      It's not strange because most foreigners come to Thailand in the zone of tourists living, but if you come to experience the countryside, living, eating and different cultures.

      People need 4 main factors for living: having a house to live in, having food, making rice fields, growing crops, raising animals, having clothes (in ancient times, every family used to weave cloth), having medicine (herbal medicine), eating food that contains herbs That is to prevent disease. With some pathogens will not tolerate lemongrass, lime, galangal, ginger, kaffir lime leaves, Krachai head, turmeric, tamarind and many other medicinal plants. mixed in Thai food.

    “Why are there bees on it?”
    Because it’s an outdoor market, sir! 😂 If you set meat outside, bugs are gonna appear no matter what you do, right? I think us westerners can be a little dramatic when it comes to cleanliness. I’m not saying we should be dirty or unhealthy, but a fly landing on uncooked food isn’t going to kill us. I think we need to overcome this prejudice because it implies that people from other parts of the world are “dirty” when they aren’t. They’re just not as pampered as we are on a daily basis, in my opinion. 😂😂 I’m not coming after you, by the way! I catch myself having similar thoughts as well! I’m just hoping some other westerners may see this comment and gain a new perspective! ❤ We gotta spread knowledge and love with each other! Thanks for the upload, you guys! Definitely gonna subscribe ❤

    • @TravelsWithRose
      @TravelsWithRose  5 месяцев назад

      @cecemepls0 Thank you for the nice comments☺️🙏Yes, the outdoor market often has insects here. The people in the Northeast try to find ways to prevent it, but that's all they can do. Thank you for watching my video and waiting for comments from other videos as well☺️

      Yes, Sakon Nakhon is close to the Mekong River. It is easy to cross into Laos. In Laos, the natural tourist attractions are beautiful, and I believe they are cheap too. If so, you must have a car to drive in Laos. Because the car fare is quite expensive for tourists😊

      (Dave typing) I'm not sure the video was taken in 2023 (RUclips is likely suggesting it to you some time after it was published?), I suspect the video was taken some years ago during COVID times and I acknowledge that the Thai countryfolk in the farmlands were much more conservative/fearful than the city folk, so I suspect the masks were worn to appease the locals out of respect and so I didn't cause any more attention than a bright-red and ginger Farang would normally cause! 😂
