, thank you both. I was 7 days in Udon, beginn of 2024. Maybe want to live in future there. But im not sure about the Air polution.
Thank you. It a a very good price, but the bathrooms need some renovations. That gecco is the too-kee gecco, they are very noisy in the nights. Try some beef at To Larb Kalasin restaurant. It is superb! Also the indish restauant near Central shopping mall is great
Nice video ❤❤
That oyster pancake looked very delicious. Does the apartment include any utilities ?
Thank you very much for sharing this very informative video with us.
Udon Thani seems to be a very interesting alternative to other cities in Thailand.
Your medical insurance seems to be very affordable. Could you tell us which insurance company you are insured with?
very nice maai gaan maa
Decent price for the apartment in Udon Thani. Nice balcony, too. The screens probably aren't just for the geckos, but mosquitoes too. The catch with these apartments are the thin walls. When you live in accommodations at that price point, you're going to get some very noisy neighbors: drunken shouting, crying babies, arguments, loud music and TV. It can be very unpleasant.
@randolphpinkle4482, Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment. Good point, thanks for sharing.
What is the best way to travel to this city from Bangkok? Great video, really enticing me to visit.
Cheap flights from both Bangkok airports. Or take the overnight VIP bus with lie flat seats to sleep
@@mateor7302train 😮
whereabouts is Ladda Apartment please? location...thank you
How much for the Internet and utilities after the the cheap rent?
600 to 1200 was my bar bill in Udon Thani
So is there a discount for a 1 yr lease???
Good presentation and lovely guide. Your cost of living breakdown on most things seems very high. What type of visa do you pay US$280? a one year retirement visa without using agent is 2000 b current exchange rates = $56. Been living just outside UT for 19 yrs.
@rs5801, The costs are a little high. They are what a new foreigner is likely to pay. The visa will vary depending on which visa and where you are from and if you use a company to help you acquire the visa. I savvy traveler will be able to find better deals and reduce these costs.
If you ask me what i like to eat, the last thing i would ever say is salty crispy oyster pancakes
Great content and cute chica
Is this apartment still available?
Question...does Miu have her own You Tube Channel?
Ya
Wow, only .80 for a big helping of crickets!? How cheap are the earwigs?
1000 roaches a month
Expensive!
NOT have, this normal ewery city abartement rent.3000-4600 B/month normal ewery city has.
@@mattivirta 400 baht maybe.
11:31 👀
That's probably closer to her real character.
1277 USD is steep for Issan. Someone is getting hustled.
normal good life budget, my budget has be last 13 year in thailand 1000$/month, can live easy good life. NOT tourist shopper or bar life.
How?? I spend $4500 US each month?? I'm doing something very wrong
She has my vote...lol
2 year i has live udon thani, little better abartement 3600 B/month plus elektric, normal ewery were there, coupon restaurant many many time has eat there, street food same many time eat and all good. my budget has many city around thailand last 20 year about 1000 $/month can live normal good life but not lot bar and bar girl can use. not tourist life but normal life can.
5:31 Not really a soup. Its chicken broth.
It’s cheap, but it looks like a prison cell
I'd take a prison cell then over my current apartment at ten times the cost. This is honestly nicer and it doesn't have a train running through it every 3 minutes (tracks are just 3m away. In my country, this pile of shit place is all I can afford. Anywhere else is literally double the rate or more. A quiet, cheap room like that looks like heaven to me.
You need the gecko to eat All the mosquitos. Mistake.
$82 a month for a room. Sure. If I were struggling to finish my first novel. Or trying to forget about a girl instead of joining the French foreign legion.
What they don't tell you is if retired you have to put about 25k dollars in a Thai Bank . 3-4 month a year has the worst air pollution on the planet. Lived there for years . I consider it a joke
pollution problem have north thailand cian mai and cian rai area not udon thani area has, i has live udon thani 2 year and not newer has problem air pollution. now i live more far east from udon thani
If you're using $1200 a month in Udon Thani .... somethings wrong, or the women are taking your cash .
To be fair, if you try to live on less than that anywhere, you'd be living like a dog, and deservedly so for being such a piece of cheap trash. Good god I pray my golden years aren't so pitiful
2500+ a month if you want a decent standard of living
Yes, agree, Im in the country side about an hour from Udon Thani. If you want to travel add more, if you have a girlfriend add more...
That's relative. From what I saw at 1200 USD, that's still an upgrade to my current standard of living at a fraction of the cost.
@@FromDkWithLoveI'm always surprised how people end up giving numbers for a decent standard of living. It must be because people are used to live in big houses, constantly eat out western food, drink all the time and have some girl friend who doesn't work, and leeches their money. People that have kids or health problems are in a different situation of course.
@@abc_0_10_11 Heh, yeah, still most people don't even live like that, like 90% of the world's population and at least 60% of westeners definitely can't afford to live liek that. But I think perhaps regardless of our socioeconomic status, we're all set in our ways and we like nothing more, than to tell others of how we'd like to do things, and to add in the bonus that if they are, they'd do the same thing we did. Shit, parents have been doing that since before we invented fire and pointy things to stab each other with.
My best friend only spent around $20 for the whole trip. Y'all must be billionaires. She also g9t to see a different ethnic people near mayanmar border, their writing has a lot of circles.
3:18 Covid is over. She can take off her mask now!
The pandemic might be over. She's more attractive than the hostess, it is about protecting your family members
She removed it later
Maybe she's got a cold, dude. If she wants to wear the mask, let her. No one is stopping you guys from wearing your MAGA hats.
Not a very attractive place, very humid 24hrs a day, health dept doesn't exist, and the scenery never changes and lots of gold diggers, used to live in Thailand for 1 year!!°
You probably lived in pattaya as a sex tourist , thinking all thais are gold diggers,,
good place live big city, weather have perfect old retiree men, gold diggers not need meet, waste only money stupid, i has live in thailand last 13 year and my reitiree salary income have 1000$/month and can live normal good life good, better weather than europe, better food and healt care food than europe, good hospitals, newer not need worry how much all cost, can live lot lot better than europe.
