I think us westerners can be a little dramatic when it comes to cleanliness. I’m not saying we should be dirty or unhealthy, but a fly landing on uncooked food isn’t going to kill us. I think we need to overcome this prejudice because it implies that people from other parts of the world are “dirty” when they aren’t. They’re just not as pampered as we are on a daily basis, in my opinion. 😂😂 I’m not coming after you, by the way! I catch myself having similar thoughts as well! Yes, Sakon Nakhon is close to the Mekong River. It is easy to cross into Laos. In Laos, the natural tourist attractions are beautiful, and I believe they are cheap too. If so, you must have a car to drive in Laos. Because the car fare is quite expensive for tourists😊
